thursday update
Hello fine Project Lifers ... and any & all friends popping onto my blog today. : )
Staying in touch with a few quick notes today:
1. The monthly bookmarks in the Project Life kit have a thin protective layer on them. These are meant to be peeled off. Like this.
PS - I'm borrowing this picture from something I posted on my blog a year ago, so it's NOT a part of the Project Life kit. But the peeling off the plastic thing ... same idea.
2. If you want to implement "regular" 12" x 12" or even 8.5" x 11" page protectors in this album, go for it. The rings are situated so that you can do that with most standard page protectors.
3. New Zealand & Australia customers: You will soon be receiving your orders! My understanding is that those will begin shipping to you from Wellington this week.
4. Yes, the digital Project Life and the availability of the original Project Life kit on Amazon.com are still coming. We are working hard to make both of these dates as soon as possible, but need to be sure all the details are fine-tuned and in place.

I received my kit last night! I'm so excited!
I am SO excited about the digital kit! Can't wait!
I got my kit in Pennsylvania yesterday!! I am so excited to print some pictures so that I can start to put my pages together!! Yippee!!!
I wanted to let you know how smooth and stress-free this ordering process has been for me.
Unbeleivable to think that a newbie (to the online order thingy)such as yourself can pull this off without a hitch, at least that we know of is fantastic! After the tears and frustration of last year people could take a lesson from you.
Thanks again for this beautiful kit, got mine 2 days ago, LOVE what I see so far. Gonna get #2 when it hits amazon ....shhhh birthday gift , dont tell :)

In case anyone has read this far, I want everyone to know that Becky went so far as to PERSONALLY call my mom to clarify her order! Mom had ordered 3 to one address and 1 to a 2nd address and Becky went out of her way to make sure this was correct.
This will make our Project Life experience all the better. We already have a good feeling about it now.

I finally got my book completely assembled last night. It took longer than I thought to get all those journaling blocks in (especially because I wanted to make sure I got the ones with numbers down the sides on an appropriate day, so I had my calendar by my side and the cards in little piles all around me...) But I'm glad I got it all done now. I think it will make a difference in my following through with this project since I am horrible at sticking with projects. I also have my first week of photos in. I'm excited as a newbie 365er.

I love the concept of Project Life for tracking the first year of a babies life!!! Wondering if you intend to do a version that would be more specific to babies??? I like the current design but would prefer something with more of a baby theme. Lot's of babies coming up among friends and family and this would be a perfect shower gift.

Becky, thanks so much for the updates regarding Amazon. I missed ordering here and can't wait for it to become available again! I'm keeping up with the photos and journaling, but am anxious to have a home for them!
Just got my kits yesterday. I'm so excited! I spread them out (along with your baby kit I've been saving) and started putting everything together. (showed a pic of it all laid out on my blog - www.kennyanderin.blogspot.com)

I'm so annoyed....my Project Life kit came ON TIME, INTACT, and PERFECT. On a day when I have plans for the evening so I can't play with it or take pictures of myself opening the box to send.

This is KILLING ME!!! I had to have my kit shipped to my mom in the US (to save on shipping) but now I have to wait until Feb. to open it up! It has been delivered, thanks Becky for great customer service and updates! I am going to stay on track by saving the pics in a PL folder sub-categorized into weekly folders and my journaling is in a word document that I update nightly. I am caught up so far-lol!

Just got a Purolator shipping notification up here in Canada!!! Called the number to track it, but they didn't have anymore info to give me on when it will be delivered. But it's on it's way!!!! eeeeeeeee!!!

Did anyone else get a tracking number but still no tracking info? says it is supposed to be delivered tomorrow but states it still has not left!
I am in Canada too and I got a tracking number from Purolator in Vancouver. I am a BC girl so it should be only a day or two. YIPPEE!!! So very excited.

I was just curious to know, that those of us who received damaged binders, if we'll be able to get them replaced eventually? I know right now the main focus is making sure everyone gets their orders.. but futuristically, any chances of a replacement?

