……….
NOTE: My sweet husband was the first to point out to me that the music at the beginning & end is a little too loud. Some of you will agree. If you’d like to view the REAL version of this video (with better sound) — it’s on the Products page. The version here is edited to be a part of the Christmas Video series and I’m not going to have time to go back and fix that sound anytime soon. : )
I’m undecided on what the 12th — the final — Video of Christmas will be. Lots of ideas floating around in my head and I’m pretty sure I know what I want to do. But I’m asking you to share with me … Your suggestion. Your recommendation. Your idea. What should my 12th Video of Christmas be? Sharing your thoughts just may inspire me to steer in a different direction. Or at the very least, you’ll give me ideas of future videos you want to see. This movie-making is sorta fun. : )
So … a penny for your thoughts?

Do you still make home made cards? How about some recent examples. Any other paper crafting projects around your house?
Thanks for sharing this! I’m so excited – can’t wait to get mine. It’s the first time so all the little bits of information I’m picking up from your blog and the BPC Project Life forum. I’m hoping the Australia Post parcel man will arrive tomorrow morning.
Have loved watching all your video clips Becky. How about a tutorial on how you edit your photos…I still need lots of tips in this area!!
Would really like to see your tips on photo editing too please!
Ditto on the photo editting – would love to see that. How about some tips on using digital cameras.
i agree with these ladies!
we can always get better at photo editing!!
well, for one thing, I love the music at the beginning and at the end but it’s too loud…it’s competing with your speaking…I would love to see more on organizing…love the kit (I have the first edition of your kit)…I’m in love with organizing (I know, it sounds sick) but, would love to hear some of your ideas on the subject…Thanks for the videos…they were fantastic…:o)…Happy New Year!
I agree about the music!!!!
You may or may not have noticed my added note. The video has corrected sound on the Products page. I ran out of time and didn’t fix it on the Christmas version of this video.
Would love more home decorating ideas…you should start your own TV show on this, organization, Project Life and digital scrap booking ideas. Enjoyed the videos and would love more of them (if you cant have your own TV show!!! Have a prosperous New Year!
I’m with Lisa! I would love to see a house tour and more organizing ideas! You could TOTALLY have your own show!! Happy New Year!
Just what I was going to say…a house tour or YOUR favorite spots in your home. Hope that is not too personal!!! You are very inspiring, a view of parts of your home would be so fun to see!!!
Happy, Healthy New Year to you and your family!!
Hi Becky, this is completely off the topic but I’m ordering your Project Life kits for two friends as wedding gifts, and I remember you once posted on your blog a cute little note you put in with a kit once for a wedding gift- any chance you could pretty please post a link to that again? I’d love to put it in with my gifts. And if you cant, that’s also totally fine too!
)
I’m thinking of doing the same thing for shower gifts…I forgot about the cute little cards!!! That would be great to have those too!!!
Would love your home organization tips – closets, cupboards, pantry, kids rooms, etc.
Becky—I really enjoy the videos. I would love to see some organizational tips. That is one of my priorities for the new year!
I would love to see more organizational tips. I have limited space in my house and need all the help I can get. Happy New Year!!
A tour of your fabulously-designed home and studio with organizational tips!!!
Oh I loved watching this video!! I am so excited, I just got the email today that my kit was shipped!! Yay!
organizing tips would be AWESOME or another idea would be how do you intergrate your Project Life with your other scrapbooking goal/plans. do you still do other layouts?
thanks for sharing and over the moon to get my Amber kit. I am going to use it for a Disney trip.
love the colors. I am going to order the turquoise kit for my brother. Yes, my brother. He snaps pictures every day.and this would be a GREAT gift for him!
I’d also love to see a tour of your studio and scrap supply organization tips. I’m in the middle of shifting my scrap space to a different room in the house and I’d love some new ideas. Thanks for the PL tour–I’m even more excited for my Amber kit to arrive so I can set it up and be ready to go on 1/1/11!
I would love to see a tour of your home and organization tips.
I want a tour of your entire house!
hi becky!
would love to see you in the kitchen with a fun recipe!
still can’t decide amber or turquoise!
have to make up my mind soon
i’ve so enjoyed project life these past two years
thank you!
CF23
I want to see the inside of your kitchen cabinets. . . organized (I’m sure) or not!
A tour of your home!
I would love to see more of your children. Their bedrooms are to personal but something that shows your children’s personalities. I feel like I know Porter so well from all the years of his pages being published but Claire and Crew, not so much.
