march kotm

Happy March! And you know what happens on the 1st of every month - a new kit of the month is released! So be sure to check it out here.

I made a few layouts using the March KOTM. Fun, bold, colorful designs. The kit includes everything you need to complete lots and lots of layouts. Sounds so good, doesn't it? Just add your own pictures & journaling. Be sure to check it out.

I love it! Thank you for the reminder.
Lisa's is my favorite scrapbooking Kit of the Month club and I have gotten many items through Lisa Bearnson's KOTM (unless I forget and get there too late and it sells out). Always looking forward to it and I love that there's no commitments to join for a certain number of months.

Thanks for sharing a few of your layouts Becky! They look great, as usual! I had seen Lisa's preview blog on this kit and was looking forward to getting it. After missing the school kit, I was not going to miss March 1st!!

I got this kit early this morning and loved the layouts that you did. I am all for putting lots of picture in one layout and still looks good. Although I take lots of pictures and use more that one layout per occassion, this kit like what I did with your KOTM would be my opening pages for the occasion. I can then use that as an inspiratin for the next pages. Speaking of your KOTM, I just finished my daughter's preschool and kindergarten. She's in 1st grade now so glad to be caught up on that. I put the plastic envelopes in a d ring binder so that is a separate album for the mementos. BTW Becky, thank you again for your sketches. I cannot scrapbook without them in front of me.

I knew that I wanted the March KOTM when I saw Lisa's layout in the latest CK magazine in her editor/founder section. I got this one!!

Any word of more production on your School KOTM? I really tried getting that one when it went on sale, but I had to go to a crop ( East Coast; the Kit was not up for sale yet due to the time difference ); when I got back in from the crop, it was sold out already. I was not going to pay the outrageous E-Bay prices that people were going to pay for your kit.

I always enjoy your layouts.......even the spit up photo. :)

Totally off the subject-but I bought one of your card kits (you know the one in the pink box) and you know how it comes with the smaller pink photo album, is that just a photo album or is it something for the cards-and also what do you do with the bookplate? Do you just glue it on the front of it? I'm sure there are super obvious answers that I am just not seeing-or just so obvious that I shouldn't have to look for them-but I am using the excuse that I am preganant and the baby has eaten my formerly creative brain cells! Thanks in advance for your help! Hugs!

Hi Becky-
I am a huge fan of your work and we have kids of similar ages. On that note, I wanted to ask you how you scrapbook for both of the kids when it's for the same event? I am struggling keeping up with my son's album let alone doing the same event for my younger son ( ex: Halloween). I have tried using the Kodak kiosk to reprint the original 12 x 12 in color and put a copy in my youngest or switch them back and forth but the colored copy isn't nearly as stunning. Any suggestions? I would love to hear from you!

Thanks so much-

I just love your style - I am a big fan of the clean/classic look and have scraplifted many pages from you! I feel kind of silly asking, buy you have the cutest headbands on your daughter. I have looked in many stores and can never find anything like that. I have twin girls (18 months) and they will not keep barrettes or ponytail holders in, I'd love to try a headband. Any store recommendation would be greatly appreciated, we have pictures coming up this Saturday!
Thanks, Jill

I just wanted to let you know how much I LOVE your school kit! We had a snow day yesterday, so my dd and I sat down and worked on her school stuff. She LOVED putting everything together! She's only in 5th grade, but it was good to get her earlier grades caught up. My only problem is that I didn't buy 2 more sets for my younger daughters. Will definitely be watching for the kits to go on sale again! Thanks for such a great idea!

Becky - I would love to hear if you met your goal to do 31 layouts in January - how did you do it? A certain # per week? A layout a day? I really struggle with time management (as you can see, I'm commenting on this blog instead of something else more pressing!). I would love to hear your ideas since you seem so organized and productive. Thanks!

Where are you Becky? I check your blog daily and haven't seen any of your creations lately. Anyway, just checking to see how you are?

I have a question...by any chance are the women in the ad for Archivers? It looks just like you. It only is showing a women from her backside looking in the store and I have always wondered if that was you.

Take Care
