I'm tending to a couple of your "most frequently asked" questions lately. First, many of you are looking for a new recipe. Sorry I haven't posted one in a while! Okay - it's done. Here you go. : )
The other request is for more information about the display of photos in our home office. It's a simple project.

1. Got the wall shelf from IKEA (I can't put my finger on the exact shelf, but click here for a similar product).
2. Got the frameless clip frames from Pier 1 Imports (not able to find them on their web site but click here to see them on IKEA's web site. Looks like they have all the sizes too. And holy cow, they're cheap!).
3. Printed some favorite family photos, all in black & white, in various sizes to fit the frames.

This is a close-up of what the frameless clip frames look like:

Thank you so much for the details on your photo display!! I love the pictures!!
you rock!
Those are awesome! That would make a great display in any room!
I love this frameless clip picture idea--beautiful.
Regarding Project 365..I love it and am really enjoying it. It would be great to see what the designers are doing witht the kits as well as your own pages. I was hoping for more layout pictures on the kotm website since this has been so big! Lets see what all those CK designers have done with it.
Hi Becky!
Your photo display looks great. Enjoy reading your blog. Keep up the good work!

Hi Becky!!
Thanks for the recipe. I will make it this weekend. It's hard not to get in a rut when it comes to thinking about what to feed my family.
Kristi
Thanks for the details on your photo display. I love it. I have a big blank wall in my bedroom and wanted to do something with family pictures and I think this will work really well!
Becky
Have you done a video tour of your scrap room and how you organize in all those beautiful cabinets. I am planning mine and would love a peak inside yours and how you organize! Thanx Amy
Are those the Stripa shelves from IKEA? My daughter has her pictures displayed on them, too.
I recently did a project using the frameless frames in my kitchen. I bought them at AC Moore. Although I only used 8x10, I'm pretty sure they had larger sizes available. Don't forget to use your coupon!
I've also seen Becky's project done with having your photos mounted on foam poster board. Just ideas...
Here's a link to my project:

Becky,
Did you know they make raspberry hugs for valentines this year? I'm going to experiment with your "melting on a pretzel" idea. I'll let you know how they turn out.
I'm planning a new scrap room too and know that you did an article on yours in CK a while ago, but a video tour would be AWESOME!
Also, did you ever tell us what shade that green is on your walls? Love it!
Love that photo display idea! Thanks for sharing it with us. I too would love a video tour of your office.
I love this idea! Thanks for sharing. BTW have you thought about possibly doing a Project 365 version on Shutterfly? That is totally my vote! Since I missed out on the kit, I am going to try to do a version on Shutterfly. My problem is that I don't know anything about digital scrapbooking, so I am going to try to use the backgrounds that are already on there. I would love to be able to use what you have designed!
Thanks,
Missie
PS Sorry if you have already addressed this idea and I missed it. :0)
very cool
Over the years I've loved many things in your home. Great ideas/decorating I must say. By far this photo display has been my favorite. Beautiful display of picures with nothing to distract, clean and simple. BTW: Those Pier 1 frames...look like much better quality than Ikea's. I've had Ikea's version and they recently hit the yard sale box...not so great if you like to update photos frequently.
I love this idea. Gonna have to copy this one. Loving the project
365.
Becky, thanks for sharing the tips on the photo display ! I really admire your creativity and how you display your photos at home. Thanks !! :)
Becky!
Love all of your inspiration! This frame idea is so great! Your pictures always turn out so good. Can you give me a little help on how to contro; my flash better? Everything always turn out so bright and washed out when I take pictures inside. Even when I change my ISO settings. Still hoping something is going to work out for a 365 reprint too! Even if I can't get it for months, I still want it (and I'm sure other people would buy it too)!! :0)
Thanks for everything!
Erin
Love this idea. I have some empty wall space that this would fill nicely!
Could you please find out when the "official" ship date is for those of us on backorder status? I've called customer service twice and keep getting different answers.
Thanks
Love it, thanks!
love this look, I was thinking maybe doing this on the back splash of my kitchen counters Very very cool, and thanks for sharing the details too!!
Awesome photo display. Will try to incorporate something like this in my home. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Becky,
So so hoping that you can answer this question for me. I know you print pictures at Costco too. Love that place. My question is how do you size your pictures in Photoshop so that Costco does not crop the top and bottom? Every time I get my 4x6 prints back, top and bottom are missing just enough that it changes the picture. I have called Costco, talked to others and can't seem to get an answer, hopefully you can help.
I got your Kit in the mail yesterday. So excited to open it and start putting pictures in.
Blessings,
Alicia Johnson
Hi Becky,
me again. if you happen to have an answer for my above question my email is ourkidsathome@earthlink.net.

