I leave you today with a really fun anecdote. This is Shelley Rae from Wisconsin. She hasn't cut her hair in 3 years. She wrote to CK recently, to comment on how much she enjoyed the March issue of CK, with all the organizational ideas. And she added that it was my haircut that finally inspired her to cut her hair. She did it! She cut off 16 inches (1/2 pound) and is enjoying her new, stylish, lighter hair now! Go Shelley Rae. You go with that new, cute do.

Thank you, Becky for the update on the Project 365. I received an email last night regarding my order.
It does not surprise me that Shelley decided to cut her hair like yours. I actually, cut mine short like your back in January '08.
You are definitely a fashion icon for me. Thank you.
Marta :)
So glad for the people who are waiting for their kits. They will not be disappointed- I love it!
Becky, you mentioned several times that you are mostly doing the Project 365 concept now for scrapbooking. What about your kids birthdays, Xmas, vacations, events...? Do you still do traditional pages for those? Those events would certain warrant more than one photo.
I love your blog!
Erin
I got my shipment notification e-mail yesterday! I'm so excited to FINALLY have the kit in my hands!
Actually Becky, you did such a great job in the customer service department by keeping us informed about what was going on. I'm sure the whole thing was just as frustating for you. Thanks for a great kit and for caring about us customers!
Becky,
I got my email yesterday about the 365 kit, so excited! I hope this ONE incident does not discourage you or CK's KOTM team from continuing such a great project. I have purchased many of the kits and have been happy with all of them. THANK YOU!
Hope you are feeling better, we are in need of some Spring here in VA, the illnesses have been horrible in my children's schools.
Thanks,
Andrea J
PS Love the haircut on Shelley Rae hope you see this girl, looks good on you, so cute!!
Glad the kits are shipping! Get well soon Becky.
To my fellow blog readers: I remember seeing a 2 page layout where Becky compares her first and second pregnancies/labor in an idea book. I would like to buy the book but don't know which book it was. Can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks.
Ha! I'm getting my hair cut just like your cover in two weeks! Love it! You are competely adorable, Becky.
Just wondering, has it been officially said that there will not be any more of this particular kit made available for purchase?
Cute haircut! Hang in there Becky and take your tme.

Cute Hair Cut!
Feel better soon!
Great cut!
Hope you are back to your normal energetic self soon!

