I’m not IN Toronto, but it’s definitely close enough to make the drive. We have NEVER had a family portrait done – the closest we ever came was a family Christmas pic 10 almost 10 years ago, and that was before my daughter was even born – so she’s not in it! I would love to win this!

Tara was the first person to take pictures of my youngest son, the first person to take our first pics as a family of 5, and the only person I would trust to capture our family the way we really are.

Our family would love the opportunity to enter this contest. We are a family of 2 girls aged 4 and 2.5 and a new baby boy at 4 months. So glad that this contest that there is someone in the GTA. As with everyone else I am also never on the photos and would love to have a family photo including ME!
I wanted to add that we are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this year and would love to have the family photos with my husband in his red serge (RCMP) uniform as when he graduated from the force I had just had our first daughter and couldn’t make it to the grad being that I was in the hospital and really want to capture what is so much of our lives on how he makes us so proud being a Mountie.

They love pretty near Toronto and they have never had ANY professional pictures taken of their family. I live in Ottawa, but my in-laws live in Toronto so we’re often down that way – and we’d make a special trip down that way – to Barrie or where-ever would be convenient for a photo shoot.
We haven’t had any family photos taken since our children were 3 and 4. Now they’re 12 and 13. I’m very envious of a friend who has some gorgeous black and white family candids on her family room wall and would love to have some for on my empty living room wall.
I just had my first look at Tara’s blog – definitely one that I’ve added to the blogs I’ll be following (it’s so nice to have a Canadian one to follow). Her April projects have been similar to mine: Picture Spring and Week in the Life. Looking forward to seeing some more glimpses of Tara’s Week in Life album when it’s together (I’m still working on mine – I’m doing it all digitally, just need to type up my journalling from my paper notes).
It would such an honour to have Tara photograph my mom, my daughter and I for a generational photo that I’d like my little girl to have as a keepsake.
Like many others, I have been checking in daily to see if anyone from the Toronto area was going to participate. This is a big year in our family. My mother turns 80 and I hit the big 5-0.
