Day 1, 2010.

Hello, 2010. Goodbye Christmas decorations.

Admittedly, I love taking them down just as much as I love putting them up. The house always feels sooo clean and open and organized again. But there is one decoration that stays up. My favorite decoration. The Christmas cards linger for a couple extra weeks … or months … depending on my mood.

I love seeing friends & family plastered all over the wall. Seriously. Know what else I love? The fact that we (it was a family effort, even if I did 99% of the work) just completed the challenge of taking a picture every single day in 2009. So did many of you. Yay, us! The kids have been looking back at the pictures a lot lately and I’m just so grateful that we have this book. The story-telling is more accurate, more telling, more revealing, and more interesting than any other scrapbooking I’ve ever done in my life.

And way less stressful.

Go, Project Life!

  3. Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.

  4. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.
