Q&A for Monday
Getting to more of your questions today:
[ NEW SKETCHES BOOK ]
Yes, my new book IS spiral-bound and lays completely flat. It's a bit smaller so that it doesn't take up your precious table space when you're making a layout. Also nice for on-the-go scrapbooking. All set to ship to you soon (September).

[ FAMILY HISTORY WORKBOOK ]
The new Family History Workbook is NOT authored or created by me. It's a follow-up project & idea book to my book that was released last fall. In fact, I haven't seen the new workbook myself. Can't wait! Looks like a good one.
[ PRINTER ]
I use the HP Color LaserJet 3550 for printing all of my journaling. I LOVE my printer. As for getting white text, see my post from 6.22.07. Remember it's not white ink that makes your text white. It's the ABSENCE of ink, printed on white paper. And that's what gives you white text. (Kate, fun to hear that you met my parents in D.C.)
[ LETTER STAMPS ]
The foam letter stamps that I used on my 4th of July layout (see my post from 7.3.07) are from Creative Imaginations.

[ THE WHITE GIRL TANS AFTER ALL! ]
I have to throw in a random, funny question. Meg mentioned that I've been looking tan in my pictures, but somewhere she read that it's hard for me to tan. Yes, it's really hard for my fair skin to tan. Very true. But we've spent more time outside this summer than ever before (thanks to finally having a pool!) and little by little, I guess I got a little darker. I'm sure I'll be back to my fair-skinned self this Winter. :)

Hi Becky!
I'm not familiar with where exactly to post my question.. but I'm desperate to find photos of the cute baby album you did for Porter! You came to our ward in May and did a slide show that included that adorable album! I can't find it online, is it in a book? Thanks!
Jenny M.
I have been on pre-order for months!!! I can't wait for the new sketches book, Becky!
Can't wait for your book!!! Love your stuff!
Woo Hoo! Can't wait to get the book in my hot little hands!
I hope your new book is out in time for CKC-Phoenix! I would love to get you to autograph this one. I just got your first two books spiral bound, so I am very happy this one will be spiral already! Keep up the Great work!
I can't wait for your new book!! Will you have a copy with you at CKU-Nashville? I would love to take a peek! I wish I could get you to autograph one for me.... oh well, bad timing, I guess. I'm going to LOVE it! :)
I'm a white girl myself so I was wondering what your secret was. :-) Thanks for the post. It made me smile!
Becky -
I have a question for you to answer at some point during your Q & A sessions. I am wondering how you organize your travel photographs. How do you decide what trips require multiple pages in an album and which require just one summary page? Do you separate travel photos or keep them intermixed with everything else? I have a lot of travel photos and am completely intimidated by starting them in fear I will get in over my head and will be doing only travel photo scrapbooking - it's easy to have a ton of photos from trips, even when it's just a weekend.
Thanks!
A whole bunch of us have put in a pre-order for your new Sketches book, cannot wait. Already ahve the other 2...
Hey Becky,
I cannot wait for this book! I love your sketches and love the way you use more than 1 picture on a page. Thanks again!!
Cant wait to get my hands on your new book.
Will there be a chance to win one on your blog (hint hint hint)
;-) Michelle
I see you accomplish so much and wonder how you manage everything with two small children. Being a mother or three (ages 6, 5 and 1) I feel like I never accomplish anything. Your children must be angelic. :) How do you do it?
Love your books so much! They are a scrapping staple, if you ask me. Like the classic black dress! Keep working hard....from another pale girl, who is the mother of another pale girl!
Hey Becky,
Can't wait to get my hands on your new book! I've been a fan of yours for years! Your style is timeless. From one pale girl to another, keep up the good work!
I'm also a big fan of the books. I haven't preordered this one but it's definitely one I'm getting my hands on.
I have a question and don't know where to ask it. I'm a bit behind on my magazines and just saw the sketch you did for the August issue. Who is the manufacturer of the 2x2 punch that you use? Is the 2x2 the most common punch you use for your squares or are there bigger sizes?
I am so excited to find your blog. I feel as if we have so much in common. Both married in 1995. Our two kids are just about the same age. Both lived in Ohio, have red hair and fair skinned. Well anyway, my question is how are you handling scrapping "The School Years"? Where are you putting the holiday stuff, Christmas, etc. Do you have a seperate album for each child for that or just the family album?
Thanks,
Brenda
Yeah! How GREAT is that!!!!
