teachers
Happy Teacher Appreciation Day! I'm so thankful for teachers in my life and wanted to say a special hello to those of you who are teachers. Porter and I put together some cute little bags filled with chocolates and he took them to his pre-school teachers this morning. Speaking of appreciation, if any of you need an idea for a last-minute teacher gift, you could make a quick set of cards for them. Who wouldn't love some homemade cards to have on hand?

I made these cards for Porter's teachers last Thanksgiving. Three sets of cards in 30 minutes. I literally was in a pinch for time and just grabbed my new favorite stamp at the time (the bracket stamp from 7Gypsies), some darling Crate Paper scraps, flowers, brads, and a fine point black pen. I always have a stock of white cardstock and standard white envelopes too, so it really was a snap to put these together. So in a half-hour I had a set of cards for both of his teachers and an extra set for someone else.

These are adorable Becky! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm thinking this would be a nice touch to a mother's day present.

Those are GREAT!
simple and easy!! Fantastic!!
What a great idea! It would be easy to make some up to have for quick gifts.
I wanted to thank you for sharing your idea way back when in the ck mag about doing a month by month baby album. I loved to idea and created one when I had my daughter two years ago. My friends have also used the idea for their babies. I liked being able to write down things and then later be able to add it to that month's page. It felt so much less stressful than having to feel like I needed to do a page for the single events. Anyway thanks for your continual inspiration.
Becky, thanks for sharing this simple but great idea. And....I'd love to see pics of your new scrap room, I've heard it's to die for!
Great idea! I always make cards for family/friends to go with their gifts but I love the idea of giving them a set of cards as the gift.
Great idea!
