1. I know I’ve been blog-missing for like a week. Really busy time, that’s all. Life is full and blessed.
2. I quite enjoy the very sight of The Container Store. Just putting that out there since I was just there again today. Working on a little home organization (yes, I’ll share more on that soon). Here’s my POTD for today:
3. By the way. Be sure that you’re taking pictures out & about during your errands. Errands might seem mundane and “just a part of life”, but that’s exactly what we should all be recording. Parts of our life. Carry a small point & shoot camera with you at all times. Or use your phone’s camera. Here are a couple other POTDs from last week. Fabric Depot (in Scottsdale, for you locals) and WalMart’s cereal isle.
4. My friend Jaime just launched her food photography website. I don’t know what it is about beautiful food photography, but I just dig it. And Jaime is one of the best, in my opinion. So if you’re up for some eye candy and delish recipes, check it out: www.jaimemormannphotography.com
5. That’s all. More to do. More to blog about later.

I LOVE The Container Store! The thing about The Container Store is that you CANNOT go in there without a purpose, because you will find yourself with a very awesome container in your hands and you will ask yourself, "what can I put in here?"
There is something wonderful and inspiring about the Container Store. My husband and I can go there for date night. Being organized is such a beautiful thing!
I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination. But I love the idea of Project Life…I'm doing the digital version.
And without the push from this project, I would have never take a picture of my dirty clothes basket this morning. There were 5 shirts all peeking out in love soft, sherbet-y colors! It was beautiful!
I have never been to a Container Store! It looks wonderful! Can't wait to see/hear more about your recent organizing project!
Also, Do you know if your videos on your blog will work again? Thanks!
I took photos of the grocery store, work, Wal-Mart, Food Lion and Kroger signs last year (took a couple of weeks to get them all in for a POTD). BUT, I absolutely love the Walmart cerel aisle. This is so cool!
Oooo! I'm so jealous! I have to drive nearly 6 hours to get to the nearest Container Store. Shopping online is not as much fun.
TOTALLY drooling over that shot of the Container Store. I wish I had once close by…but it's probably a good thing that I don't!
Love your blog and Project Life. I have to share what I got last week to make life a little easier – an Eye-Fi card for my camera. It's a memory card that wirelessly uploads my pics to my computer. It requires that both be turned on and within 45 feet of each other. Next thing I know, my pics are in a file on my computer and also uploaded to my shutterfly account. There is a big list of websites to choose from, and I picked shutterfly because they don't delete your photos after a while, so it's easy backup for me. There is an issue between the eye-fi card and Nikon D90 cameras, but you just have to format the card in your camera to fix the issue. Mine is a D90, and it works fine for me after I formatted. Google Eye-Fi to find the best deal. Also, they have a free iphone app that uploads automatically your iphone pics to your computer.
Thanks for the shout out, Becky!
Wish I could have gone to the Container Store with you. I love that place.
I have barred myself from the Container Store, for the simple fact that there is no way I can possibly come in "on budget" at that place. I just want it all!
I see some of your photos in the vertical direction. How do you fit that in? Do you ever run into places where you were asked not to take photos? Just wondering. Thanks!
Not even 2 minutes ago my son informed me that we need more cereal. I immediately flashed to the cereal isle in WalMart and realized I'll be near there today and would be making the dreaded trip. I might just take my POTD there today. It is definitely part of our lives. What I want to know is how you got the picture free and clear of people?
My husband works for The Container Store in their home office and they are a WONDERFUL company to work for! Amazing leaders who promote a fun, caring environment that you can feel all the way to the stores!
Oh how I miss the Container Store….it is heavenly.
Oh how I love the Container Store! But as my husband reminds me often "you need a container for all your containers!"
I've been on a container freeze for over a year now and I'm doing ok with it. Makes me purge old stuff!
I love Jaimie's pictures on her website and blog they are wonderful. I am taking photography classes to learn how to take beautiful pictures of food for my blog @ http://www.delishdelights.com Jaimie's website ia an inspiration.
Oh how I love the Container Store!!! Your pic brought a smile to my face! Thanks for reminding us that our life and its routines are important!
thanks for sharing Jaime's site…there is something so great about just looking at pictures of good old fashion things…like picnics with great food…I just found myself paging through the entire site.
My heart just did a little flutter at the sight of your Container Store photo. Oi! I love storage/organizing stuff.
Becky, my cousin also does amazing food photography and it is food that she bakes!!! You may want to post it for all of your followers to see & check out. Plus you can get yummy recipes off her blog. The address is: http://www.completelydelicious.com/
Not that I don't take pictures EVERYWHERE — but have you ever been told you cannot?? I hostess a photo-a-day challenge on scrapbook.com and several of the ladies there have been asked to leave stores for taking photos! Have you ever heard of such a thing? GASP!!
I maintain listening on the news speak about obtaining free of charge on-line grant software so I have been seeking around with the finest website to get one.
Cool stuff, but the posts don’t display properly on my iPad, perhaps you could check that out. Thanks, anyway.
Happy that you retweeted the post so other people could read
