I am so excited to tell you that we are definitely bringing my school kit BACK and if you're concerned about it selling out again ... I'm going to tell you how to avoid missing out: We are making this available as a PRE-ORDER item. That means you just head over to the website, place your order, and you guarantee yourself a shipment this summer. : )

The re-released kit will have one change: There were a few tabs damaged on the memorabilia pockets (there is one per grade included in the kit) with the original kit. These will be detached this time around and you'll just stick them on (they're self-adhesive and ready to go). I got the samples and they're GREAT. No more damaged tabs.
PS - If you happen to see "sold out" on my kit, that's NOT correct. Just a little glitch that needs to be corrected on the website.

Thank you! I have been watching the site daily, both yours and Lisa's for updates and I am so happy to say my 2 kits for my boys are PreOrdered! Worked like a charm! Can't wait until they are shipped. I can get started on my oldest son's (4 yrs old) Preschool pages!

Hi Becky! I was one of the lucky ducks that got one of the kits the first time around, and I noticed that my tabs are damaged, even though I haven't used any part of the kit yet. How do I go about getting replacements?

thank you thank you thank you! I wasn't fast enough the first time around so I'm glad I could pre-order now. I have been wanting to start school albums for my boys for awhile now but wanted to hold off to get this kit. Yay! Now I can gather everything up and be ready to go when it arrives.

Hi Becky - THANK YOU! This is great. I was so bummed when I missed these the first time around--so glad they're back. Just ordered two and am getting ready to email a bunch of girlfriends.
On another topic, can you update the recipe section of you blog with the recipe that you eat every Christmas Eve--the chicken and stuffing casserole? I found it in the archives, but I think a few ingredients/measurements were missing. I tried it, but also didn't know if the stuffing was supposed to be dry or cooked when I put it in the casserole. Ours was really crunchy--is it supposed to be crunchy?? :)

Suggestion for album??
Hi Becky. I too was one of the lucky ones who got the kits the first time around... now that I am getting around to putting it together, specifically the memorbilia pockets, I was wondering if there is a 12x12 album that you recommend for this. I purchased American Crafts' 12x12 D-ring alum , called clothalbum, which is nice because it is large enough to protect the tabs....but there is no way I can fit it all in one album. With just the empty memorbilia pockets, its at least twice as high back of the binding. Did you have an album in mind for this or do I just need to purchase additional albums?

Not to speak for Becky, but if you go back to her blog post about this kit (where she shows all the contents), she mentions that she doesn't expect it all to fit in one album. Hope that helps.

I have just taken the plunge and pre-ordered myself two of your school days packs. I live in Australia and am on a budget, but although the postage cost may be high, having the system to scrapbook my daughters entire school days seems worth it. My oldest is in Grade 2 so not to much catching up to do, and my younger one hasn't started school yet, so for her I am almost organised!! Thanks so much for keeping us informed about the product.

Yesterday, I preordered two school kits. Should I have received an email confirming my order? I didn't receive anything on email, so I was just wondering if the order had gone through. I'm so used to receiving an email following any online order that I was just a little concerned.

I have four kids and plan to have a couple more, plus my husband and I are wanting to do our own school years from when we were growing up. Hey Becky! My cousin ordered your kits the first time around and she called to tell me about them. She also emailed me about this new opportunity and so I took the plunge and ordered them...can't wait to see them! I LOVED your last book and use it often as a reference when tackling a new page...so I'm sure the kits are just as organized and well put together. Thanks again for creating something that makes a busy mom's "historian" job a bit easier since none of us have the time we would like to record our memories.

In one of your entries around Christmas time you said that you would tell/show us how you store Christmas cards you receive - I've been keeping a look at for this and wanted to know have I missed it or have your done it somewhere else previously. Becky do you know how much the shipping to canada would be on a pack that big I want one but I don't want to pay just as much in shipping for it.
