heads-up on my next kotm
Some of you are asking about my school years kit - the February KOTM. It sold out very quickly on February 1 and we decided to order more and make them available again. We did this, making them available for pre-order for quite a while, and many of you took advantage. They sold out once again. They are gone. If you are wondering if there's any way that you can still order the school kit, I'm sorry to say - no. They really are gone.
Here's the good news (whether you missed out on ordering the original kit OR if you already have it): My next kit comes out in July - next month. It is an expansion on the original school kit. Here's a sneak peak:
A little explanation: If you do NOT have the original school years kit, this will provide you with so many great products to create school pages and get school stuff organized. NOTE: You do NOT need to have the original school years kit to get this kit. It is a terrific stand-alone collection of cardstock, patterned paper, photo corners, letter stickers, ribbons, cool label tabs, stamps, etc.
While there are some school-specific designs, most of the components in this kit are very versatile for a variety of themes. The fun, bold colors and patterns will be perfect for so many pages & projects you want to get done.
If you DO have the original school years kit, you will love having these additional products to create more pages for each grade, or for whatever you want. We've used all the same designs so everything complements the original kit. That's why I refer to this as an expansion to the school years kit.

Can we pre-order this kit so we don't miss out if we're ordering 18 seconds after it's available instead of 15 seconds? I'm pretty sure that's how long they'll last!! *wink*

I was one of the lucky ones to receive 2 of the school kits. Are they shipping to Canada? I had to get them shipped to my mom in Florida last time. I hope so.

ooohhhh . . . .more school kit stuff to order! Now I'm wondering if I should wait until July to get this past year's stuff gathered and put into place. (grin) I now have kits for each of my 3 children (just got the 3rd one on Friday) and have been looking forward to getting them "caught up" (especially for the ds just entering 7th grade. . . oh my, lots of years to catch up for him). I can't wait to see some sneak peeks on this product. Here's hoping I actually remember really early on July 1st to order!

Thanks for all of the organizing tips. I love to be organized and currently am trying to get my 7-year-old's room wiped into shape! I came up with several new ways to get her organized and was getting excited while doing it and she said "Whatever". She definetly is my husband's child. The type that shoes are sitting where they were taken off, clothes thrown on the floor, you know the type!!!
Anyway, I have 3 school kits and a Becky Higgin's Purse coming in the mail. Also, the first ever matching wallet! I think I need another Becky Higgin's item. Cannot wait until July 1st!

I am so excited about this expansion kit...Woo hoo. I can't wait. I missed the 1st order on the school years kit...missed by about 20 minutes....ordered 4 for during pre-order...I only have 2 kids...but bought them for my sister....This will rock! Can't wait. Woohoo!!! Becky you are so awesome! And soo bad too! Ha! My hubby is going to kick my rear for buying more stuff!! This new expansion kit to the original school kit looks great! I just received my 2 kits last week from the pre-order and I'm starting on my oldest son's preschool pages now! So fun! Okay, thanks so much for answering my poor cry for the School Years KOTM. I guess I just missed the boat. Hopefully you'll do it again next year! 'wink, wink'. Couple questions: when will these kits start selling (PST, EST or MST?) and like everyone else - can we pre-order. Your kits are so amazing and they sell out so quickly - it really is like the 'amazing race' to see who can actually get one of your kits. Thanks so much for creating such wonderful kits. Here's a question Becky--Can I just get one expansion for 2 regular kits? I have to say I LOVE the kit. I was lucky enough to be on at the right time and order for both my kiddos...my 7 y.o.'s is completely up-to-date and I am planning to make it a yearly thing to get that year in school's pages done before the end of each school year. The other one is for my pre-school boy--his starts this fall!

How wonderful July's kit looks! I have 2 kids and bought a school kit for each of them. Do you think I need 2 of these expansion kits or will 1 be enough? I've put together my daughter's preschool years and will start on her kindergarten year in the next few weeks (the end of the year isn't until next week) and can see how I can easily the products in your expansion kit. I can't wait to see more details of what's included (the stamp, etc.) in the kit.
Does the expansion include plain cardstock to match the cardstock in the school kits? If so how much and what colors?

Did you order enough is my biggest question. *wink* The first time the kit went on sale, it was gone before people could blink. And even the pre-orders were huge. I hope there are lots of this kit prepared.

FedX truck came this morning and delivered my three pre-ordered school kits. This is the first time I have ever ordered kits of any kind and I love them - these kits are great, especially the pockets!! I too am interested in a preorder of the expansion kit.

I got so excited yesterday I forgot to asked this: Are these papers 12 x 12? I think it is, just want to make sure. How many papers are there and does it have a print that tells each grade? I just think that if this is an expansion kit, it might have something that says pre school,
1st grade, so forth and so on.
How much will each kit be? So I can set aside my budget already. I am getting 2 or 3 kits. Maybe 3 if within my budget but definitely 2 for my 2 girls. Oh and the ETC. folders? LOVE IT!!! Will use it to hold memorabilias for our trips. Hey Becky, how about a video of you? yup..pregnant and all..am sure you're cute as ever.

I received my school years kit last week and started on my daughter's album last night. She just finished kindergarten. Just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying the kit and easy it is to use! Thanks for helping me keep track of all the school year memories! I am excited to see the new kit as well!

I just received my School kotm and they were both damaged. I was pretty bummed about it. My previous kit was also damage. Other than that, I absolutely love the kit and I am looking forward to July's kotm.

Quick question... I purchased 3 of the previous kits for my 3 babies. Do you think I need 3 of these additional kits or will 1 kit work as a supplement kit for all 3 of them?

Can you share your idea about a summer playdate card? I think you mentioned it awhile back but would love more details (what info did you include to friends) as my daughter is finishing school next week. Think it would be great to make cards w/her photo on them and some info inside about being friends and wanting to get together over the summer. Any ideas or photos you have to share would be great! Just wanted to say that I liked them just as much this time as I did back then! I really relate to you with the kids/phone etc all going crazy the whole time! Becky -- I'm definitely with all of the others above who are hoping we can pre-order! Please, Please, PLEASE can you find a way to convince CK to set it up as a pre-order again?!! I will be traveling out of the country that week, and I'm afriad I will surely miss out! The expansion kit looks like a super "MUST HAVE" to go with your school KOTM that I already own! I just love my school KOTM. My kids finished school yesterday and I've already vowed to not take all 4 at the same time to the store for the rest of the summer!

Just received the School KOTM and there are spelling mistakes on the folders. Who do I contact about replacements? I do not know if there are more mistakes on other pieces but I would like to speak to someone about this.

I don't know if this is something you have already been made aware of but I just received my School Kit and the word school is mis-spelled on the preschool folder. Can you please let me know what I need to do to get corrected folders (I ordered 2 kits) ?

Did some more looking at the kits and not only is preschool incorrect but the number 3 on the attached tab on the 3rd grade folder is printed upside down. If you look at the back side of the folder it looks correctly. Yes I know you directed us to customer service but this product does have your name on it. Will someone contact us?

I have a feeling that the number of people wanting this kit will crash the site unless they opt for pre-orders ahead of time. I sure hope they do, Because I am one that is hoping for 2 of them. Please do some pre-orders it just makes sense for everyone involved.