Would love to see more of the 2 littles. Porter is darling too, but I echo Jennifer’s sentiment. Also, home organization please, please!
I would also like to see some photo editing techniques that you use. And will the digital version of Project Life be ready this week? I am REALLY hoping for an updated video on how to do the digital version if you have made any changes this year. I played with last year’s version to get a feel for it but would sure love an Un-do button. Can’t wait!
I’d love to see your 2011 Project Life each month as you complete it. I would also love to see how you keep up with it – for example – what you do each day or week to complete the photo insertions and the way you mange to keep up with and do each journal entry, basically Becky’s scrapbook ‘how she does it’.
I am using your ‘follow along’ on Big Picture Classes in hopes that I keep up with the project.
I have the Amber Kit and I am having lots of fun assembling it. Love these colors! My kit arrived on Christmas Eve Day – Merry Christmas to me!
Thank you so much!
I also would love to follow along with you through the year to see your 2011 album and help keep me going. You’re such an inspiration and we all love seeing your work! Thanks for sharing all that you do with us!!
House tour! I recreated the star theme from Porter’s room a few years ago and love the glimpses of your kitchen. For those of us decorating challenged, we appreciate your fabulous ideas!
I vote for a home tour, I gain so much inspiration from you no matter what the subject.
How about a video of your beautiful home?! We keep seeing snippets, but I’m sure we would LOVE to see more!
I would LOVE it to be about Photo tips (I can’t get enough of that!)…I’d also like home organization and decorating tips …I also need to know how to dress better…your outfits are always so cute! Hmm…maybe even make up tips!
Becky, you have been so good at the videos. I really enjoyed watching them from the very beginning. Why don’t you do the last video of your family and you
Thanks so much for sharing with us. Would love to see copies of your family recipe book, favorite menus, etc.
I would also like to see a tour of your 2010 project life. We’ve seen very few of your layouts since leaving Creating Keepsakes. Or perhaps a day in the life of Becky. Or holiday decoration storage. You seen to decorate a lot and it changes often. What do you do with it all? How about pre vacation planning and/or vacation packing organization? Do you have typed up lists or spreadsheets you use to make sure you pack everything you need on vacation? The list goes on and on…
I would absolutely LOVE to see your Project Life album from 2010!
Hi I am a first time Project Lifer! I would love if you shared how you go about organizing things for PL – do you print pictures weekly? journal daily or every other day? carry a camera in your purse? all those little details that could make or break me while doing PL? thanks michelle
Loved all the videos, but the hair styling was a real treat and something totally unexpected. Would love to see one on makeup or fashion tips. Thanks for sharing all of your fun ideas with us. And I would also love to see you do a similar series with organizational tips for the new year! Thanks for all the inspiration!
Do you print you photos at home? I get mine printed at walmart and by the time I get them back I would have forgotten what went where.
Any help would be appreciated!
I would love to see how you & your family spent your Christmas!
Well, since it looks like Toys R Us exploded in our living room I would love to see what yo do with all the toys!
Thank you so much for all of your videos! I would love to see a house tour and some of your tried and true storage solutions…especially TOYS!!
I’d like to see how you get form the creative process to the releasing of Project Life…sort of a behind-the-scenes. We all know it takes a while to go from one step to the next, but I’d love to see how you make it happen. I remember that this was one of our favorite parts from Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood…when he took us on a “virtual” field trip through a whole process of how things happen. That would be great to see Project Life come to life!
Me too, deb. I’d love to hear about your design process (are you the only designer?)…is it made in the USA…etc/
Would love to see your Project Life 2010
I would really REALLY love to see your office/studio/work space. Like to see how you organize photos, where/how you print them, storing/organizing all your ephemera/memorabilia etc. Do you have a creative space? A quiet reading chair? Do you file away creative inspiration (i.e., cards, magazine articles, ads, etc.)? Where’s command central (computer land, scanner, printer, tools, etc.)? Do you leave out your project life binder? Where do you organize the stuff waiting to go inside?
I would really love to get organized in 2011. Thanks, Becky! Love your blog. Happy New Year!
Well, you’ve already got me hooked on flower arranging after your earlier video! If my USB port wasn’t broken, I’d show you what I did! So, any other hobbies you enjoy that you could share? I seem to be following a similar path to yours on the evolution of my memory keeping into other hobbies.
