family pictures are just so special–like freezing a day in your life at that very moment. i am obsessed with taking lots of pictures because my dad died suddenly when i was 9 years old and we have only one snapshot of our family of four all together. you just never know when your life will change.

I would LOVE to win photos of our family. I’ve read so many of the comments above, and there are so many deserving families!! We haven’t had family photos in several years, and with both my husband and I teaching, photos just haven’t been a big priority because they are so pricey. This would definitely be a blessing!

Wow, you are going to have a tough time deciding! I love Becky Higgins and have been following her for two years. I just had to do her Project Life scrapbook this year and have had a blast. Even my friends send me pictures when my children are with them for “picture of the day”……. Any way back to winning a setting with Dori Young, I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to capture our family in photographs done by a professional! My girls are 10 and 13 and we have yet to do a family portrait. I know shame on me! Your work looks spectacular and we would love to have you photograph our family!

Hello. I would love to have a some pictures taken of my family. My poor baby is not in any of the pictures around the house and she is 2 1/2 already. They grow up so fast. I also have 2 more girls who are 5 and 7. The last family picture I have was when my 5 year old was a newborn. And boy, has she changed. I do have to warn you, my youngest has mild cerebral palsy. But, she is lucky. She can walk and tires her hardest to keep up with her sisters.

Love your sample pictures. I have shied away from family photos because I don’t like the way I look. However, I’m working on the self-esteem and making myself look more the way I want. After losing my SIL to cancer 18 months ago, I have come to realize that it’s so important to have those pictures regardless of less than perfect feelings we might have about ourselves.
I’d love the opportunity to have some pictures taken of our family of five.
First I must say that I think this is another great thing that Becky Higgins has done. This contest has come at a really great time. I currently live in California but my Mom, Dad, and brothers all live in the DFW area. We will be traveling there in June and it would be fabulous to be able to get a family picture done…or at least the grandkids. My husband is in the military and it has kept me away from my family more than I would like. It has been almost three years since my parents have had us all together and what a great gift this would make. I was so excited to see there was a local photographer participating in the contest. I tend to shy away from putting myself in the pictures. After being in the nursing field I am realizing how short and precious life is and that for my kids I need to be in the pictures. I am a single mom of 5 kids and would absolutely would love to have the opportunity for a professional photographer take pictures of my family. They are growing up before my eyes and before long they will be going there own directions.

Wow! There are certainly some very deserving families that have commented and I am sure your decision is going to be tuff. I wish that I had a spectacular story to tell, but I don’t. I can say that My husband and I would love to win the photoshoot. We are just a small family of three living here in the Fort Worth area and with my little girl turing one next month (where does the time go???) we would love to finally capture in a photo the one thing we love…us being together!

I am a stay at home, mother of three and live in Mansfield. The last pictures we had taken of our family were when my youngest was about six months old, he’s 3 and a 1/2 now. He looks at our family picture and complains because he’s not a “baby” anymore, he’s a “big boy!” I know I should’ve done it a long time ago, but just haven’t been able to. There are so many worthy entries, I don’t know how you’re going to pick!!!!
I would LOVE to have family pictures taken. We tried to have a portrait taken at Target last year when my one year old was three months old…and not a single good picture resulted from the shoot. I was so sad. Here we are about one year later and we still don’t have a good family portrait. I have pictures all over my house…and I would love to have a great family one displayed… Pick me!

I would nominate my bestfriend Michelle. She lives in Keller with her husband and four children. It’s been a crazy year for them. She had brain surgery last September, and is still dealing with issues after it. (headaches etc.) Her husband because of the health scare of his wife, decided to get super healthy and has lost over 80 lbs! I think it would be wonderful for them to get a family photo done!
