Ooo, I’m excited for the vertical photo aspect (hope it’s in digital too in case I do that). Okay – I also had a major breakthrough though it’s likely light-years behind everyone else….I’m not someone that takes pictures everyday (yet), so I didn’t think this would really be for me. But I just realized that each two page spread doesn’t HAVE to cover one week – - I could make it cover two weeks if I need it to if I didn’t take a ton of pictures. If another week I take quite a bit, especially of an event, I can have that two page layout cover just 1-2 days if I like.
I just realized that I don’t have to have each PL album (tradtional or digital) cover exactly a year. It can cover a little more or a little less depending on what I do with it. OH MY GOODNESS! Why didn’t I realize this before!?!
That is EXACTLY how I use Project Life, Katy! I try to do a POTD (which has resulted in me taking a lot more interesting family life pictures), but I mix it up with series of events that make up for the days that I miss. I just aim to keep each month basically self-contained…if that makes sense.

I am pleased to hear the news but I wish I could buy it directly from you in the US and not go through the distributor in NZ. The Aussie dollar is good now and it seems to me that even with the shipping it would work out cheaper to come direct from the States. But glad to hear about the masculine design. I bought the School Kit direct from the US and that worked out very well.

Hooray for Vertical/Portrait! I’ve been trying so hard this year to remember to take pics in horizontal for Project Life, but sometimes it just doesn’t work!
I’m another one who isn’t doing the POTD thing and just taking photos whenever. Some months I have more photos than others and so far, I think I’m pretty close to being on track with my # of photos I’m putting in. Hey, it’s working for me, but I do love that I’ll be able to buy some extra pages if I need to and am excited for vertical as well. So far, I’m loving Project Life!
I’ve been wanting to get this and decided the time was NOW! Just ordered my Project Life and can’t wait to get it.
WooHoo! Just ordered 2 of the current PL for family Christmas gifts for our children. With “almost” 6 little grandchildren to buy for, purchasing the new version (at the new price) probably would have been prohibitive. So excited that I can give these lovely current ones & let them enjoying PL like I have this year. another aussie here who’s disappointed that we have to buy via NZ – apart from the fact they are out of stock anyway (and from what i read it’s hard to find a time when they are not out of stock) – it would cost almost DOUBLE to buy it from NZ than to buy direct from the USA – therefore i have to conclude that project life is NOT for me

To the people complaining about the price from New Zealand, try a forward it on service.
They give you a shipping address in america where you get your purchases sent to and then they will forward it on to you.
I have done so and its a great way to get product not usually available to those of us down under!

Sorry I missed the 39.99 sale, bummer. Hope it comes around before I purchase the new version as I have has AN INJURIY TO MY NERVE AND IT SHAL LTAKE A WHILE TO HEAL (1 mm per day = 6-8 months healing time) scrapping and photography will be long for me. Can’t wait to get back
