1. It's 2:30 pm MST and only 10% of the kits are left. Edited: We are now sold out. Wow - thank you! We ordered a lot of these kits, expecting that they would go quickly but these went way faster than we ever imagined!
2. There was a typo in the content list on the KOTM site earlier, so for those who might still be concerned, please note that the clear memorabilia pockets are PPC = polyproplyene, not PVC. It's the same material as Cropper Hopper and other similar products.
3. The pages and page protectors and memorabilia pockets are designed for the standard 12" x 12" size.
4. The page protectors are designed for 3-ring 12" x 12" binders.
5. The design is totally gender neutral. It's not "feminine" or "masculine". Just fun. :)

Wow! They're selling so quickly! I was so busy at work today that I almost forgot about today being the day to order them. Thankfully I got the number I wanted in time!

You told us in an old post that you display albums around the house. How you do this? Where do you leave them? I really want some ideas about that, 'cause there are some albums that my kids love to look over and over again.

I just got home from my daughters first grade field trip to the zoo and came straight to my computer to order the kit (it was not available yet before I left), and they are gone!! I am so sad!! Any chance they will be available again?

I'm bummmed! :-( I checked this morning at 6am PST and there were server problems and now it's 2:30pm and it's sold out!!! Will this kit be available again? I've been waiting for it for so long!!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE consider putting together more of these kits. I went to the website first thing this morning and they were not yet available. I looked again later this afternoon, the first chance I got, and they were sold out. I am SO disappointed.
P.S. Oops. It wasn't twice in a row...it was the December one that also sold out too fast.
I saw that there was some left, went to get my credit card and came back to find out they are gone.

I have had this date marked on my calendar since you posted in your blog when the kit would be available. I set my alarm early and was checking the site every five minutes until they were available. I snagged 4 (two for my kids and two for a gift for my best girlfriend). So excited to receive them and so grateful for your talent when putting together this amazing kit!
just got home from work to get a set or two and they are GONE!?!?! Just goes to show you how wonderful your designs and organizational skills are appreciated!

I was just talking about this kit last night. I went on a field trip with my son today, and now they are gone. This kit went so fast! Whaaaa...ok had to get that out, I'm better now >"<
I tried to get home in time to order this kit...I really hope that there will be a chance that this kit will be available again. So bummed that I missed out....and I was waiting since last year in hopes of getting this. SIGH

Becky -- Fortunately I was one of the lucky ones to get one before they were all gone -- yay! (I live in Hawaii and they are not shipping here, but I had it shipped to a relative on the mainland, so I'll have to wait a bit longer -- and pay extra shipping -- before mine finally arrives at my house, but I'm just glad I got it!) Even though the kits are already all sold out, I really hope you will still be posting your videos with page ideas and tips related to the kit on your blog in the coming days as planned -- PRETTY PLEASE!! Even for those bloggers who were not able to purchase a kit this time around, they may still be able to benefit from seeing your ideas also, and might appreciate it too--?? Gone on the first day..I wasn't expecting that..I know it's good for you, congratulations..so sad for me.
I signed in at 6:30 this morning before leaving for work, and the kit was not yet being displayed for ordering. I left for work, came home, and now it is sold-out. Why was it not available at 6:30 am? How unfair to those of us who work and really do work...not shop!!! Perhaps if the kits continue to sell-out so quickly, they should consider having the first day of sales on the first Saturday of the month for those of us who work!!!!!!
Ahhh, I'm so mad. This will teach me to talk to my husband before buying something! Do you think you guys will order more? It just frustrates me because some people buying this kids but a lot to then make money on ebay. Maybe next time there could be a limit to buy so one person doesn't buy 30 of them! I notice that happened with Dec. KOTM and people then sold them for $50 times 5-6 kits! Just a thought from one sad scrapbooker!
please order more and let us know when they are available. I would hate to think this is a publicity stunt to create a short supply when demand should have been adequately anticipated and met. good business and customer service would not allow you to sell out of these in less than 3 hours. those of us who live on the west coast just got the email about the kits, and were not able to. perhaps you should have a limit on the number of kits that can be purchased? Frankly, I'm shocked as well as disappointed. Your kits are great and priced right, but this is really inexcusable. As you said on your blog, "Remember: When they're gone, they really are gone."
..and so are your customers...
I just read tricia's comment, right above mine. i didn't know people buy and resell your kits at a profit and find it really sad and frustrating. if you know this is happening (which you must), you should at least put a limit on the number of kits someone can buy. otherwise, you are endorsing the "scalping" practice, albeit indirectly. and the bad feelings you are engendering among the scrapbookers cannot possibly be your goal. let's just hope this is a bad business decision on someone else's part...
I too am so bummed these are already sold it! I tried like others this morning and they were not available and now they are all gone. I agree that there should be a reasonable limit placed on the nubmer of kits each person can purchase to give everyone a better chance to get them. With the incredible demand for these kits, I really hope that they are offered again.

