new books to check out
I'm just about done reading through Stacy Julian's newest book. If you haven't already heard about it, be sure to check it out. I love that girl, first of all, and love everything she does to contribute to this hobby and this industry. And I wish we were neighbors. Really. She's terrific. Most of you already know that. With this book, she presents her approach to tackling the process and organization of photos and EVERYthing that scrapbooking encompasses. She's loaded with experience & great ideas and I always learn something wonderful from her.

You can pre-order Stacy's book here.
And Jessica Sprague (digital scrapbooking extraordinaire and also a dear friend) has a new book out as well. Jessica has made a significant contribution to the scrapbooking industry, as she has helped thousands of people "get it" with digital. I love that. And I know many of you have been looking forward to this new book. Even though I'm just a "digital dabbler" (haven't really dived into digital scrapbooking so much, but I'm using Photoshop every day with my pictures) ... Jessica's work is eye candy for me and I totally admire her. Be sure to check out this source of inspiration!

You can pre-order Jessica's book here.

[PS] Attention scrapbookers in Florida: I heard about a cool charity crop on February 23rd in Maitland. It's the 1st Annual Care to Crop, and it sounds like a lot of fun. You can find information about the event here.

Hi Becky:
I registered to take Stacy's "Library of Memories class, which I hear is great. We have also started a LOM Support Group in Oak Park, CA. We had our first meeting to make sure we are all on target to finish the class. Two of the group members have taken Stacy's class and absolutely love it. I have ordered both books (Stacy's & Jessica). I can't wait to get them.
Both of these books look great. Thanks for the info!
On another note I saw a segment on fine living channel tonight about sponge gloves. You've mentioned in the past that you wear gloves to wash dishes. Lush sponge gloves are the name - very cool colors too!
Becky,
So ironic you posted about Stacy's book tonight!!
I have been going through hundreds of pictures these last three nights and I just feel swamped and like I'm making no head way. I AM getting some scrapping done in the process but still feel like I am completely disorganized so I am hoping to get some help from the book. Thanks so much for letting us know about Stacy's book. I can't wait to get it.
Thanks,
Andrea
Becky - this is totally unrelated to your post, but I was wondering what brand and the particulars of the cutter you use on your video...I haven't ever seen one like that before. I look forward to hearing your reply.

Becky, do you know if Jessica's book is compatible with Macs?
This doesn't go exactly with the current post, but I had to tell you that I made your Andes Mint Cookies tonight for a get together and everyone loved them! Also, my friend and I are excited about your KOTM, but with both of us only having 1 child right now, we wish we knew how many children we were going to have so we could purchase school kits for the future.
Is it possible that CK can offer your kit again in a year or so? It would be great if they could reoffer every so often so we could buy more kits as we go! Just an idea!
Love Jessica too. She is flippin' talented! Can't wait to take some more of her classes.
I'd like to enter the drawing.
Thanks,
Kathy
Would love a chance at the Photo Freedom book - pick me, pleeeeeeeeeeeeease@

Leslie
