school kit shipping

Great news! For those of you who were able to order my school years kit, I just got word that they have begun shipping from our warehouse in Utah. So watch for the big brown truck to pull up to your house sometime very soon! And ENJOY that kit. I know you will.

For those of you who are wondering about ordering the kit (to receive at a later time), we are working on that. As promised, I will let you know any information that we have as soon as we iron out a few details. Thank you for your patience. We have a lot of wonderful, hard-working folks behind this program and we all want the best for our customers (you).

And speaking of wonderful, hard-working folks, it's not very often that we think about those who work behind the scenes to ensure that we get what we order, right? I wanted to publicly say a big THANK YOU to our warehouse team, including those who pitched in who don't even work in the warehouse. In just a few hours, they got most of the school kits out the door!

Impressive. And appreciated. Agree?

I agree. Alot of times, the people in the background get forgotten. So, that is great that you thanked them publicly, so we all can, too.

THANKS to all the hard-working people out there!!!

Speaking of inspiration....do you have any fun and creative things you do for Porter's class for Valentine's Day? I'm sure we'd all like to know! :)

It's funny that I came here and read what you said today, because I was just thinking about that as I received some things that I ordered after watching Lisa Bearnson's appearance on QVC.

As I opened and went through my things, I was thinking, "Wow. Somebody really has to go to a lot of work to produce, sort, package and get all this to people!"

And I felt really happy that there are people who care about putting out quality products!!

Now I get to think the same thing when I get my KOTM!!

I completely agree! The people in the warehouse or backroom do tend to get forgotten, so...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH to them!!

And a thank you very much in advance for getting MORE kits ready for those of us that missed it in that 6 hour timeslot!

I've seen comments coming through on the other blogs about pre-ordering. If that is a possibility I would love to pre-order and pre-pay for 3 kits please.

Thanks again Becky & all of the great people you work with for getting a 2nd shipment in the works!

I agree that it's impressive! I'm obsessively checking your site and Lisa's site. I don't want to miss the kit AGAIN, and I keep fearing that's exactly what's going to happen! I want two of these kits so bad!

I often think when I get packages from QVC how hard a shipping department must work! Plus, getting something like the Cosmo Cricket TSV, wow, to put all of those kits together in the first place! Impressive indeed!

Hi Becky. I'm excited to be able to order your school kits--now I just have to decide whether I should buy extra in case we have more kids. :)

I was glad to see that you'll be designing more kits of the month. I was hoping maybe you'd think about designing a family history kit, similar to what's in your books. Something with a family tree and room for photos and stories would be really cool.

Have you thought about teaching a class at Big Picture Scrapbooking? I would love to take a class from you, and maybe you have a little room in your schedule since you're not teaching at CK this year? What do you think? Maybe do a class that's connected to one of your kits, like the Love Story Kit was?

Just my 2 cents... :)

Gotta love the "behind the scenes" people! Thanks to everyone involved!

I can't wait to receive my KOTM!! I'll be watching for the brown truck and that won't be hard since my little guy is so sick so we won't be going anywhere.

Happy Valentine's Day!

WOW!!!

Such good quality and I know that I will be able to make a wonderful project out of it!

I like it so much that I am going to order more when you re-do them...one for me, and one for my husband!!

Thanks so much!!

I received my kit today and my 8 year old and I unpacked it. I'd already shown here a little bit about the kit online. We're thrilled with everything! I'm so relieved that now I have a plan in place to keep her school memories. Thanks Becky, couldn't have done this so organized and stylish at the same time without you! A Big thanks to all of those involved that got me my kit packed so well and delivered so quickly!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this kit available again. I'm a bit obsessive about checking your website and the KOTM website to find out when I can order this time. I definitely don't want to miss out again! Reading the above comments makes me so impatient to get this kit. Thanks for putting this together and for listening to those of us who didn't get to order it the first time.
