Tyler was born 6 weeks early after I spent 76 days in the hospital on bedrest due to preterm labor and other complications. Tyler spent just 13 days in the NICU and is our bundle of joy — worth every minute we spent at Wake Med!

My sister just had a baby on Friday and lives about an hour from you. It would be SO fun to celebrate the new baby along through your photography! My sister and her husband also have two year old twins and an 11 and 13 year old.
I have friends near you, and would LOVE to win for them! I’m not sure if they have ever had professional photos done of their family, but I know they would love it. And, God knows, they more than deserve it. They have a daughter that they have to take to Raleigh for treatment for her diabetes…so it would be a nice change to have a fun family photo outing on one of those trips!
I love this work and this project. Photography is such a amazing artform to capture life. We just welcomed our 2nd son into our family, my brother just got back from Antartica and my sister is moving soon-we would love some great pictures our family.

My husband is military, and he’s been in training (and we’ve been apart) for the past four months. We just moved to NC and are now reunited as a family! We just bought our first home and we are happier than ever! What beautiful pictures!! I would absolutely love to have some professional pictures taken. We’ve been wanting to do it for a long time, but money is tight. My husband and I have a little miracle baby who is 17 months today. We tried for years to get pregnant and with a little “modern medicine” help, we were blessed with our little Ava. My maternity leave ended with a layoff at my company, so I am now a stay-at home-mom…and loving it!
We want more kids, but we’re finding it may be more difficult now than last time… Last year, my husband was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at the age of 33. He underwent numerous surgeries and radiation therapy and was out of work for months. We are finally trying to get our life back to normal. But with a fairly high reoccurence rate in my husband’s type of cancer, we’re trying to live everyday as the blessing it really is. It would mean so much to us if we were selected get some professional pictures of my survivor husband, my miracle baby and me. I can’t think of a better keepsake! 
We are new to North Carolina and have a new addition to our family…we’ve adopted a wonderful baby girl. We haven’t had family photos taken with her yet and are so anxious to do that in our new state and our new family. Thank you for giving this package away.
These pictures are gorgeous! Raleigh is about 1 hour from where I live. I would absolutely love to win a photo session! I believe the last time my family had a “real official” photo session was in 1997 when my daughter was 2, she will be 15 in July. Definitely time for some new family photos!
I would love to win this shoot. My children are 9&11. My family lives in Texas. They are coming for a visit this summer and would love to have a big family picture taken for my parents. We haven’t had a family picture with all of us since my kids were really little. It would be such a nice surprise!

My husband and I have been married 13 years (the 31st of this month). The last time we had our picture taken together professionally was our wedding. It would be wonderful to have a picture of us together now, after all these years.

I so hoped there would be a photographer close to us. My husband is active duty Army and stationed at Ft. Bragg. To be honest the last “real” family photograph we have was done when my oldest was 10 weeks old. About 8 years ago I managed to get him to JCPenney and that was it. He even bought me a DSLR to try and “avoid” having to have his picture taken. We so need a real family picture taken and to be honest I thinking winning a session will be about the only way I can get my man to do it. I so love him. Oh, and we have 3 kids – 9, 8, and 3. Hope to get to meet you one way or another.
I’ve been checking Becky’s blog every day since this contest kicked off hoping there would be a photographer in North Carolina! So, so happy to see this post and your work! We are a family of four – two boys ages 6 and 3 – and we haven’t had a professional family portrait done yet. I just celebrated my 40th birthday and to mark the occasion I came up with a list of 40 things to do to celebrate this milestone. Winning this session would be EXACTLY what I have been wishing for. My husband and I are expecting our first baby in November. Although we aren’t going to find out the gender, I just “know” it is going to be a little girl. In the last two years my mother, and best friend, has had to quit her job to stay home with my grandmother, who has Alzheimer’s Disease. Her freedom to spend time with me, and generally do anything just for herself, has been greatly reduced, but she has never once complained. I have been wanting to get a “3 Generations” picture of my grandmother, mother, and myself for years, but now I am looking forward to a possible “4 Generations” picture with our new addition. My parents and I haven’t had a family portrait since I was 14, so this would be a great opportunity to have a family portrait of EVERYONE! I am so excited to see who wins!
Last week, our friends’ house caught on fire and burned to the ground. They lost everything they owned, including their two dogs. If my name is drawn as the winner, I will give the photography shoot to them so they will have family pictures to hang on their walls as they begin to rebuild their home.

I do some part-time photography work and you know how the shoemakers kids never have shoes….well…it’s kind of the same with photographers! The photographer never has family photos!
