I found this old, painted, rustic-looking crate at a boutique years ago and immediately fell in love. I had an instant vision for using it and knew that it would hang on my wall … somewhere, somehow.
And today, it hangs on a small wall in our guest room. The quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson: “The ornament of a home is the friends who frequent it.”