Becky - your kit is amazing, and it is evident in the fact that it sold out in less than a day!! Hopefully many more of these will be manufactured so everyone can enjoy one for each of their children...if the whole next batch doesn't sell through the KOTM program, Lisa can always take them to QVC...(smile)

I was fortunate to get my KOTM ordered this morning (i work from home, so could keep checking the website), but it seems so bittersweet because of those who didn't. I too was surprised how long it took for it to become available this morning, making it impossible for some to purchase. I guess this is my question, what time on the first day of the month are the KOTMs available? My impression was that it was after midnight.
Becky - I don't want to leave his email on a downer. Please know your products are in huge demand - I think because everybody just feel so connected to you and loves you(not to mention the ridiculous amount of talent you have)!! Thank you for sharing yourself with us! Reading your blog every single day is a must for me!

Hello Becky. I unfortunately didn't get to order you school kit though I wanted it so darn bad. Oh well. :( But I did just want to let you know that I love your layout and am currently working on a similar one on the places we often visit around town. I live in Hawai'i as well and was extremely frustrated after having waited so long for it to be available. This is the first kit that couldn't be shipped here. Luckily, a friend let me know right after I ordered. I then had to reorder and have my kits shipped to a relative in Cali. The only bad thing is that I'll have to pay shipping twice now.
I agree with the previous posters. It should definitely be made available again. Time zones make everything so difficult.

Thanks for letting us know about the earlier "PVC" typo. I was glad to find out that the pockets are not actually made of PVC, as that might harm the very memoribilia that we are trying to so carefully preserve inside the pockets. Thanks for clearing that up, and thanks for making such a wonderful product!

Just felt like I had to comment, too. I was able to order one, but went to order another this afternoon, and they are already gone. I hope that CK will order more since the demand is so high (sold out just hours after it went up!!!). It does seem unfair for people at work. I ordered on my lunch break (thank goodness!)! I know how many people were waiting and waiting for this product.

I'm so happy I was home today so I was able to snag one of these kits for each of my kids-I'm so glad I didn't DELAY! Just think-if you put a kit together every month-You could be a RICH woman. Becky -- I may be jumping ahead, and maybe you are going to address this question on one of your later video postings, but I just had an organizational question that I was wondering about....I know you've told us in the past that you keep chronological albums for both Porter and Claire, so.... if YOU were to use your OWN school KOTM pages for Porter and Claire, will you create them into SEPARATE "school" albums for each of them, or would just just integrate the pages right into the appropriate places in their chronological albums -- therefore spreading the pages out into many years of albums? (in other words, intermingled among other layouts with themes other than school layouts?)

Oh, sadness! The email announcement arrived in my mailbox and I immediately clicked on "purchase" only to find they were already sold out!! I can't believe it!! I have been waiting for this kit for sooo long.

Since I have two active kids and I'm lucky to find time to sit down by 9...not to mention I work full-time, this was exactly what I needed to at least keep their school albums current. Little did I know buying your kits are as bad as getting concert tickets. Just another advantage that stay at home moms have. So what is the key to buying the kit? or am I just out of luck?
I don't get how some international people weren't able to buy it? I am in New Zealand and had no trouble although the postage for my one kit was $45.... I decided to grin and bear it cos I really do want this kit!!

I was online at 11:30 pm last night and ALMOST waited til midnight to see if it was up, but chose to get to bed as 5:30 am is my wake up call and I need my rest. Wow! I can't believe these were gone so fast. I can't believe people bought multiple kits when they didn't even have kids for all of the kits yet. I only wanted one. I do hope this kit's popularity merits a change in policy and can be reordered. I'd prepay too if that would help. Wonderful idea - you can tell from all the interest in it.
