I know many of you are anxious to know when Project Life will be available again. An appointment is finally set for Amazon to receive the shipment on Thursday which means … Project Life is expected to be available THS WEEK, probably on Thursday or Friday.
Say hello to Candace and Ross who live in Indiana (gorgeous couple, aren’t they?):
Here is part of an email Candace sent to me:
“I got married on January 1st of this year and Ross (my husband) and I are loving documenting our first year of marriage! Ross has taken an awesome interest in the project too, taking pictures of his daily activities and journaling at least 2 or 3 of the days each week. Without fail, every weekend he asks if he can go get our “pictures of the day” printed! It’s been so much fun. Not only have we already been able to document our wedding and honeymoon during this year’s project life, but we have a lot of big milestones coming up this year too! This book will be something we both cherish for the remainder of our married life because we will be able to remember all those special moments from our first year together in such an awesome way!”
I’d like to extend a special THANK YOU to Jan in Indianapolis. Who’s Jan? Jan Gerbers is Candace’s sister and the one who gave Project Life to the new couple. Candace is just entering the world of scrapbooking and I’m so, so, so pleased that she’s entering with Project Life.
I’ve heard from many other readers who have given the gift of Project Life as wedding gifts and graduation gifts and I just want to let you know how much I appreciate that. You are truly giving a gift that will keep on giving. Project Life can start any time, any season, at any age or stage.
Here’s the thing.
Scrapbooking can get a bad reputation. There are so many who view this wonderful hobby as one that requires a lot of time and creativity and even money, right? I don’t blame them for thinking that. Scrapbooking can be that. But it doesn’t have to be. They are the reason — and you are the reason — that I created Project Life. So that anyone who would like a beautiful scrapbook can achieve that WITHOUT all the time and creativity and money.
Project Life is scrapbooking in the simplest form.
So think about your friends and family members. Think about who you know that could really benefit from knowing about Project Life and give them the heads-up that this week they’ll be available again. When they sell out, they are gone until we release the next edition later this year. My blog is the place for the most current information. I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, what questions might you have about Project Life? Ask me here in the comments. Be sure to check out the Project Life FAQ section here too, as your question might already be addressed.
And remember — the digital version of Project Life doesn’t run out. Anyone can try that out for free, any time.

I can’t wait for your school days.
I wish I had thought of this for a wedding present for my brother and his new wife! What an awesome idea!!
We just moved to a new state last week and I’m so excited to use Project Life to document the beginning of our new adventure!
Becky,
I just wanted to thank you for the photoshoot give-away from last month. I did not win the free photo shoot but I did take advantage of the discount for those who commented! Vanessa from vanessairene.com did a fabulous job! My husband is in the Navy we are currently stationed in San Diego and now we have some fabulous photos of us in Balboa Park as a memory of our tour of duty here. If you want a peek of us go to her website and click on the “what’s up” tab and there we are. If you can give a shout-out to Vanessa and a Thank-you that would be great!
Thanks for all of the Inspiration.
God Bless!
I’m getting married in November and am absolutely going to do this!
Our first baby is due Aug. 5th, and I have been dying to get my hands on Project Life to document her first year. Sounds like it will be coming out just in time!
Becky, you’re sweet for posting this about Ross and me! And I wasn’t kidding about the milestones during this year. Since getting married on 01.01.10 I have graduated from Indiana University, Ross has graduated with his masters, we’ve moved to Charlotte, NC, I started my career last week here, and TODAY Ross got a job! Our Project Life has been such an incredible blessing already as we’ve created it together; I can only imagine how much we will cherish it for years to come! Thank you, THANK YOU Becky, for this awesome idea!
Hey Becky I was wondering what Lense you use with your Nikon? I need to upgrade mine and I saw you had a Nikon too!! Anyways I know your busy but would you mind posting that
Thanks!
My daughter and I love our Project Life books. We religiously remind each other not to get too far behind. They have been great reference guides for the more traditional forms of scrapbooking….when did we go here, etc….
My daughter, Lauren, was hoping that with the new version you could back the day stickers with a darker color. She often scraps into the night (being a teenager) and has a very hard time seeing the different days. I thought this was a great idea since I simply am getting older and my eyesight is not what it use to be.
Thanks for a great product. I can’t wait for the new version. My daughter is a senior next year and we want to capture every moment from both of our perspectives.
That Jan is a great big sis! I wish I had a sister like her who would have done something like this for me! What a treasure the family will have to look back on as Candace scrapbooks and journals their life story!
Those are my Daughters! Actually we are a big scrapbooking family, holidays at our house include 4 generations at times and the dining room table used of scrapbooking instead of dinner. We are all jealous of Jan because she is never more than a couple months behind. Jan uses Project Life as her family album and is making more traditional, separate albums for each of her girls (and works full time) but keeping it simple is the key. Candace hasn’t had much time for scrapbooking the last few years but she really is loving Project Life. Thanks so much for honoring her in this special way! and the comment about Jan too! Candace and Ross are a very special couple and Project Life is a wonderful way for them to look back at how God has had a hand in everything they have done this first year of their marriage.
Just wanted to let you know that I gave Project Life to my mom for Christmas and she LOVES, absolutely loves it. She’s not a scrapbooker, but has always liked taking photos. She is documenting so much of her life and is having a great time doing it. She sends me photos from time to time to show me what she is doing. She is documenting so many little bits and pieces of her life. I think this project has given her something to really think about and concentrate on which has been such a good thing. Thank you so very much for creating this fun project.
July 15th 2pm Eastern – It’s up on Amazon! Just purchased mine!!
Just wondering if you have a time frame for being able to order just the page protectors? I did Project 365 last year but never got a kit. All I need is those protectors and I will have a whole year finished!!!!
Thanks for sharing your amazing talents
Oh I so wish I could get the kit in Australia
when is the new kit released?
Hi Becky,
I wanted to let you know not only how much I am loving Project Life but how much it has helped me. I have suffered with depression and anxiety for alot of my life and during those times it is hard to see the good things in life. I am a scrapbooker also but get down on myself for not getting time to do it or not being in a creative mood, so Project Life made it easier to feel the sense of accomplishment. The main thing though is that it makes me stop and think each day about the little things in life that are important to me. If I had a bad day, at least it makes me think of the little things to be grateful for or to reflect on why it was a bad day and journal that too, because it is all a part of my life. I see a Psychologist occasionaly and told her about it and she thinks that many people could benefit from this so I showed her mine and she loved it. We’re all the way down in Aus and I know so many people here who love it.
Thank you so much and can’t wait for next years. You also are an inspiration as I love your Blog and photography.
Melissa
