chicken pillows

This one's a staple for our family:

[ CHICKEN PILLOWS ]

2-3 pieces of cooked chicken breasts, diced
(or 2 cans of chicken if you're in a pinch for time)
8 oz. cream cheese
Salt & pepper
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
6 crescent rolls (Pillsbury Grands are best)
stuffing mix (I prefer Pepperidge Farm brand)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk

Combine first 3 ingredients. Add a spoonful of mixture on crescent roll. Wrap around and pinch the edges. Dip in melted butter and then roll in stuffing mix. Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes. Serve with mushroom sauce (combine soup and milk in saucepan over low heat until smooth and creamy).

Thanks for sharing the recipe - it looks great. I find that I get in a rut and seem to prepare the same dishes all of the time. It's nice to get a few new ideas.

We make those and call them chicken packets. :) Thanks for the reminder of that recipe! (My husband loves them more than I do and I haven't made them in a while - I may need to surprise him with them tonight)!

This sounds so yummy! Thanks for sharing. I’ve wanted to ask you something. You have been graciously sharing your recipes with us, I was wondering if you might be able to share some of your page LO’s from your recipe album you’ve done. I don’t remember where I’ve seen a page or two that you published. But might you be able to share a few more examples from this album? I’m in the process of moving out of state and I really want to put together a family recipe album before I move away. Again, Thanks for sharing! :D

Becky, my mother-in-law and daughter and I tried your Nutella croissant recipe and they are SO addictive! Thanks for giving us some new ideas, and sharing your creativity! My family and I appreciate it (now I need to head over to the YMCA and work off those calories!)

Becky, this sounds so good, I am on Weight watchers and when I added the recipe to the site it came out to 17 points ( if the serving is for 8 people). I only get 21 a day so I changed all items to reduced or fat free and it came out to 7!! I will see if it tastes good that way and let you know,.

Oh, definitely, these are going onto the list of dishes that *must* be tried. You can't go wrong with chicken, really... unless feeding a passle of vegans, of course, but that's a whole other mealtime challenge. :) Thanks for the kitch inspiration.

I was making this for dinner when my husband called and said friends were coming over to eat. I wasn't sure it was one of those 'guest' meals...but we all ended up w/multiple helpings, delish.