I love those frames, we use them in my 12 year old daughter's room since she has a room makeover every other year ... they go with anything she can dream up. :-)
I've always loved your photo display...very eye catching! I also want to say thank you for your recipes! Last week we tried the Chocolate Cake Cookies and our family LOVED them. They're the best "quick" chocolate cookie I've ever made. :) Thanks again and have a great day!
They have the frames at Michaels craft stores, too. I have a couple (I copied your 3 frames on a metal dish hangar that you posted a while ago).
I love this idea, too, but don't have anywhere to put that type of display. :)
And I wanted to say that I made the Nutella Rolls for the first time the other day and we all LOVED it! They are SO GOOD warm! Thanks for sharing that recipe!
Becky,
Just wanted you to know how great Vivian Grothe is. When I got my 365 kit is was short one sheet protector. I e-mailed her and she was willing to let me come pick one up. Obviously I am local. She left at the front desk with some other goodies. She is the best customer service person ever. Your lucky to work with her.
Also, love the cafe rio salad. I have this recipe and its delicious. We warm a drained can of black beans to layer over the rice (a little protein and fiber never hurt anyone). We also make a mango salsa with 1 mango, 2 avacados, 2 limes juiced, and 1 Tbs. cilantro chopped. Mix it together and chill. Put it on top of the salad.
I am so going to the store and making this soon.
Kathi in Utah
Alicia - I don't print at Costco, but I order from Snapfish. They give me the option at checkout for the 4x6 or a "true digital" print that doesn't crop, although the size is a bit smaller. is that an option for you?
Carrie
Is it crazy that I have these exact items in my home, not being used???? Now they have a purpose!!! Thank you!
I love photo on you kissing Claire, just curious what size that photo is?
Thanks for the great answers! Just one or two more. Where do you get your black and white photos printed? If you do your own , what kind of printer do you have? I have had trouble getting real crisp, clear b and w photos.
Thanks again!
Sharon in Pittsburgh
I love the photo display...they are very clean and simple. Your colors in the home office are super too...love the black and "green-ish" color. Thanks for sharing.
Love your photos, I'm going to try this on my wall.
Gotta to share something funny, Sorry its about the Project 365. Got the email that I was getting the kit. Was charged for the kit. Got the tracking number. Got the box today, with nothing inside. I called the number on the invoice and they said it was back ordered, they would credit my account for the empty box and 2 weeks in February they would be sending more kits out and would recharge my account and send me the kit. I laughed so hard, then took a picture of the empty box and you quessed it that was my photo of the day. I have been doing the project 365 and will continue. Just thought I would share a smile.
Sue B.
Joann online has these frames for a great price right now. Just search clip frame. For 3.99 you can get 5 4x6, 4 5x7, or 3 8x10.
Becky love the frames. I have a question, I have one of your video's and was wondering what type of paper cutter is that that you are using? Thanks
Gorgeous! I have a bunch of frames waiting to be painted black and hung up, but I'm dragging my feet. I should get in gear!
Becky,
I have been taking my picture of the day and having no little ones at home, I have to search for what to take. Today my picture is of all the "stuff" I am taking to a crop weekend tomorrow. What a job to haul all that...might not have just what you want. I love the idea and working on my own kit since I didn't get one. Not giving up though...hopefully they will be available and would love for them to become a regular product.
Thanks for all your help and dedication. You are a precious lady.
Sheryl
Hey Becky and all, I thought I would mention that I'm raffling off the second 365 kit that I ordered. I originally thought I would have one for next year but when I committed to The 3 Day, I knew how I was going to use the kit. (I'm also really glad that since so many got left shorthanded, someone else will get to enjoy a kit.) Perhaps you'd want to consider making a donation to help support my 60 mile walk for breast cancer research and in turn be entered into a raffle for my second kit. Details Here: http://www.reflectivesnapshots.com/blog/archives/31
These kits arrived this week and I'm so in love with the way this all works. It's cool to see a week at a time.
ChurchGirl- I'm sure they will charge you twice for shipping. Once for an empty box and once for your real kit, if it ever comes. Love that you can laugh! It's so pathetic! Apparently now e-mails have gone out to people telling them their account will be credited until their kit ships and they already have a kit!!! I, on the other hand, have been told two times on the phone that I'd be credited and recharged when the kit ships. Have I been credited? Oh, of course not. Did I get this e-mail saying I'd be credited? Of course not. If CK or the holding company or whoever would just do EXACTLY the opposite of what they are doing now, they'd probably have perfection! Now I'm truly LOL!!
Becky thank you for sharing all the P365 ideas that you and others are sharing...they're inspiring!
But, would it be at least possible to get an idea on when they will let us know if they plan to reorder? It has now been 20+ days (almost a month) since the initial problems with the kit. I've looked into alternative approches and they're simply too costly/time consuming. I think some finality would be sincerely appreciated by those of us that were not able to order the kit. Thanks again for all your help. Laura
Oh, I just love that display, what a fun and easy idea! Thanks for sharing. Oh, and the recipe sounds so yummy!
Becky,
Thank you for being so generous in answering all of our questions, big and small. Thank you for opening your home and your hearts to us. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas!!! Your website is truly inspiring to me. I don't get any magazines anymore (except CK!) because the things I truly love are all covered on here. If you ever went out on your own, you would have an instant following. When I make a new meal, my husband says "Is this a Becky Higgins recipe?" :) Yup! Cause I know everyone in my family will love them! You have helped me grow in all the "domestic" and photographic areas of my life and me and my family thank you for it!
Oh, I was going to ask you. Do you or one of your "techy" brothers know how to restore photos from a website back to their original sizes? So sad! My computer crashed this fall and I lost my oldest daughter's first day of kindergarten pictures! We have a family website and I did post them on there. But when I try to print from there they are too small. Can anyone help me???? I'd SO appreciate it.

