One thing I didn’t talk about in my video about the new products is how much we’ve improved the packaging for Project Life. Significantly. Not only in function (protecting the product better) but in beauty.
Presenting … (cue music) … our clean, crisp, smooth, white box. It’s the finest quality (think Apple products). Super sturdy. And … makes for beautiful gift-giving presentation.
Don’t get me wrong. Last year’s box is … sentimental. I mean, it was our very first product. The best part is that a bazillion of you sent us your pictures with the beloved box when you received your kits in the mail. Loved that. (We’ll do it again.)
But seriously — is this not so much prettier?
And … the whole thing is shrink-wrapped to keep it shiny and new and crisply white until it lands at your front door.
Each product is labeled with a sticker that identifies what’s inside.
Once you take out your kit contents and put your Project Life book together, you’ll likely be keeping your binder out on a shelf, on the coffee table, wherever. This box isn’t the get-rid-of-it kind of box. Heavens no. Use this box for storage or anything you’d like. It’s a nice size for so many things.

imagine us.We are coming to the States for a holiday tomorrow and I had a project life sent to a friends house as we can’t get it in the UK.I now have to find room in my suitcase for it!!!!!
Love the new clean look of the box and especially love seeing my daughter, Lauren, and her box from last year. She loves recording her senior year of high school and is anxious to get the Amber Edition of this year’s. Thanks for helping us record this incredibly exciting time in her life.
I chose Project Life as my way to capture my twin sons’ senior year of HS! I started with their first week of school; hopefully the year will end with both settled into their college rooms.
So far, I’m the only one who writes anything, and too often they only tolerate my photos. But they sat down and read every word when I only had two weeks done. I have hopes that they will start suggesting topics or writing their own cards.

Absolutely, Apple! I have yet to toss the box my Apple arrived in (well, the inside carrier box) because — okay, just because it looks so darn useful. Great product, Becky.

Oh Becky—How I love that you care so much about the little details. Being very detail oriented myself I am a big believer that life is in the details! You might even say that “project life” is all about the details…literally and figuratively!

I also just wanted to say that the funniest thing has happened at our house, in relation to my project life… my sons buddies look at my album when they come over!! These boys are both over 18yrs. old, manly, animal slaying, truck driving, red neck fun loving, kind of boys{i do love them!} ~At first I thought they were kinda mocking me for my dorky, scrapbooking ways, but they all claim they are not, they just like to look at it!!! Who knew this could happen! They even pose for some of the POTD… so thank you!!!!

Im loving the look of the new project life kits and the new box. Im in New Zealand and got an email the other night to pre order a kit. Im really looking forward to getthing this again for next year and photographing another year of every day stuff. As for the box it comes in this year well I think its going to be perfect for me to store all my xmas scrapbooking bits. I have found it hard to find something that fits the 12×12 papers plus all the embelishments and few stamp set but I think its safe to say I can stop looking now. Thanks Becky

This post made me smile! I LOVE packaging! I save it, reuse it, alter it…my husband thinks I’m nuts! Just the other day, I pulled out the plastic raspberry containers I saved from this past summer to reuse as packaging for teacher gifts…perfect size for square thank you cards with holes for tying with pretty ribbon!
