I realized that I have several 15-minute florals around our home. Actually … a couple of them took more like 2 minutes.
Again — it’s a simple way to add a lovely bit of color and texture into any room. Vases and pots and containers of every kind can be found in so many places. Try something unusual for a whimsical look. Post a comment if you have specific ideas for creative container ideas. I’d love to hear!
My favorite places to find containers? Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshall’s, JoAnn, Michael’s.

Becky,
Do you remember where you might have picked up the containers in the 1st and last photos? I LOVE the color!
Thanks!
Jessica
Oh Becky,
You never cease to amaze me with the delicious-ness of your blog. I wish I could bottle you up and dump you in my morning coffee. I’m sure you get sick of hearing this all the time, but you are awesome. Happy Weekend!
Becky, thanks for sharing your talents and gifts with us. I am so inspired! I had planned to go yard sale shopping on Saturday, and now I’m sure I will be looking for containers! I’m sure your home is gorgeous and inviting.
The containers are truly gorgous (especially the first one) but the height of the flowers in the first 3 is not proportional to the height of the containers. That can easily be remedied by stuffing newspapers in the bottom of the containers.
Silk flowers are way under-rated in my opinion.
I love the variety of these floral arrangements. The colors are yummy and definitely inspiring to the creative soul. I don’t know if you have these outlets in your town, but i like to go to Old Time Pottery for my vase, container, and dinnerware “needs.” They have a great selection and are VERY inexpensive.
Do you have any tips on keeping your floral arrangements dust free?
Umm, Becky, I didn’t know where else to leave you a comment. You need to check out the responses to your apple pear salad in your recipes section… very inappropriate remarks!!
Put your silk flowers in a paper bag with a little bit of salt. Shake vigorously and you will have dust free flowers.
Love the arrangements and love the first container. Do you know where it came from?
Thanks for sharing all the arrangements! I was inspired to find some flowers today. I love the new header (and the colors) on your blog.
Thank you for all these ideas.
I bought a container today at marshalls but not sure where to find flowers. would love some advice. thanks
VERY inspiring! I’ve been scared of “fake” flowers until now. I may have to try one of these!
I used “fake” flowers in my summer wedding. It was much more economical than fresh and I didn’t have to wrry about them wilting in the heat of the day!
School Kit this fall? Exciting..can we see a preview?
Becky,
I would love to see how the arrangements fit in the scheme of the whole room, or other decorative items they are near. Can you show us that too?

A simple clear glass water pitcher works in any room.
Ditto what Denise said at 7:44 p.m.