Thanks for a great, informative blog.
Thanks for the great idea on photo displays. I am always on the hunt for new ones. Check out my blog for how I just displayed a photo using an old window:

And I am glad I wasn't the only one who didn't receive my package correctly. I got my box yesterday and it should have included 5 kits (for myself and 4 friends) along with the PaperGourmet book. Instead it only contained the book and NO kits, although the invoice said they were included. Unlike the previous poster, I was told they would get them resent next week. Not sure I really believe that....
Good thing the PaperGourmet book is AWESOME to keep me busy until the kits arrive. We have our first "p365 club meeting" next Saturday and I hope we have the kits by then but not counting on it....
Wow, this is absolutely the cutest!! I can't wait to do something like this. AND it's time for a trip to IKEA anyway:)
BTW, I am a little late to the party, but I'm just putting my 2 cents in that I would also like 2 of the "Project 365" kits if you can ever get a re-order. FYI, I'll be checking faithfully to see if it happens.
Hi Becky, thought I'd ask you, because in the Netherlands the rumours are going that CK is going to quit with the magazine. Can't imagina that that is truly the case, but I thought to check it with you. Can you clear this? Thanks so much in advance! Greetings, Christa (you can email me on chalbesma@gmail.com )
Wal-mart has clip, frameless frames cheap!
And shelves similar... they have them at most home stores.
We have Menard's around here, and they have a similar inexpensive wood shelf-just needs 2 screws, and you line them up end to end. :)
Still hoping and waiting for more Project 365 kits. I thought I purchased a kit and the order didn't go through online. PLEASE know customers are still wanting to purchase these kits.

