I was just reading a book with my kids called, The Night Before The Night Before Christmas. It’s a sweet reminder that the season can be crazy. We get sick. We get rushed. We get overwhelmed. We get caught up in things that aren’t going right. Toward the end of the book, the dad says to the mom, plain and simple …
“These things are just stuff. Christmas is about love.”
I hope that amidst the busy-ness that is typical this season, you’re able to slow down, wrap your arms around those you love most, and focus on what’s most important.

Speaking of the title of this adorable book … I just got word this afternoon that we finally have a scheduled appointment for the Amazon delivery of Project Life kits. You guessed it — the night before the night before Christmas. In other words — THURSDAY, DECEMBER 23.

I know some of you are bummed that they won’t be arriving to your door in time to wrap and put under the tree before Saturday, and I’m sorry for that. It’s disappointing to us as well. In the end, we all just want it in time to begin a new project of documenting life as we ring in the New Year. And that looks to be very promising.

Roll it up & tie it with a bow. Fold it up & put it in an envelope. Place it in a box and wrap it. Do some origami with the sheet and hang that from a tree like an ornament.
Okay, so maybe that’s a stretch. My point is — You can keep it simple or get creative. No matter how you go about it, you are still giving the gift of Project Life.

This actually makes me happy! Had to use my project life secret money stash for a kid emergency and I was worried that it would sell out before I get my paycheck on thursday. So this is great news for me! I can get my paycheck and buy pl just in time! Thanks becky!
I jsut have to say, I ordered 3 of the 2010 project life kits on Black Friday and just gave one to my mom over this past weekend – She was BEYOND excited about it! Thanks Becky, for all that you do!

I imagine that after the drama with the first Project 365 launch you might cringe a little but trust that your people adore you and appreciate being kept in the loop. You are doing a great job communicating the details and being honest about your expectations, disappointments and eager anticipation – no worries! Extra thoughtful of you to help folks plan ahead with the printed certificate
So excited! I wanted to buy one last year but didn’t know if I would actually use it. Since I have so many other pages and products to use. But with 5 kiddos, one with special needs, time is getting scarce for the fun stuff like scrapbooking! This year I am going to spoil myself and buy the kit.
Then spoil the kids with lots of good memories! I’ll be right in line “online”!
I know I have to be reminded every so often about the important things in life among all the hustle and bustle this time of year.

Thanks for the update Becky. Just two weeks left to complete my current year of Project Life! This will make my second full year of Project Life and I am ready to start my third year on January 1.
I will be happy to get mine in time to begin Jan 1. However, I will not be buying the 4 more for sisters and sister in laws that I planned to bring with me as presents for them. I thought it would be fun if I could get them started while we are all visiting from out of state over the Christmas weekend. Would have been nice to all do together on the one weekend we are all sitting together at the same home. Oh well maybe 2012.

Who is the author of the Night Before The Night Before Christmas? Nielson book data came up with several hundred options!

Christmas came early for me this afternoon…my hubby handed me my 2011 Amber Project Life kit! Arrived at his office this morning!!
Had fun opening it and started to put it together. I love the new binder size…much easier to handle and the graphics in the Amber collection. I’m going to post a picture of me with my gorgeous PL box in the PL gallery over at Big Picture Scrapbooking!

2011 will be my third year of doing Project Life. I haven’t always taken a picture a day (especially this year), but have still come away with beautiful albums full of wonderful memories.

one question though I am not sure if it has been addressed but will Amazon be receiving more of these due to the high demand PL had last year? My next payday falls on 30th/31st so I am just hoping and keeping fingers crossed there are still some in stock to order then! (I am an often struggling full time working mama who is starting grad school in January yikes! So have the good ole paycheck to paycheck living going on at this moment LOL).
I’ve already started taking my daily pictures…I don’t need to wait for the kit to get going on this!

this year I started a christmas basket for my daughter and it is full of xmas dvds, books and CDs.. after seeing this book on here I’ve just checked out Ebay for it and am lucky enough to find a copy here In Australia…and discovered there’s also a Richard Scarry book of the same name..thanks for all you do Becky n hope you n your family had a wonderful Christmas and that 2011 brings you all you could wish for :0)
