children, cross-stitch patterns, & a give-away

A few random things to start off this week:

[another home decor idea]

You were once a child, too. You are more likely to remember this — and you’re kids are more likely to believe that it’s true — if you have pictures from your childhood in your home. Kids or no kids, I think we all need reminders that we were once children. This is a little corner outside our laundry room. And that’s me & David, when we were little.

[cross-stitch patterns]

For those of you interested in those patterns that my mom used for the projects, this information (which my mom got from the back of the pamphlets) might be helpful in your search:

ANGEL: All Thru The Year by Heart to Hand Designs
Pamphlet #131, Cardiff by the Sea
(760) 942-5948 (California)

MONTH PILLOWS: Wreath For All Seasons
Pamphlet #3, Fanci That Designs
(Columbus, Ohio 1986, 1989)

[online valentines class]

Candice Stringham is doing an online class, where you can make a Valentines garland, complete with 14 days of fun activities. Click here to check it out (it’s only $5.59 right now!). Candice would like to give away this class to someone. Leave your first name & where you live in the Comments and I’ll choose a random winner to announce on Tuesday.
