technology flashback

Well hello there, 15 years ago. Nice to see you.

I came across this picture of me (yes – that is spandex) and I just love the flood of memories that came back of working on that typewriter for so many projects and school papers. And of course we had the beloved dinosaur computer. My ever-devoted-blog-reading brother Kevin will have to chime in with what machine that was.

And of course I’m sitting with my legs folded up, which is exactly the position I am sitting in as I write this now. Some things never change.

But technology sure has. This was before iPods and instant-messaging and digital photography and e-mail and cell phones. Well, I think there were cell phones in the early nineties (?) but I am quite certain we didn’t have one yet.

Anyway, just a shout-out to the good ‘ol days. When my loungewear consisted of spandex pants and a baggy sweatshirt and a banana clip to hold my hair back. And before I got into scrapbooking. And before I organized my clothes in ROYGBIV order.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots of links and I see lots of trackbacks??
