1. For the sake of including a picture, so this post is prettier and not so text heavy ...

We're flashing back 4 summers ago, when my now almost-Kindergartener was just a toddler. Getting a little sappy over here.
2. I just got word that the expansion kits will likely start shipping today, so WOO HOO for that, for those of you who have ordered. And if you haven't ... and you're thinking about it ... be sure to check out my video clip below (July 2) where I walk you through everything that comes in the kit.
3. I'm suddenly hit with a feeling of urgency to get "caught up" in our kids' albums before baby #3 comes in a couple of months. You know those divided page protectors? Yeah. Those are sounding really good right now. Just what I need to save time and get some "pages" done. Looking forward to some not-so-creative scrapbooking here soon. Sometimes it feels great to be creative and sometimes it feels great to just get the pictures in the albums (accompanied by journaling, of course). I think that's the only way it's going to happen for me in these next several weeks if I really do want to get a lot done. I think I'll hit a couple stores in search for those divided page protectors later today.
4. Have you considered submitting your work to my "Becky's Sketch" column in CK? I'd love to see how you use my sketches for layouts, cards, home decor, anything! Click here to see the newest sketches that I've posted ... and show us what you've got!
5. Isabel, one of your fellow blog readers here, has made the suggestion of someone possibly starting a Yahoo group for people to post layouts that they're creating with the school kit (including this new school expansion kit, which is still available to buy here). If anyone wants to head that up, I think it's a great idea. If you do it, shoot me an e-mail (bhiggins@ckmedia.com) and I'll let everyone here know. This is a great way to share ideas and layouts and to gain inspiration from each other.
6. A reminder to anyone with customer service issues regarding KOTM products: Please e-mail Vivian (vgrothe@ckmedia.com) with your questions.

Wonderful picture! I still get misty-eyed and my kids are 13 and 9! :)Hope you're feeling well and everyone's healthy!
Maybe all your loyal fans could help you getting caught up on your albums. I'm caught up on mine so I've been working on other projects. I'd love to do a page or two for you and send the over to you for your album. I'm sure three kids to scrap and document will start to pile up.
Of course if you're like me you'll be reluctant to do this. Kind of defeats the purpose, but to get caught up it would be fun!!

I would love to hear more about divided page protectors, I've never seen them. Please share if you have the chance! I totally know what you mean about being more creative sometimes, and more practical and simple other times.
Hi Becky:
That is a precious picture. They grow so fast.
I just wanted to let you know that Vivian has been wonderful. She has done a great job in helping me.
Do you plan on doing another book?
Marta :)
Your Chinobilly friends are with you on the divided page protectors - but sadly the pickins are slim in Prescott so we had to order them online (I know that IRW and Scrapworks both sell them). We're all about actually enjoying our kids and making memories these days. When our kids are grown, we'll have all the time in the world to scrapbook - til then, we're keeping it simple - but still totally cute! Can't wait to see what you do with the divided pages! Please post!!

Great pic! Divided protectors sound like a fantastic idea! Would you please post a finished project of one...I would love to see how they look before I invest in them...
Thanks so much!
I love your February sketch! Really leads the eye. I'm feeling inspired already...
I've submitted to your sketch column a couple of times. I haven't been selected yet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed. :) I'm just curious, how many submissions do you get for each sketch?
We would love to see how your divided page protector project works out. I bought mine from scrapworks.com. My friend and I are doing the same thing in order to feel productive and not let thousands of pictures sit in a box until the perfect layout comes along. Please post soon. Take care!
I bought several packages at Hobby Lobby. The brand is Ultra-Pro and has 10 per pkg. So each pkg would hold 120 photos (less if you include journaling). I got mine on sale half off. They are regular price $4.99 per pkg so I got mine for less than $2.50 each!!
Becky, This is my favorite site for divided page protectors. I am using them to do an entire album about my husband's deployment to Iraq that he just returned from. It is definitely the way to scrap a lot of pictures in a just a little time. www.exposuresonline.com/ExposuresOnline/browsing/category.aspx?CID=Albums+%26+Scrapbooks&SCID=Pages&SiteNum=0&pageIndex=all&sortBy=Rank%20ASC
This link should take you directly to the page divided page protectors page - my person favorite is the 12x12 4x6 pocket pages! :) Hope this helps! Enjoy!
I was thrilled to find some divided page protectors at Hollo's! I can't wait to use them. They could probably ship to you!I noticed you listed them in your "things I'll miss about Ohio" layout...I live about 45 minutes from there so I don't go that often, but made a trip out there 2 weeks ago.
Mail was heavy when I added this link some time ago in the initial school kit buzz--I also started a FlickR group for those of you who FlickR for Becky School Kit Layouts:

I'd love to see your work as well.
Hey Becky...I just started working with my School kits today and I am just too excited...it is an awesome kit! I really think I am going to make a goal to be caught up with both kiddos by the time school starts Aug. 25. Wish me luck! (Can't wait to get the expansion kit!)
Hey Becky!
I was just going to mention starting a Flickr group for the school kit...but see it is already done...will have to check it out!
Can't wait to get the expansion kit in the mail! Woo hoo!

Thanks for the idea about the divided page protector. I am working on my son's high school senior year scrapbook and am really trying to get it done before he is a senior again...in college! The page protectors might do the trick. Hobby Lobby - here I come!
Maggie - I just took a look at your layouts using the school kit -they are fantastic!! I bought the kit a while ago, I can't wait to get started!!
I'm a big fan of divided protectors. I've been wanting to get some for the same reason. I haven't tried these ones yet, but Pebbles, Inc. has a Share & Tell system, and they sell divided protectors. They look nice.
It's funny that you mention the divided page protectors. I just recently ordered some from Pebbles in My Pocket for the same reason. I figured my photos could at least be there temporarily and be enjoyed until I can get them scrapped. I'd love to see what you do with them!
I'm excited about getting the School Expansion Kits I ordered to go with the School Days KOTM. I've been getting all three of my kids' piles and piles of school papers and photos in order and ready to put in albums with the kits. I'll share my layouts with the new Flickr group when i get some finished. (Thanks to whomever started the group!)
Becky - I have a question along the lines of submitting to your column.
I'm getting to the point where I think I have a couple layouts that might be worth submitting, both to your column and other places. But everything I do (pretty much) starts out as one of your sketches.
So, how do I properly give credit to you? And is it taboo to submit a layout that starts with one of your sketches to places other than your column?
Thanks!
Can't wait to get the expansion kit. My daughter and I worked on her Kindergarten pages the other night and it was so much fun!
On another note, I made the garlic shrimp linguine from your recipes and all I can say is YUUUMMMMM!!! That one is definitely a keeper!!
Just thought that I would "Share & Tell" about the Pebbles divided sheet protectors. I live by one and bought some a few months ago. They are great. I have been needing to do some catch up too. They even have cute journaling cards to match. I took all my 1,000's of negatives to Costco and they put them on CD's so I could throw them out. $2.99 a CD for as many pictures as one will hold. Then went through and threw out the doubles of photos I have from 97-2004 and then put a ton in those sheet protectors. Great way to go. Took me two+ a little more days to do this. I feel better already.
I extra fond of the Scrapworks Antholigie ablums and divided pages. I have 4 hugh ones done and 1 of the 8x12s...I like the combinations of various pocket sizes.
Dear Scrapsofme -
Where's the best place you've found to purchase the Scrapworks Anthologie albums?