I loved all your videos, thanks so much for sharing them with us! I would love to see your studio, I love to see how others organize their craft supplies. I would also like to know how you keep up with Project Life, what you do daily, weekly or monthly. I am really behind on mine for 2010( I only have up to May done).
A walk thru your house, I would love to see all your colers and the fun decorating ideas you have.
I liked all the videos. Thank you, Becky.
You show the amber-edition in the 11th video, why not the turquoise kit for the 12th Christmas video? I just can’t get enough…
A home tour or your Project Life 2010 = great suggestions!
No matter what, I’ll love it!
Tour of your fabulous home decor!
I am a huge fan of yours. I would love to see a video with all of your kiddos in it. Your family is so adorable. Thank you also for the great hair video a few days ago. I have enjoyed watching it and trying out a new style.
The list of videos I would like to see is too great…among them is organizing (anything really) but I am very interested on how you store your digital photos on your computer, I currently do it by date (I know not very helpful) and have to shuffle through many many photos when looking for something specific.
Thank you for doing your 12 Videos of Christmas, keep ‘em coming.
Happy New Year to all!!
would LOVE to see a tour of your home…and it’s beautiful, organized perfection! xoxo
I would like to see how your scrap room is organized. Mine is in serious need of reorganizing and some fresh ideas would be fantastic!
Would like to see how you organize your scrapbook stuff although it’s getting easier with these project life kits, since i don’t buy like I used to! Could we also see where you’re at with the SCHOOL KIT???
A home tour would be great. I’m in the process of changing my house and would like some ideas.
I agree! Photo editing!
Organizing a scrapbook room. We built a scrapbook room and it is in disaray
I organize one thing and then decide no not like that so help. I can’t even use it as there are so many rubbermaid tubs full of supplies. Thanks.
I would love to see your Project Life album from 2010 too!
This will be my first PL kit(amber) although I have attempted to do a similar pic a day type album for 2010 and have found it difficult to keep up with both the jornaling and printing out the pics. It sounds like I am not really alone though from what I read/see on your blog. I was going to go with a digital format this yr in an attempt to avoid selecting/ordering/waiting for pics (not a lot of uninterrupted time to do this with 2 young children at home) however after seeing the “thank you video” I went with the kit version so I can add extras as needed. So I would love to know how you have kept up with your PL 2010 or your suggestions because I have a vague recollection that you did the digital version. If you did do digital, then what do you do with all the extra pics and memorabilia? Would love to know if you edit and print pics at home, basically your overall PL process. Thanks Becky, whatever you do for the last(say it isn’t so) video I know I’ll enjoy!
A tour of your house? I love the way you decorate and would like to see more.
I also vote for scrap studio tour with organization ideas.
Though I love everything I have seen of your home (and would not be disapointed if that was your last video), I am going with the Project Life crowd! Lately, I have been in a rut and it seens that all the pictures are just head-shots of my kids. My 2 year old thinks he has to see every picture after I take- that kind of kills the moment of him actually being nice to his brother! What other ‘stuff’ are you including in your PL album that I/we haven’t thought of?
I could ask a MILLION questions!
Thank you, Becky, for ALL of your inspiration, creativity, and honesty!!!
I would love, love, love to have you page through your completed 2010 album. 2011 is my first try at 365, and I’m looking for ideas!
Thanks for the tour of the new kit. Looks great. I was just wondering if you have any ideas for using the number stickers.
Also, do you plan on starting your new album on 26th Dec 2010 or 2nd Jan 2011?
Would love to see a tour of your scraproom/office.
Everyone that is wanting a video of photo editing, Becky posted some tips back in August. Check it out in archives.
I vote for your Project Life 2010 or your kids’ albums. Would love to see what you’ve been doing with that also!
A peak at your book would be lovely but even better would be a tour of your scrapbook space! I am thinking that Organize is going to be my one little word this year and I am all up for ideas!
I like the video idea of a holiday recipe, especially since some of us are hosting a New Year celebration. (My hubby drew the short straw and had to work Christmas, so we decided to have family over after his work week to celebrate New Year.) I’m pretty good in the kitchen, but love trying something new and your recipes are always a hit!
I have to tell you how much I love Project Life! I wasn’t able to order the kit last year, but I took a POTD any way, printed them out, added journaling and now, everything is ready and waiting for it’s own kit. I’m so excited for when I can order mine. (Gotta wait till after our family gathering.) Thank you so much for this fantastic product!
Definitely would love to see photo editing!!! I am terrible in this area. You are always so good at transforming your pictures.
