creative escape

Wanted to wish you a most wonderful weekend. Anyone doing anything out of the ordinary this weekend?

I'm a STUDENT at Creative Escape this weekend (it's here local to me, in Phoenix). So fun to be on the other side of things for a change. To just show up & learn from other teachers & make projects that stretch me to try things that I normally wouldn't do. Aslo really fun to see some familiar faces of some that I've met before at CKUs or conventions ... even a few pals from South Africa. Loving that.

Did a quick photo shoot for a pair of brothers a few days ago. These little feet belong to Kaden & Kobe. It's amazing to me how your "baby" suddenly looks huge when another baby comes along.

so cute! I just love high key kid pics. Oh, thanks for sharing the recipe book. Just the inspiration I needed to get started on Christmas gifts for the in-laws this year!

Hi Becky! I just wanted to ask a quick question. I saw the video on the CK website when you saw your book for the first time. Congrats by the way. :o) You mentioned that your new book was going to be available as of September 1 but it looks like it is still in the pre-order phase. Do you by any chance know when the book will be released? I am very excited to see your new layouts. You're such an inspiration!

Hey Becky! It's me Christine (Walker) Cook. How are you doing??? I love your blog. It is so fun to stay up to date with you this way. My friend took some pictures for our family last month and actually took one of our feet. You'll have to check it out on my blog http://cswcook.blogspot.com It turned out really cute.
PS I ran into Kim McCrary this last Tuesday. It was so fun to see her and catch up on what she's doing!

I don't know why it's taken me so long to realize you have your own blog now (I used to check all the time!), but so glad you do! Big fan from way back...

What's the recipe you mentioned in your post about Butchart Gardens? I visited there with my mom this summer for the first time (and LOVED it). Ate in their wonderful tearoom, but missed the goodie you referred to. thanks!

So very true about how the older baby looks huge when a new baby comes along! We had our new little one in March. When I left for the hospital, my 2 year old was still my baby. When I came home 4 days later, I asked my husband and my mother-in-law were feeding him while I was gone, because he was HUGE!!!! LOL!!! Hope you had a great time at CE!!!

I sure wish I had been visiting my brother in Phoenix this week! I would have LOVED to go to Creative Escape! But then I guess that means I wouldn't have been doing to much visiting with my brother huh? LOL

The picture is way too cute!
