The lucky family will receive a one hour photo session, a disc with all of the high resolution images, and three of your favorite images will be retouched, and a copyright release.
Note from Laura: I would really like to share this gift with someone who is a cancer survivor, but this is not a must. If you know anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer in the past ten or fifteen years, then please share this with them and have them post a comment or post one for them. They do not need to be in remission. I understand all too well the price one pays both monetarily and physically to fight cancer.

my husband is a dentist and one of his assistants is going through breast cancer right now. she live in garland, ut (so pretty close to cache valley) with her five kids and i think it would be an awesome surprise if they could win a photography session. thanks.
I had cancer as a child 23 yrs. ago. I think it was harder on my parents than it was on me and I’m grateful for the advances in medicine that have improved current cancer treatments. My parents chose to put me on an experimental treatment plan at the time and I feel like maybe I did something to contribute to how patients are treated today. It would be great to have a family pic done of my current little family.
Boy, do I know of a deserving family for this one! My dear friend Laura is a breast cancer survivor with the most incredible attitude one could ever hope to have. But, that’s not all, she lost her oldest son 2 years ago (he was born with disabilities) and has had a rough time coping with the loss. She is not financially well off and has never had a professional photograph of her family. She is MOST deserving!
My dad is a cancer survivor for the past 5 years. we just lost my mom in September of this year. I would love to give my dad this as a gift. Thanks!

It has been five years since we have had a family photo taken. Way too long when you have little ones. I am also expecting number three, so it would be nice to capture this moment of big changes.
Oh, and my husband loves Cache Valley so much. We go up there often.
Our 11 year old daughter is a cancer SURVIVOR. Living with and continuing the fight. She was diagnosed 4 years ago with a inoperable low grade brain tumor in her brain stem. She has been on many different chemotherapies. One for two and a half years. When she went off that drug the tumor grew. About a year ago she had a very serious 7 hour surgery to remove the new growth. From there she recovered and went on a new chemo and is finishing her last dose for this medicine. We don’t know where we will go from here. I would love to document this time in our families life. What a great life it is…we are so grateful for the chance.
