where do you go?

I came across this layout recently (it's published in CK's February 2005 issue and based on my sketch for that month). I'm so grateful I did this layout. It was from the time that we lived in Cleveland, Ohio and now, of course, we no longer live there. It's so fun to look back and see all the places that we saw on a daily or weekly basis.

It got me thinking. And I want to challenge you to do a similar themed layout in your scrapbook. Whether you live somewhere temporarily or you're a long-time resident. These places you go, they make up part of what your life is. Get it recorded. And if you do ... e-mail me the layout. I want to see! (bhiggins@ckmedia.com)

Hope you've having a great day.

I love your simple and beautiful layouts, Becky! I've been wanting to do a layout about our home and town for awhile now, so this could be fun!

I have a question that kind of has to with your post a few days ago about picture storage (on your computer). Do you attempt to scrapbook every (or practically every) picture you take? If you don't, what do you do with those photos that don't make it to the scrapbook??
Thanks!

I love that layout Becky! I'm going to MA next week to visit my grandfather and my hometown, and I think I'm going to scraplift that to do a "my hometown" layout. Thanks!

This is just what I needed! Thank you as always!! You seem to always come through for me! ;) We are two months outside of Match Day-you guys probably remember what that is like! We live in Columbus, OH and there have been a million things to do here and if we leave here in June and start residency somewhere else, I want my kids to remember what kinds of things we did here during med. school. Now, I just need your help with a favor...tell me or show me how to scrapbook four years of my husband in medical school into one layout !!!! ;)

You gave me some inspiration. It might take me awhile but I'm going to do this. Wish I had done this where we used to live so we'd have the memories, but I'll start now. thanks

Becky,
I loved this layout when I first saw it. I've been planning on doing this layout for quite a while - I think this is a fun, yearly layout to complete. I took all the pictures for my layout a few months ago, but just haven't done it yet. Maybe I will so I can send it to you!

I remember this LO from CK and it inspired me to do a similar LO for a book I was doing when we moved to a new place. I devoted a whole book to our old home and town and one of the layouts was about our favorite places there. I love to look back on it now! Thanks for the great idea, Becky!

I REALLY loved that LO and remember it well. I live not too far from where you lived in Cleveland....LOT's of COOL things to do there. But I am SURE that you don't miss the Ohio winters and the snow....

I heard you live in or around Peoria...I also live in Peoria and am so sad Recollections closed. Do you know of any scrap groups in the area? I would love to belong to one. Do you teach any classes in Peoria? I ask because I heard you live near Peoria.
Have a great day.

Good morning! I have been anxiously awaiting the school kit (along with so many others Im sure!) and waited up until after 1 a.m. Eastern to order. I thought I must have made a mistake with the time difference and finally went to bed. However, when I got up this morning, its still January's kit? I was wondering why and if we will see your kit before the end of the day? Thanks so much for any answers you can provide.

Hi,
I'm another one that stayed up really late last night waiting for it. Now this morning it still isn't there. I wonder what time they will list it today? I don't want to miss it but I hate to spend too much time waiting also.
