POTD: Picture of the Day
I am taking a long time to "catch up" (is there ever such a thing?) on a bunch of stuff. Work, house, laundry, e-mail ... and I'm in charge of the "craft" project at Girls Camp this week. I'll share more on that later.
In the meantime, here are a couple of my Project 365 daily pictures from our time in Maui.

And back at home base ... taken of Porter's bedroom door:

Finally, a little harvest from our banana tree:

Hope you're enjoying your week so far.

I love the bedroom rules. My 4 year old does the same thing!
Wow, I think I'm actually first?! LOL, I LOVE Porter's rules. That is too cute!
Dang, she posted 1 minute before me! haha
I love Hawaii! Hope you had a fun, relaxing time. Porter's rules are priceless. Check out all those bananas! My 2 1/2 yr old is so into banana right now that he'd probably eat all yours in two days. Thanks for sharing.
Holy cow...a banana tree! Being from Chicago, that's about as exotic as you can get!
You have an actual banana tree? That's really cool!
Thank you! These are great. I love your font.
That's the cutest picture of Porter's bedroom door. Love that one!
Love those Hawaii pictures.
Wjo doesn't have a Porters door in there house?!
I can't wait to see your Girls Camp craft!
Glad to see you back!!!
That's so cool you have a banana tree! Can't wait to see what you do at Girl's Camp! I'm a stake assistant director, so I need ideas!
you have a BANANA tree! That is so COOL!!
How do you grow bananas in Phoenix??? It's 115 outside here!
I am loving your combo pictures to show highlights from your trip. I'm going to do the same thing when we go to San Diego in September...thanks for the inspiration, as usual!
Did you separate all the bananas? It looks like it, but thought I'd saehr the tip that they last longer if you separate them.
Plus, if you peel them and then freeze them in plastic bags, they are great to toss into a food mixer for instant banana "ice cream!"
I am so far behind my daily pics and journaling. I might just start over again. I have TONS of photos though, so stories aren't lost...they just aren't documented in in place. In time, in time.
Banana tree in Peoria? I have never heard of that. I live in Peoria also and I enjoyed my tomatoes but now will check into a banana tree.. that is so cool
Carol
Check out how Claire's swimsuit colors are similar to all the shades of blue "stripes" in the water and sky! That is a really cool picture!
A banana tree! Oh, how I would love to be able to say I lived in a place warm enough to grow a banana tree!
..."Mom, can I have a snack?"..... "Sure, go pick a banana!!!"
Very Cool.....
ok, the bedroom door rules list is so cute!! my kids do the same thing! But what a cute idea to add the journaling on the photo. gonna have to do that!
Excited to see your banana harvest! We just finished some landscaping and have a banana tree ready to plant. They are suppose to do well even down here in Yuma, AZ!
Would love to see the girl's craft!!!
Tomatoes,bananas...what else is in your backyard? :) Nothing can beat homegrown veggies. BTW, I'm still going strong with my POTD. And I absolutely love your CK Aug. article. I love the divided page protectors. I bought a couple from Archiver's and it is by WRMK and cannot wait to do it. Thanks a lot.

I was wondering if you could give us gift ideas for friends, kids and relatives. I am always looking for new ideas and you always have great ones. Just in case you were looking for something to blog about. One gift idea I use is a friend who makes painted plates. I give here a picture of someones home and she paints it on the plate. It's gourgeous and a great keepsake.
Becky I am currently working on my daughter's baby book with the baby kit from last year. Would you be willing to post some layouts from Crew's baby book so I can get a few ideas? THANKS!
Danielle Rae
wow, my friend and I were doing ok and the 365 thing w/o a kit, but then a "minor" family emergency hit, and then another 48 hours later. everything was a blur for about 3 weeks. the 365 thing lost all importance... enjoy what you have, it may be snatched in a heartbeat...
Hi Becky,
I was just wondering if you could share how you make the photo collages featured for June 30th and July 3rd??? Is that photoshop? And if so... which version.
Thanks and I LOVE your blog and everything you share. You are an inspiration. Thanks.
