beautiful
This is completely random, but I noticed how much TEXT there is on my blog. It's begging for a pretty picture! So I pulled out one of my favorites. I took this a few years ago while visiting Butchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia. This is the place where my mom (who was traveling with me) and I discovered Nanaimo Bars. Have you heard of them? My Canadian friends know exactly what I'm talking about. OH MY. Talk about yummy! I'll share a recipe for that some day, too.
But back to the flowers - do you love that summer is here? Have a great weekend, everyone. Enjoy some sunshine. I'll be back to answer more questions.

What a beautiful picture! And yes, I'm so glad it's summer! The weather is Kansas City is perfect right now (and hopefully will be when you're here in October!). Thanks for blogging - it's a bright spot in my day!

What a beautiful photo Becky. I noticed last weekend my Lily is peeking through my wood chips. I can't wait for it to bloom in July! Have a great weekend. :)
Those flowers are gorgeous.
I'm actually sad that summer is here. Hibernation time! Already 100+ outside and it's not even June yet.

Glad that summer is here, but not so much here in AZ.
We love visiting Butchart Gardens...we try to go every year while vacationing in BC.
Oh ....Nanaimo Bars are so good...mint flavor is my favorite !!
Lovin' your blog Becky! :)
Hi Becky, I have the new book "Organization Tips for Scrapbookers" and I love it. I'm always on the lookout for ideas on how I can be better organized (overall, not just scrapbooking)! :) I saw on p. 207 your tip about the Cropper Hopper Expos -- would you mind sharing with us what you labeled your Expos on the outside? I know how I'm going to do it with the inside of my Expos but have trouble deciding on what words to put on the outside of the Expos to describe what's inside. Thanks, Becky! Susan
Butchart Gardens is one of my favorite places in the whole world. I've been there many times; while in Victoria for flute masterclasses and while on my honeymoon. It holds such a special place in my heart. And Nanaimo bars are out of this world...recipe please! I haven't had one in years.
I just wanted to say that I made your Andes Mint cookes for my Beehives and they were a huge hit! They turned out great. Thanks for the recipe.
Hi Becky! I'm so happy to find your blog - I've admired your scrapbooking and approach to the craft for years and years.
It sounds so funny to hear someone just discovering Nanaimo Bars, because being from BC they're pretty much a staple in our house, LOL. They are they best! It's wierd to think some people haven't heard of them. Glad you like our little treat. I always buy them though - in this one instance, homemade never seems quite the same!
I'm very grateful for the warmer weather. I have started walking more faitfully now.
I LOVE Butchart Gardens too! One of my favorite places on earth so far. I also discovered Nanaimo Bars on Victoria. Oh I am just salivating (sp?) thinking of them.