Loved your video on project life…although I have last years addition and have to “work” on getting it caught up. It was still sooooo much fun to see whats in it. Gosh your idea was GREAT…I am a scrapbooker but NOT enough time to really do it. These kits make me feel like everyday I get alittle of that scrapbooking in my blood kind of thing “IN” my day.
I would absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE a tour of your home too. I really wish I would of chose interior decorating as my career. BUT no matter I love your style of the peeks we do get to see. A tour of your scrapbook room and how you organize and scrap would be lovely. Seeing BOTH your scrapbook room and your whole house would be THE BEST!!!!!!!
I love that you love our input. Thanks! I would love to see how you keep up with your children’s ornaments and other projects from school. Do you display them, do you take pics of them and then put them in a photo album? I know I can’t keep it all, but am I going to regret not keep the handprint turkey my 5 year old made in Kindergarten? Also, like you, I have 3 kids, two of which are in elementary, the third is still in daycare, so I am planning for the future, but trying to catch up in the present. So…some days, I want to just trash and others I want to save. What to save, what to trash? That is my dilemna. Anyhow, I would love anything that you wish to share. You are AWESOME!
I just have to tell you that my soon to be 3 year old asks nearly daily, “Can we watch a Becky Higgins video?” It’s so cute. I like your videos with pictures and music the best. I would love to see more of those.
I would love to see your project life album as well! Can’t wait to get my kit!
Your Project Life Album! Got my turquois one today and can’t wait to start putting it together!
This soooo bizarre, 8 seconds into your video and I hear “ding ding” at the front door. Woooo hooooo DHL, with my Project LIfe kit!!!!!!!! One happy little Aussie here.
would love to know how you did the digital frames/tvs that are in your wall
I would love to see your Project Life for 2010. I also wouldn’t mind some decorating tips post Christmas.
Love the video- still working on this year’s… so I learned a few tricks Nice clarity on the video too, MUCH appreciated!!! Can’t think of anything for you but loved them all! Thanks for the fun and the great kit.
How about a sneak peak of the School Years Kit!!! And any info on when that’s gonna be available!
Definitely scrap room ideas!
Hi Becky! I’d love to see your ideas for using the leftover 2010 kit items. I followed the POTD for 2010, and absolutely loved it. My oldest daughter is 4 1/2, and my youngest daughter is 18 months now, and we had such fun capturing their everyday life, and assembling the kit over the year. Due to finances, I won’t be able to purchase the 2011 POTD kit, so I’d love to see some fun ideas for stretching out those leftover supplies if that’s possible. Thanks so much!
definitely project life inspiration. i got all excited again about beginning this project but with four kids, i also remember not keeping up on it so well. i am also thinking about using some method for rotating focusing on my kids. maybe each week is about a different child, so they basically get a spread each month for the year. i can’t wait to get the extra pocket pages for this reason! but i still want to have a “family”album…
I would love to see your completed 2010 album too. And also could you do a post explaining your process for keeping up with Project Life? How often do you upload, edit, and print out your photos? Is it daily, weekly, monthly? I’m trying to find the best work flow process so i will keep up with this project.
Would also like to see a tour of your home and how you did your tv’s in your kitchen-we are doing a kitchen remodel and would like to do the same sort of thing.
Tour of your home, scrapbook room in detail and organizational tips would be great
Thanks for your videos- love them! Here’s a few of my many ideas for your future videos:
-tour of your PL 2010 album and others’ PL albums.
-tour of your scrapbooking space. (show how/why you organize things the way you do)
-video of you actually making a PL spread. (Deciding which photos, what to journal, etc.)
-walk through video on the PL digital version.
-video of you and your kids creating home decor projects, kids crafts, etc.
-tour of your amazing decorated home.
-video of scrapbook pages/picture pieces/framed work that decorates your home instead of housed in a scrapbook. How to make those pieces as well.
-show how you organize life (kids toys, games, recipes, mail, household items, clothes, closets, etc.)
I appreciate your dedication to your blog and PL followers. Keep up the great work! You are loved!
I have to ask what the piano music was, playing in the background at the end of this video. Its beautiful.
I have loved everything you have done since way back in the day when you were designing alphabets for scrapbookers. Thanks for everything that you have inspired me to do.
Thank you for this video — seeing what all the elements were and how everything will work together finally pushed me over the edge and I just ordered my kit! I can’t wait to get started with 2011!
