You don’t know how badly I want to ship out 1500+ of that fun bag so you can each have one. But the randomly selected winner is none other than … Chrystine on Minneapolis, Minnesota! Chrystine, we are now BFFs because we have matching bags. Shoot an email to customerservice@beckyhiggins.com and we’ll ship that out to you.
These are my fantabulous parents, who of course are the reason we made our way to Finland. I love, love, love my parents. Love them.
This photo was taken in Estonia. We crossed the Gulf of Finland on one of the days and visited the beautiful city of Tallinn. I have some fun pictures from there I’ll be sharing. Here is a quick geographical overview of where these places are, in case you don’t know.
In this corner of the world, I caught on quickly to the fact that needle crafts are very, very big. Yarn is everywhere. And when I say everywhere, I mean even at the little gas station markets. Seriously … everywhere. All the color was so inspiring.
These hands belong our new friend, Outi, who was working on a new piece that she may already be wearing by now. You know that hammock/trees/lake photo below? That’s at Outi’s family’s summer cottage where we spent some time. Outi is a scrapbooker, like so many of you. We actually got to meet half of Finland’s scrapbookers. : )
More on that tomorrow.

loving your updates!
What beautiful bundles of color! I’m sure you guys are having a great time! Safe travels!
Your trip looks so fun. I just rediscovered your blog. My Google Reader for some reason hasn’t been tracking you since 4/28/10. I guess it didn’t like all the photography giveaways. Weird. I think I’ll unsubscribe and then subscribe again to see if that fixes it but I’m sure others are having the same problem. Glad to see you haven’t fallen off the earth because that’s what I thought had happened.
I’ve enjoyed seeing all your pictures on FB from your recent trip to Finland. It looks like you had an amazing trip! I’ve never been to Finland but hope to go someday since both my parent’s are Finnish.
Congrats to Chrystine in Minnesota!!! May your new bag always be filled with money.
I am enjoying all your photos from Finland, Becky. Keep them coming!
Never been to Finland, it’s nice that you could share some pictures of your trip and your family!
Is that a scarf I see? Welcome home to 115 degree temps!!! Thank goodness for pools…
Hi Becky!
Didn’t you want to tell anyone that you are coming to Finland? There are so many disappointed people here, because nobody told us that you are coming. They told about you just a day before the meeting and then it was too late to do anything. If people had known that YOU are coming, Finland would had gone crazy. That 40 people had changed to 400 people. Lightly. And everyone who is your fan, would had been able to come.
So I really was wondering why they didn’t rent bigger place and tell at the beginning that you are coming? There are so many sad people here in Finland. I don’t mean to be rude, I am just wondering why to keep this all secret and let so many of your fan down.
But still, it was nice to hear that you fell in love with Finland. Have a great summer!
I love my mom and her hands! Beautiful pic! It was so fun to have you guys here. Say hi to David and the kids too.
Love the yarn skein photo ~ I’m a big fan of COLOR!
I wish I would have know you were going or I would have asked you to ship me some yarn…. I love yarn as much as I love scrapbooking! Knitting is the best.. it’s portable and I can knit anywhere…my specialty is socks. Next time you go let me know and glad you enjoyed yourself.
I am so excited to read about your trip to Finland. It looks amazing! We have a son serving a mission there, he is in love with Finland and the wonderful people (and the food, too)! I am so happy to see/read about a country that I too have come to love. Your pictures are awesome. Our son has been in Finland since Dec 29, 2009. We hope to pick him up when he’s completed his mission. It is such a great blessing to be a missionary mom and know that our dear son is loving the experiences he is having while serving in Finland.
P.S. I love the purse! Too bad I didn’t know about the giveaway!! I’ll hope that he gets to that town one day soon.
Thanks for inspiring me.

Hi Becky,
I was just curious where you found the map images you’ve posted recently on your blog (United States for the photo session give-aways and Finland/Scandinavia to visit your folks). My husband and I just took our boys on their first trip and I thought it would be fun to keep a record of when they first visit a new state.
Thanks!
