what you see on your TV
Speaking of taking a picture of the TV, here are a couple more photo ideas to turn the wheels in your head and get you thinking about different ways to document your life.
Fellow blog reader, Keri G took this:

And this one is from Debi B:

Neither one of these pictures really needs explanation. Whether your TV is used for the daily news, your favorite drama series, or a game system, snap a picture of what you see.

I just took a picture of us playing the wii, and our characters last night. I didn't get a kit, but am thinking about doing it anyways. If not I still want to document our wii play, and our wii miis.
Ah, playing the wii! Great ideas here...keep them coming!
I just snapped a picture of the TV too

I wish it had been a wii though!
Hi Becky,
Love all the great Project 365 ideas, but how about photos of our favorite recipes. You know, the ones we have every so often that have become a family favorite. Speaking of, do you have any new recipes to share?

Becky,
I would like to know a good way to get better lighting for food photos. A flash washes out the food, overhead lights leave shadows, how do you do it Becky?
Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Thanks...Joan
I've been having a great time with Project 365 so far and want to say 'thank you' for the idea and inspiration.
I've been posting my photos and journalling on facebook. My friends are enjoying keeping up with my photos as well.
In addition to taking photos of things on TV, I plan to take a few of the computer screen -- for example my friend in England and I Skype together nearly every morning. That will be a photo one day!

My photo was more of what sits below our tv...each family member has some kind of niche...dh has ps2, kids have wii, and mommy...scrapbooks!!! Check out my blog-
http://theakohlhepp.blogspot.com has my photo of the "family entertainment center!" LOL!
Just a comment for those who print their own digital photos for scrapbooks and Project 365. I found sometime ago that Costco's Kirkland Signature brand of shiny photo paper is BY FAR the best I have ever used. I mean, truly the BEST. I have used other brands, Kodak included, that cost a lot more money. I find the photos stay tacky for hours or even days. I can't put the photos into sheet protectors right away, that's for sure, or they stick to the plastic. Costco photo paper dries immediately and has a perfectly smooth surface that produces gorgeous photos. It's a heavy weight paper and comes in boxes of 150 sheets. At Costco.com it is $20.44/box.
The only problem I have is that one of my cats loves the finish on it for some reason and manages to find every scrap in my scrap bin and licks the surface. Then, when I need a little scrap for something I find lick prints all over it. I'm thinking I better store those scraps in a locked drawer. She is a crafty one!

Tuesday I took a picture of my computer screen with my school system's announcement saying school was cancelled.
On the 10th, I included my computer screen (when I'd finished up a game online) in my daily photo while stuck in bed sick to document the boring stuff I do while ill.
I need to make sure to get a picture of House... Definitely. Great idea!
And, a layout to share (not using the kid, but my own 12x12" double-page spread) for the week of Jan 4-10: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/221573/view/1938769/-1/0/1.html
I've chosen to select one collection (for January it's Tinkering Ink's Yuletide collection) for each month to maintain unity, and then work from there.
i have used television images before in my photojournaling. i like these as well. thank you for sharing your 365 ideas as well as some from your readers.
i linked your blog to my post today that shares my photo for January 21.

who would have thought that condensation on the window from airconditioning on a hot day would look so interesting? Glad I recorded it...glad I will remember it.

Hello, I know at least 12 women who are taking pictures and hoping that they make more 365 kits. We should flood the site so, they know we want them. Right now the word is that they are not making more. Let's let them know that we WANT them.