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I love the Project 365 idea. Love Love Love it! With 4 kids, keeping a event based scrapbook is daunting. But I can manage Project 365 SO much better. I didn't get my shipment with the first wave but I've been taking pictures and jotting which ones go with which days in a notebook. I am excited to assemble them.
I HOPE that all the negative comments CK received about the back order doesn't keep you from doing this again next year and the year after that. I am committed to the project and hope to buy more in the future. I am curious as to what your thoughts are on it. Will you do it again next year? Will you sell more kits at some point (I have many friends who want to do it too)?
Thanks for inspiring me and helping me feel like I am recording a daily snapshot of our lives!
Same question as Emily: Do we have any chance of still being able to get a kit? Are they going to re-order any?? I am dying to get my hands on one...but refuse to give any of my money to people who bought one just so they could RIP OFF a fellow scrapbooker on e-bay! (Can you tell that is one of my pet peeves??)
Thanks for all that you do! I love your work and you are such an inspiration to all of us!
Curious how your 365 is going??? Have you posted your photos someplace like flickr?? or do you have a separate blog set just for the 365 photos....
Hi Becky
Thanks for the contact information. I have emailed that address twice trying to find out information about your holiday card kits to use for next year, once before Christmas and once since you posted the info a second time, but have never gotten a reply from them :( I am from Australia, and am trying to find out how much delivery would be etc. before I know whether I can place an order by phone (have figured out the time difference so know when to call etc but want to have all the info before ringing an international number). I know you don't have anything to do with that side of things, I just wanted to pass on the info that I am having difficulty getting an answer back from that email address.
Thanks
Tan
I agree - Moms shouldn't have to get sick. Ever. I hope that you are feeling 100% soon, and able to whip through those backlogged "chores" :)
Question for fellow bloggers and "do it yourself" Project 365-ers: If you are using the journaling cards so graciously provided as downloads, how are you dealing with the 'extra' day - i.e. you would need 4 of the 4x6 .jpg's for journaling blocks across the bottom of your page, so you would be printing/showing 8 days of individual journaling blocks. Does this make sense? I think it's difficult to explain. Hopefully you'll understand what I'm attempting to ask coherently :) I'm currently using PSE to edit one of the blocks out with a solid color, but I'm not sure I really like the results and am just curious as to what others are doing for this . . .
I got my P365 kit (luckily) the first time around and I am enjoying the process more and more as time goes by. Yeah, I know I could have made my own, but I really appreciate you having packaged it all together with everything coordinating. Makes it so easy to just record the memories.
Congrats to everyone getting theirs now. I think y'all will really enjoy them.
I hate to hear about the financial troubles at CK. They may not be a perfect company but they are a major player in this hooby we all love. I'd hate to see them go - it would have a very negative trickle-down on the whole industry.
I know it must be troubling to you. I'm sorry for that.
Becky--
Thanks for your continued support of the Project 365 kit. I checked that blog daily and since I still can't get a kit, I am enjoying doing it digitally now. That was a great idea! I hope you create another one for next year with a different color scheme. Love it!
Lisa this is what I've done for the extra space on the bottom. I use one of the 4x6 colored cards or the "Week of" ones and trim it down to the same size as the journaling cards. I just make sure I don't get the "week of" words on it. Works great for that extra space. This also give you some different colores to use in that extra space. Then you still only have to have one week in section.
Hi Becky
I posted a message on your previous post regarding my Baby Kit order. I understand that you are not customer service and are unable to do anything regarding personal orders. But as I stated in my previous comment I emailed customer service and have not had any contact apart from a confrimation of receipt email. It is disappointing that I have no other avenues left now to make further enquiries. I cannot make an international phone call as I am a fulltime working mother of 2 boys and I can not afford that cost either. I agree with Tania (another Aussie) who posted earlier that the email contact is not working. I guess if US scrappers have had difficulties with their orders what hope is there for international scrappers who have difficulties. None I guess. Sorry to vent but I am extremely disappointed with CK Media. I have had a subscription with the magazine for 3-4 years and enjoy receiving my magazine. I don't think I'll continue with my subscription which is a shame because I love the magazine. I will continue to email them and see what communciation I get.
what a cute haircut and I am sure you love it. Becky hope you feel better soon.
I'd be interested in buying an extra kit (if anyone is wanting to part with it.) Please contact me at eagle.suarez@gmail.com. Thanks, Eden
I feel like a stalker, but I wanted to comment on the gal who is doing the free downloads. I am also doing it this way and am so glad, because I only use what I need, won't have a bunch of extra stuff laying around and have had a ball with the extra space in the bottom of the page. Also, I always do 8 journalling blocks at a time. For an example of what I am doing, go to www.threadsandscraps.blogspot.com. It is all from the free download and I decorate how I want. Enjoy and please comment so I know someone is seeing it. Hope it gives you inspiration.
by the way, I said I feel like a stalker because I have commented on Becky's site twice directing you to my blog and on the KOTM blog twice for the same reasons. I just want to encourage the discouraged people out there who didn't get a kit....there is a way...go for it and just do it, I know I had to.
I'm so stinking excited that my Project 365 has shipped!! AND I ordered a We R Memory Keepers album that you suggested. They should both be here about the same time!! WOW, am I going to have some work to catch up on!! I'm also a fan of your adorable haircut!!
Becky, I enjoy your recipes! I was wondering if you could add an index to your receipe blog like, salads, main dishes, etc. to make it easier to find things?
Thanks!
becky....hope you are feeling better. the "creeping crud" seems to have creeped across the entire country...on the upside, SPRING is coming :)
i've been meaning to ask how you've adapted your scrapbooking (& whether you still develop your photos @ Costco) since digital photos from Costco are now NOT exactly 6 inches in diameter. in your sketches book there were SO MAY layouts with two 4x6 photos side by side on a 12x12 page, filling the entire diameter...which i'm not sure is possible anymore if you get your photos professionally printed. I trust Costco (i've never had a problem with them)...but am wondering if there are other sites that are still printing their digital photos in TRUE 4x6 form??!
I was so happy to finally hear the backorders were finally in and being shipped. After dealing with my daughter's emergency surgery (she had a scope done and her appendix removed), I needed some good news!
I am so enjoying my 365 Kit and have surprised myself that I've kept up with it so well. I had my doubts about that but it's easy. Love it that hubby gets into the spirit of the project as well.
One thing I've done is sometimes I use a cute sticker or embellishment from my stash on that extra little space card that you put in that 8th journaling card spot on the page. Like when we were having so much flooding and rain in our area, I used my epoxy raindots and an umbrella. During Valentines week I stuck a cute heart on the card.
I so hope you design a new kit, new colors, etc. next year. If not, I may just do my own version. Maybe a new kit as digital downloads would save all the mess that happened this year. Then just make the album cover and pages available for sale. Or the We r Memory Keepers albums and pages should work fine. Also got my first two 3-ring scrapbooks as I saw on your blog and ABSOLUTELY love them and the ease of assembling the book I just finished. I may never go back to post bound.
Feel better soon, Becky.
maybe I'm the only confused one out there - But on your site you call it a backorder and on the KOTM site they call it a pre-order. Did I miss a second chance to pre-order somehow? I've been checking everything at least once a week and don't know how I could've missed that, but now I find myself confused.
I've been having a blast with my 365 digital project and I've decided to add a favorite quote from famous and not so famous people on my weekly layouts, so I'll need at least 52 good one. Please see my layout with my one of my favorite quotes at www.thebroekerbunch.blogspot.com. I'd love to hear yours, so please add it under the comments!
Thanks in advance!
I too was confused about the pre-order verses back order. Did I miss a pre-order somewhere? I would love a kit if anyone has an extra and I would pay a fair price for it ( e-bays are a little steep). Becki , I do think you have been great about all of this. Hope you feel better.

