I love reading or seeing something that really inspires me. I'm not talking about the oh-that's-so-pretty type of feeling. I'm talking about the okay-I-am-totally-going-to-do-this-right-now type of feeling. And now I'm adding Rebecca Cooper to my list of favorites.
I mentioned that I read her new book on my way home from CHA (where I met her for the first time). I did this layout the very next day:
This all-text layout is a list of things I wanted to thank David for (we just celebrated our 12th anniversary). I spent all my time on the journaling, and putting the layout together was the quick part. I like it like that. Sometimes it's fun to spend time on the creativity aspect and sometimes the embellishing is not necessarily where I want my focus to be. You know?

Love the simplicity of this. I agree - it's very inspiring.
What a lovely layout, Becky. Always love your style. :) I completely agree that Rebecca's book is SO inspiring. It has been a constant inspiration to me lately to record my everyday "real life" memories.

12 years! happy anniversary! It is great to be able focus on the journaling rather than the pictures once in awhile.

I just wanted to stop by and tell you it was GREAT meeting you at CHA! CHA was such a great experience- it was the first one I'd ever been to. Can't wait to get your new book! Anyway- just wanted you to know it was very nice to meet you!
I completely agree. Rebecca's new book looks amazing! But then again, EVERY book from CK Media is AMAZING (including all fo yours)!
I love how you displayed the layout are those 12x12+ clipboards at first I thought they were part of the layout. Where did you get them?

I just made a list like this called "Thank You God" and I've been wanting to do a layout for it. Mostly journaling, like yours. You've inspired me to get it done! I love it when you share your stuff. :)

This is beautiful Becky! I love this idea! I did a "journaling only" 12x12 LO for DH on our anniversary! This would be a fantastic compliment to that page! I can't wait to read her book.. and your new one too btw!! :)
Hi Becky. I really enjoy your creativity. My personal inspiration for layouts are your sketches. They have helped give me the self-confidence that I CAN create. Thank you for sharing your talent.
