four friday favorites

Favorite recent purchase: The Bowler camera bag. Featured in the recent issue of CK, it was love at first sight. You can find it here and it's also on Amazon.

Favorite YouTube find: Piano/cello duet (arrangement by Jon Schmidt). Click here. Just beautiful.

Favorite random photo backdrop: A damask plate. I was taking pictures of my sweet new friend Paige when I saw a damask plate in my kitchen and a heard the *bling* in my head. Lightbulb moment. Big Sister Emily held the plate about 18" behind Paige (who was in her mother's arms) and I love the results.

Time to invest in some damask fabric. It'd be a bit more "full coverage" than the plate. It only worked because Paige is so tiny.

Favorite art: Porter lovingly presented his latest to me. I am told that this is me taking toast out of the toaster for him and it all takes place in my store (appropriately called "Mom"). And that's our garden down in the corner.

I love that camera bag too - it was love at first sight, BUT I could only see it in a magazine article. Can you please let me know how much you can REALLY cram in there?? I have a crumpler right now, and i like it, but the bowler bag is SOOOO much more stylish!! :)

Darling camera bag.

I bet we could find a lot of things around our homes to use as photo backgrounds.

Love Kids Artwork. They can really think ourside the box.

How about a fresh new recipe, hint, hint. Love the cafe-rio salad, brushcetta chicken, etc...

Thank you Becky,

Type above: That would be "outside" the box.

I was just wondering if you will be offering the Project 365 kit again or something along that line? I would LOVE to try this.

Thank you,
DesireƩ

That is a lovely green bow on your head in Porter's picture. I'm sure that's what you generally wear while making toast in the garden. :)

Gorgeous baby and damask plate, but what really caught my eye was the New Zealand apples! They may have even been grown down the road from me, who knows! LOL

Love the damask background. JoAnns has a bunch of different colored backgrounds right now...one very similar to that plate as well. And I think all that stuff goes on sale next week.

The highlight of this entry is Porters drawing. I love it.... Goes to show you Becky, he thinks very highly of you, since he thinks you have your own store to do what you do.. He's one special kid. (Love the bow in your hair, really makes it for me)

HI Becky - I too would like to know how much you can fit in the gorgeous bag (found it here in Aust online, for a great price!) - just the camera - or can an extra lens fit in as well? Look forward to hearing your thoughts!