Well, I wish I could be excited about the kit like everyone else. I know you are not in Customer Service Becky but this is where I found out about the 365 kit. I am so so disappointed. My card was charged and nothing was sent back in January. I called to get a refund and it took FOREVER...(don't understand that at all) and I was told I would get my kit mid-Feb. Called Feb 25th and they said they had NO idea when I would get my kit. So, not wanting to wait any longer I cancelled my order. I got an e-mail last week that CK charged my card and sent out my kit. Even when it said my order was cancelled. Since I must have the same bug as you have Becky, today was the first change I have had to call and complain. The cust. service guy, was even surprised that I was charged again when my order was cancelled. Not very comfortable knowing that my card is so easily being used.
I really wish I could be happy about getting a kit but after the poor customer service, I just want my money back...AGAIN!
I too had my card charged the first time and it took a month to have it refunded. So imagine my surprise last week when they charged me again and said a kit was shipped. I got it yesterday. And yes it's great, but I had already started something different. So now I have to decide whether I want to keep it or not. (sigh)
I got my kit today! YAH!! I love it!! Thank you Becky for designing an awesome kit!! Can't wait to add all of my photos I have been putting together!
Becky - hope you are feeling beeter soon. I just wanted to say Thank You for designing such a great KOTM. My Project 365 KOTM arrived this afternoon.

I am happy to say that I have found a home for my extra Project 365 kit.
I would LOVE to buy an extra Project 365 kit if anyone has one! I'm desperately seeking one! Anyone have pity on a busy mama of 3 who is thinkin' this might be the answers to her scrappin' prayers? Pls. email me at kids4gymbo@yahoo.com. I'd appreciate it more than you can imagine! :)
Hi Becky! I would love it if you would take the time to check out my take on Project 365. I was fortunate enough to obtain a kit but wanted to put my own spin on it. I have used large shipping tags and most of the elements of the kit except the binder and the page protectors. I would love to know what you think. You are so creative and I would value your opinion. Plus I would love to share my idea with others who were unable to obtain the kit.
Thanks so much,
Stacy

Hi Becky,
I live out here in Australia, I was wondering if you were possibly thinking of re-releasing your school days kit. I have only just seen them and I can't find them anywhere!!
Thanks
Renai
