from ckc to mt
Translation: From Creating Keepsakes Convention to MemoryTrends (trade show).
The CKC was in Phoenix (my backyard) this past weekend. Always lovely to meet such kind people and see many familiar faces from previous events. Check out the t-shirts that a group of friends made to wear at the event. And this other gal ... I happened to see her sitting in the hallway between classes looking at my new book. That made me feel good. : )

MemoryTrends is in Las Vegas this week. I'm just popping in & out. Looking forward to seeing what's new. Totally stoked about dinner plans with friends while we're all there.
And, of course, the best part of this busy time as I'm bouncing from here to there a bit ... a solid Sunday of just being with my family, going to church, visiting a few friends, painting pictures and reading books with my kids, chatting with neighbors on our walk, getting a little creative with a couple home decor projects (I'll share some pics soon), even getting a much-needed nap. Just BEING with my family.
This is the stuff I love the most. No question.

Amen to that!
I hear you, Becky!! After a crazy week of transition - Kids back to school, meetings every night last week - it was so nice to have the whole weekend to just do fun family things! We went on a hayride, picked pumpkins and an apples and went horseback riding! Can't be that!! AND, I too took a nap on Sunday!!
Becky...
Thank you so much for being so nice to that gal in the hallway! You are such an inspiration! If you would like to see the other side of the story, come and check out my blog! I can't wait to take classes from you in the future. I look forward to every April and September now! How do I find out what you do around the valley when you aren't at conventions? Hope to hear from you!

Hello Becky,
I have a quick organizational question for you. Is there a particular day planner that you use each year to keep track of everything you have going on in your life? Would love to discover what organizational tool you use for this purpose!
Thanks,
Denise

Becky,
Thank you tons for mentioning Rebecca Cooper on your blog! I had no idea who she was but you are so right...she's adorable with fabulous style! I love it! Thanks so much!
Kate!
Becky,
I've been an avid fan of yours and enjoy reading your blog posts. Got a question though, do you subscribe to any sb kits/clubs out there? besides the ck monthly kit of course and why or why not?
Thanks a bunch,
Grace Tolman
Hi Becky! It was SO great meeting you this weekend and I'm excited to know about your blog. I'll visit it periodically and expect to read about some of the great recipes that you mentioned in class. Not to freak you out, but I'm scrapping my CKC pictures and framing the page to hang in my scrapbook room. I still can't believe I met the person who transformed my scrapbooking style. : ) You're awesome!
I got my book today! FINALLY! I don't think I've ever been such a stalker of the mail. It is even better than I imagined. Thanks.
Becky...

Wow! You have so much energy Becky! You make a great role model. Oh, now that I have enough hair, we finally did family photos. Coleton was feeling left out since he was born right before I started chemo. Once I get up the energy to scrap it, I'll email ya. I can't wait to see the book, hopefully I'll get to the scrapbook store today!
It's here! It's here, It's here!
How sad must one's life be if you see the ups truck stopped outside your apartment and you pray that his delivery is for you and that it is your looooong awaited (well it feels like forever okay) New Becky Higgins Sketches book! I had to tell you that I was thrilled that it was for me and it was my book! Haven't looked at it yet just wanted to let you know that WHOOO HOOOO! I GOT IT!
Thanks for all your hard work in making my scrapping easier Becky!
Regards
Lesley