Becky -
I also had problems with my shipment. It got to a UPS Center in Hodgkins,IL and then fell off the radar. It has now been 2 weeks since the scheduled delivery date and everyday I keep hoping today will be the day it magically arrives!! Seems like quite a few weird things happening in the shipping process??!!
Hi Becky, I was just wondering if you were going to be at CHA? I'll be there on Sunday (my 1st time ever!) and would LOVE for my 365 picture for that day to be with you! Sorry for how stalkerish that sounds LOL Hope to see you there!
I am exhausted reading all the comments about 365. I used your free download to start mine. I printed the set for each month on a different color cardstock so it would not look so repetative. Blu for Jan, red for Feb, purple for March, etc. This also unifies my months. If CK does reprint the kit I will buy one and probably move all my stuff to it because I loved the artwork of it, but if not, then I can move on with what I'm doing.
Annett-
I saw your comment on Becky's blog about your lost pictures and now you only have small sizes. I just read a question sort of like this in my digital photography magazine, and they said if your pictures are in JPEGs, which I assume they are, then you can use a "fractal upsizer such as onOne's Genuine Fractals Print Pro" to get your image to a larger pixel size. I am no techie and don't know much about that, but you may want to do a search on this for more information. The downside is probably the cost of that software. Another idea, although your results may vary, is to print your images on good matte (NOT glossy) photo paper in the size that gives them the clearest resolution, even if that is very small. Then find a good place with nice natural light (you may have to search your house and see what time of day and where this might be) so that you won't need a flash and still have nice light that is not too harsh and not reflecting off the surface of your photo. With your camera, zoom in on your print and take a picture of it as close as you can with good focus. Try to be very steady and also make sure you shoot straight on. (If you have a tripod, you may even want to tape your photo to a wall and use that.) You then will have a full-size picture even though it's a picture of a picture, you will have print quality. This may take a few tries, but once you get it on one photo, the others may go fast. You can always crop out external stuff (like you got some of the floor or whatever in your shot) around the edges in photoshop or when you order your print. This sounds a little crazy, but it just might work to get good 4x6s from your little pictures.
Hi Becky - In your December blog, you showed us the gift bag toppers you made for Porter's birthday. Did you print them on a pre-scored paper from Avery or something? I would love to do this for my girls for Valentine's Day, but I just wanted to know what paper you used. Thanks!
Hi Becky,
I managed to find an Album today that I can use for my Project 365. I have used the downloads - Thanks (I hope there will be a few more) I also incorporated pieces of the school expansion pack. I am so thrilled that I am doing it and the kit would have been great but hey, creativity is far more rewarding!
I have posted a picture of one of my pages on my blog:

Keep on at it. lets see where we are on day 197?

Question? I was wondering how to make all the printing of the free project 365 jpg's affordable? I was thinking about it and that is A LOT of printing to do? or is there going to be announcement soon about new kits being made? I would appreciate it if your has any ideas about how to print things efficiently so it won't break the bank. Thanks
Becky.. I just made your stuffed mushrooms for my husband and I along with some shrimp scampi. YUM!! (our teenage boys were out for the night so we could enjoy a little fancier feast than usual ;) ) Thanks for sharing
I am still hoping that you will make the Project 365 kit available in a digital version. I really like being able to type up my journaling and print it with my photos. Actually, I am copying and pasting the journaling from my blog into the journal boxes you made available to us. It makes it super easy! Thank you so much for the free downloads, but I would actually be willing to buy more of them to have more variety. Thanks for all that you have been doing! :)
Becky,
I don't know if you actually get these comments or if someone filters through them for you, but I just found your site. I love it. I don't know if you remember me or not. You got me out to an RS scrapbooking activity. I think you even gave me a few things to get me started since I had never done it before. Thanks! I love the project 365 idea, wish I would have heard about it earlier, but I'll do it next year. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi! Mike and I would love to hear from you and David and what your family is up to. You can catch up with us at seesomeisoms.blogspot.com
You amaze and impress me :)
~Kiersten Isom
Well I did it.. I broke down and bought one off Ebay. It was more affordable as it doesn't include the page protectors and the date stamp. I can buy my own date stamp and I thought I would go and by the 4x6 protectors that have 6 per page at my LSS and then sew the bottoms. I think I read on one of the million comments that someone had done this and it had worked perfectly~here's hoping. I was just wishing so much for a re-print but my impatience got the best of me:) Here's to putting together my P365 in about 6-10 days!!
Becky,
Do you know when they are going to figure out who has a kit and who doesn't and whether there will be a reorder?
My credit card was charged on 1/1. I do not have a kit yet. I have an invoice with the description being blank. I called CK this past Friday. I ended up speaking to two customer service reps. They could not find my order in the computer even though I gave them an order number. A supervisor was going to look into it and call me. I did not get a call back on Friday.
I don't feel that it should take this long to figure out who has a kit and who doesn't. You would think after the fiasco on 1/1 that they would have figured all of this out the following week. Here we are 3 1/2 weeks away from the order date and we don't know any more than we did on the 1/1.
Becky - I know that this is not your fault. I'm just hoping that you can use your contacts to give those of us without a kit yet an update.
Thanks.
Sooooooooooooo CUTE! thanks for the tips.
Becky,
Can you share where you go for printing your photos? I am wondering if since you are such a Costco girl if you use their photo printing? Thanks!

What's the deal? Still no word.
Are you going to make more kits or not?
I have subscribed to your magazine for several years now and am extremely unhappy with this whole fiasco.
What's even more frustrating is NO WORD out of Creating Keepsakes. I have read "We are working on it." That's not good enough. What does that mean? Will we EVER have another opportunity to order this kit?
Information would be good here.