I have notification in Alberta Canada too. Shipping to Canada does not have to be a hassle. Contact corvette central to model their business. Their shipping is flawlessly perfect.
I started taking a picture a day Jan. 1st and had no idea what I was going to do with them. I just stumbled on Project Life and my question was answered. Love how the Universe always provides the answer to your question. I eagerly await it's availability on Amazon. Thank you Becky, once again you have helped me with my scrapbooking. I am a fan for life.
Becky - I got my kit and was so excited to start...but then I realized that I'm lacking inspiration. Maybe it's because I'm a super-busy mom of 3 young boys! If you've started yours, would love it if you could share some of your pages!
SillyStamper - I also have had my Fedex Tracking number since Tuesday morning, but it still only says "shipment information sent to FedEx", it doesn't appear to have actually shipped yet. Disappointing! I was hoping to have this tomorrow!

They haven't yet received their order so they will NOT be dispatching this week
When they do dispatch they will not be providing tracking numbers
They are saying 10-21 days to reach Australia.
So we Aussies may not get ours until the very end of the month...

I see no reason to subscribe to CK now that you are gone, which is fine. But is there any chance you'd be willing to share a sketch a month on your new blog??

don't stop the interantional shipping Becky...I think we are more than happy to have the opportunity to purchase your kits, even if there is a premium for doing so...not your fault that it costs us extra,
Just curious how everyone is putting their kits together... are you inserting the journal cards in every page now or not until you journal on them?

ARRGGH!!! I got my notice saying it was due the 9th! Kept checking, didn't seem to be going anywhere! Checked this morning...now it's due the 13th! Not sure what happened...not upset...just disappointed...cuz on the 13th I'll be at WORK! Pooey!

Well my girl, Ami C. got hers in Loch Sheldrake, NY yesterday when she got home. Yippeee. Another happy camper.
Now, waiting for Amazon to pick up your remainder inventory so I can get a few more. I have decided that I could use one for my daycare and not adhere to a POTD, just random photo opts. It could even incorporate more than one year.

Thanks for all of your updates! I'm anxiously awaiting word of the digital kit being ready (yes, I'm signed up for the Becky's Blast!).
I've taken a picture every day and taken journaling notes in my paper calendar. I've even started writing down quotes and things that I like and have added in reminders of certain pictures I'd like to take (like the first day of each season and the tree in our front yard) and things like that!
I'm really excited about this!! It will be the first time for me to do something like this!
I received my kit this week and am so, so excited. A couple of items in my kit arrived damaged. Any chance for these getting replaced in the future?
Not hacked at Becky, but super hacked at fulfillment center and FedEx. Got confirmation that all was go on 1/5 then nothing changed at all until today - now my delivery date is 5 days later than I was told. It's like pushing back Santa by a week....
DH is gone this weekend and I was looking forward to some quality time putting my book together. Ratz.
I am not happy-first I received the tracking number 3 days ago with no updates but scheduled to be delivered today-all of a sudden it shipped YESTERDAY-now wont be here until the 12th and then I was charged another $3.95 for shipping-next year I wont be doing this.
ok that was incorrect info-I was not charge extra shipping-but I am still angry about the delay in shipping.
Silly Stamper...if you reread your first confirmation it states "info sent to FEDEX" meaning they got notification of items to be shipped. It happened to me too...and although disappointed...I think it's FEDEX's system that was misleading! I was expecting mine on the 9th...but now it's the 13th! No biggie...so I go on taking photos and journaling...just means I'll have more to actually put in the book once I get it!

Trust me I feel your frustration...but sometimes things happen beyond anyone's control. If they're getting weather like we are in NE Ohio...I could see why there would be delays...but even if it isn't the weather...things happen, just be happy it's on it's way! not meant to be mean...just helping you see the brighter side =)
So disappointed...I checked FedEx tracking today to make sure it was still on track (Monday's email said it would be here 1/9, Saturday) but today it says it won't be here until the 13th! =(
I understand but this is not the first of the frustration with this process-so I am very justified in my feelings.
I think the process has been really easy this year. I live in Sydney, Australia & I missed out on Project 365 last year. This year the process was so smooth & I'll be receiving my kit next week...& if it's not next week than the one after. Becky & KiwiScraps have been great & did tell us at the beginning that it could take a few weeks. I'm taking pictures, journalling in my diary & loving the process....& I think we all need to remember that the process of preserving our memories is the most important thing, not the product. Becky, you've done an amazing job & I'm looking forward to purchasing many more kits from you in the future. Xxx
