What beautiful photos! I’d like to enter for my sister, who now lives in Chicago. She went through a grueling divorce and is getting her life back together with her two girls, ages 7 and 4. We would all love to see these beautiful girls, who have been through so much family upheaval, photographed with that light in their eyes again. Thanks so much for sharing!

  2. Michele T. says:

Beautiful pictures! There is finally a photographer who is close to me! :)

  3. Lesley VW says:

Gorgeous photographs! I would love the opportunity to have portraits taken of our family outside the typical portrait studio! I’m a stay-at-home mom to two boys, and my husband is a pastor to a smallish church here south of Peoria. Sometimes I feel like we’re so busy taking care of other people, that we neglect taking care of each other. We need something for “us” – something that celebrates our marriage, our family, and what God has done for us. What a great opportunity to capture it all on film! Thanks for the chance! :)

Awesome photos! I’m so glad there is another photographer for the QC area!! We haven’t had a family portrait done in 6 years, plus we have to adorable Boston Terriers to add to the mix. :)

  5. Sara says:

I would love to nominate a friend of mine. She has a brand new baby and 2 older kids…they would love the opportunity to have her family photographed!! I would love to be able to give her this gift!

  6. Leslie Erb says:

    Fantastic photos!

I love it that you’ll photograph up to 8 people. We are a family of 7 and I would absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this opportunity. We have 4 girls and one boy smack dab in the middle. He keeps asking us to find him a baby store so he can pick up a little brother. =)

  7. Theresa M. says:

We haven’t had a family photo in 13 years! With 2 adult children leaving the nest and the other 2 being teens, we would cherish a family portrait! Our lives are moving too fast now. We need to stop time if only for a moment!

  8. Latrice says:

Absolutely gorgeous! Here I am once again trying to win this! My son will be turning 1 in a few weeks and I really don’t want to go back to Sears portrait. The teenager girl there just doesn’t care about my pictures like I do. If I win this I would cherish these photos for a long time and of course they would be scrapbooked for future family to see. Time flies by and I can’t even believe my son will be 1 and I have a 4 year old girl. An outdoor photo session of my family of four would be a dream come true. Honest!

  9. I would love to have a family picture taken. I live in Pekin. My daughter and son are 30 and 28 and we have never had a professional family picture taken. Thanks for the opportunity!

  10. Kirsten says:

I have 18 month old GBG triplets that have never been professionally photographed. Would love the opportunity!!! They’re LOTS of fun and very cute!

  11. Carrie W says:

Would love the opportunity! We have three beautiful daughters with big, bright, blue eyes. Haven’t taken a family photo since our eldest was 1 (she’s 5 1/2 now). The girls definitely keep us busy, but the crazy is pretty fun. I would love to showcase their personalities in print, rather than all the snarly faces I seem to get when I’m behind the camera!! :) Thanks for doing this!

The last time we had a family photo taken was when I was nine…today is my birthday and I am 38 years old. It would be a special birthday gift to my family and I to be chosen for a family photo shoot! It would be a treasured memory for sure!

  13. Rachelle says:

Your photos are gorgeous and I would love to have a family photo shoot. Unfortunately, in our home I am always behind the camera and with a 5 month old I’m sad to say there haven’t been any pictures taken of me with him or with my 3 yr old daughter since the night we brought him home from the hospital! My husband doesn’t think to get the camera unless its a really big event. When he asked what I wanted for Mother’s Day I requested a pic of me with the 2 kids…and he forgot. I would love to win this photo shoot and preserve these precious fleeting moments. Thanks for the opportunity.

  14. Amanda Powell says:

Would love to get a family portrait. Especially since we just added our newest member to our family in March! It would be great to get all 3 kids in a nice picture. Thanks for the chance!

  19. Geri says:

We’ve tried to have our family portrait taken twice in a studio, and both time my daughter was too young and it turned into chaos. My kids are now 3 and 5 and we’ve never had a family portrait. We would love this opportunity.

  20. Cassie says:

This is so great! We are living in the quad cities, 1600 miles from homer. My husband is in school and so professional pictures dont make the tight student budget. Our fun loving 2 year old is her grandparents pride and joy! Our parents would be thrilled to get a family picture (finally!)
    Your photos are amazing!

  21. Melissa says:

    Hi there,

I am nominating my friend’s parents who are living in Peoria. They are an AMAZING couple, so dedicated to their family. They are grandparents and travel to see their grandkids (their grandkids live in Ohio and Round Lake Beach, IL). Their names are Sara and Garner Sickles, and Sara is a cancer thyroid cancer survivor. She took care of her mother for many years until her mother died at age 97. You will fall in love with them when you meet them!! We call them Mamie and Pappa, and they are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They have not had a picture together in several years.
Thank you for considering them! Your pictures are amazing!

  22. Laurie says:

I would like to nominate our friends who live in Peoria. They are a wonderful family with 5 children and often struggle to make ends meet. Thank you.

I would love the opportunity to win!! It would be great to have all the family together for pictures; my boys, my parents, my brother and I. Thanks for the chance!!

  26. melissa o. says:

I would like to nominate my brother and his family of five. From unemployment to relentless medical problems for several members of the family, they’ve had a rough couple years. They have never taken a professional portrait as a family and would love to provide them with this great opportunity. Thank you for the chance :)
