school kotm - it's coming!

I'm pleased to tell you that the February Kit of the Month is my SCHOOL YEARS kit! This goes on sale February 1. One week from today. And that's when I'll fill you in with all the details. I tell you everything about the kit ... inside and out.

The one thing I will tell you now, is that this kit will cover your child's full school life (or yours if you want to tackle your own pictures!), from pre-school to 12th grade. I can't wait to tell you more ... and show you EVERYthing!

When it's available for purchase on Feb. 1, you will be going to this link for all the information and purchasing. And I'll be doing some fun things here on my blog, so stay tuned. For those of you who may not have noticed, the last few kits in the Kit of the Month program have sold out in less than a month. So remember that they go fast. I don't want you to miss out.

The price? It's a $185 value (!!) if you were to purchase similar components at retail (you'll understand more when I show you everything). I'm thrilled that we are offering this for $36.95.

So excited for this kit!!!!

By the way, how do you make the pictures so small on that bottom layout? The layout has one big picture in the middle with all those cute tiny ones with a white border. I have been SO stumped on how to get that done! I know you are super busy but if you find time I would love an explanation or just point me in a directions that would have info about it. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

Seriously SO excited about this kit!! I am waiting up to buy!!

Can't wait - I loved the Christmas card kit and I'm sure this will be great as well. I just started a scrapbook for my son with Creative Memories and I do not like it - - - they really limit you with the way their pages are designed. I feel a change coming on :o)

This is so great! One question - is the kit simple enough that a child could do? My son is in his second year of preschool and last year we started his school album and he did the scrapbooking (with a little help from me) I did it this way because years from now it will be fun to go back and look at how his own ability and talents with "cut & paste" evolve throughout his school years. So I would love to get this kit if it were something we could use together.

I know you aren't responsible for the logistics of KOTM, Becky, but any word on when exactly these will be available?

It's after 8:30 on Feb. 1st, and I expect your kits to sell out fast...but they still aren't available.

If you hear anything, please post a heads-up. Thanks!

I have tried to purchase six kits for my six children since 6 am CST. They said they were sold out. There was no way around me purchasing those kits without that showing up. I have been waiting on these kits since 2007. I am very disappointed on how it turned out and I could not buy them and there is no other way to get them.

I am very disappointed.

I am very disappointed that this kit sold out so quickly. I was waiting for this since last year and within few hours, they were GONE! I am also disappointed that there are many selling on ebay for 4-5 times the price. Were there lots of wholesalers that bought to make lots of money? In the future, I think you should limit the number of kits per person like 10 at the most so that individuals like us have a chance to buy. There are many disappointed people. This kit had been advertised for months so I think there should have been more available.

Becky, you have such wonderful talent and I absolutely love your style!

I’ve not been super familiar with all of Becky’s kits, however this one caught my eye!! I too was looking forward to purchasing a couple of these kits as it will make a great collection of my children's educational memorabilia. I do hope more of these come to be offered at a later day. It's disheartening as I look on eBay to see how many of these purchased kits are now listed there so someone can profit and, what I feel, is take advantage of mommies who couldn't get their hands on it to start with. Some may view it as smart “business”, however I disagree. I guess I'm naive enough to think that scrapbooking mommies would not try to monopolize and take advantage of others, after all this is our hobby that we do with our whole heart for the love of our children. Hoping to have another chance at buying this one....
I love Becky, her style, her tips, etc... Keep up the good work!

I do agree with you. I would not go on EBAY to look but my best friend has. It is really ridiculous on the prices and they do not have the kits yet. I tried to get six being a mom of six and I had been waiting since August 2007. I hope they do go and make more kits and I will continue to check Lisa Bearnson site before I give up. I may not go to her site again because of the glich. I was really sickened by the websites glich. I have a lot of people buying the kits from her website. I hope more kits are produced because they will sell.

I hope they read what we have to say and consider making more kits. I know I will purchase 6. That is all I need. This is not about profit for me but memories.