Hi Sharon,
Due to our production process and the way the KOTM program works, we order kits according to what we project our requests will be. We are always working a few months in advance. While we knew this kit would be popular, we were simply overwhelmed by the demand for Project 365. All this interest even caused the website to crash. Now, as you see, we have sold out in just a few short hours—a new record. We are just as excited as you are about this amazing concept and we want you to be able to save your year’s worth of memories with this wonderful kit. We hear your demands and are making all efforts to have a game plan in place to order more soon.
Please know that the frustrations you’ve expressed do not fall on deaf ears. We do hear them as we try to improve the process each time.
Please be patient and stay tuned to Becky’s blog and the KOTM blog for additional information as soon as it becomes available. She also has some free downloads available here:

Vivian,
Thank you for your response. However, I'm still hearing the same ole, same ole. "We . . . are making all efforts to have a game plan in place to order more soon." What efforts? What game plan? What is your definition of soon?
Not trying to shoot the messenger here - just trying to get some concrete answers. I still don't have an answer to the most important question, "Will additional kits be available and if so, when?" Even a "yes" and a ballpark estimate would be welcome at this point.
Thanks again for responding so quickly.

Hi Sharon,
I guess to be more precise the answer would be we have no plans to make this kit available in the immediate future. When we wrote the original response we thought we might do a re-print but that is not an option right now. That’s not to say we wouldn’t do it in a year’s time or something.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions or comments.
Thanks,

So, there you have it. No more kits - and they're still promoting it in the dadgum sidebar.
I support Becky Higgins 100% - she should start her own magazine. I am extremely grateful for the free download and am making do, because I can!!!! I have had several friends who are not scrapbookers look at my album and say, "I want one of those." Well maybe someone else can come up with something similar - Becky?????
I will NOT renew my subscription to CK (I'll just wait and buy them for $1 at my LSS when they have a "Trash to Treasure" sale.)
For those of you on "backorder," I wouldn't hold my breath.
Sharon,
I don't know how you did it but thanks for the info you got from Vivian at CK Media.
I wish she would pass her knowledge on to the customer service reps.
The truth sometimes hurts, but now that we have it (I hope, see the doubt) we can go on and make our own "365 kits". I have been holding off for that "just in case I get mine in the mail". I will now go and make my own.
No more of my $'s will be spent at Creating Keepsakes, Mag, Kit of the month & DVD's. I will not send my $'s to someone that I can not trust. The truth came too late for this scrapper.
Becky, I love your stuff, you seem like a person with integrity. Put your God first, then family and if you have any other time left put your wonderful talent with another company that will show the type of integrity you have through this mess.
Many blessing to you!
Sue B.
hi becky, i just want to say that your project 365 idea brought me out of the scrapbooking slump. i didn't get hold of the kit (i was on vacation then), but i am improvising using the supplies i already have. thank you!

This is not regarding Becky, who is creative and worked hard in customers' favor. Thank you, Becky.
But regarding CKMedia, those still frustrated, especially people who have gotten EMPTY boxes, charged too much and not refunded, received a statement on their credit card with the charge and still no kit, etc., file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As you can see, CKMedia is not doing so hot with the BBB. They are not accredited, but they are reviewed here:
http://utah.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=139&bbb=1166&firm=22172192
The complaint is sent to the BBB and the company contacted with your complaint. So come mid-Feb, even if you have finally gotten a kit (I'm on backorder but not very hopeful at this point), tell the BBB and company your experience and hopefully this will save some others the pain of the KOTM in general.
I wish it weren't so but it's a tough economy, time for stellar customer service for companies to stay alive, not a time for ill-response and and miscommunication, to say the least. *sigh* I actually have loved CK in all its facets for years, but it's a stark reality of sadness that they have disappointed so many with not just a computer glitch (that happens) but horrible customer service.
Just wanted to let you know I am loving the Project 365. It is great. I think of it as a photo diary. It will be great to look back at the year.
Holy cow, love the photo display. I'm glad someone asked you the details. Looks really great, Becky!
this is a wonderful display. I may have to add one to our office. thanks for the inspiration
I'm putting my vote in for another printing of 365, too! I just checked out January 2009 CK from the library and LOVE the idea. I'm only a year late!! Please, please, print some more! :-)
This is my first time on your blog...love it already
