This is fantastic! I love it and wish I could try something like this but flowers are so expensive here and we do not have the sort of sales and coupons you have in the States. I was looking just yesterday and one stem was $9.00 – too much! Anyway I love yours and well done on the videos, I am really enjoying them.

    Cheers

  2. Chris says:

Very pretty, Becky:) You make it look so easy, not sure I could do it that well:) Love the end result!!! Happy Holidays!

  3. scrappysue says:

Looks wonderful Becky! Really enjoying the videos, thank you!

  4. Carol says:

This arrangement is so pretty. I’ve really enjoyed your florals over this past year. I had kind of gotten away from doing the faux florals, but you peaked my interest in it again, and I’ve had so much fun. I just love how they can bring such a pop of color & life (even though they are faux) to an otherwise blah table top. I’m really enjoying your 12 days of videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

  5. Karen W says:

Becky, love the arrangement and I will be giving it a try for sure! Thanks for sharing

    Becky,

Thank you so much for showing us inexpensive ways to spruce up our homes. I have never really shopped at TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshalls. I read about the great finds that you purchase at those stores all the time. I think this weekend I’m going to give them a try. Maybe I’ll find some grat treasures for my home!

  7. Mandie Wade says:

Love it! You make it look too easy :)

  8. Thank you so much! I really enjoyed it! You inspired me to try one!:)

ps. We had our family photo shoot on Saturday that we won through your contest. It was awesome! Thanks so much!

  9. debbie susee says:

Love the way that turned out. Gorgeous!!

  10. {vicki} says:

So pretty–it’s been years since I have done an arrangement.

I would love for you to share your wrappd gifts with us—I JUST KNOW they are all so beautifully wrapped with great bows tied on them?—I have trouble doing bows and making my gifts look pretty—could you help?

  11. Love making arrangements for the holiday (even Halloween) and I always winge-it the first time I make them. It is so much fun. Don’t forget that when cutting you do it a little at a time, because you can always cut some more but you can’t add if you cut too much.

  12. Denine says:

So crafty aren’t you! Love it,
I really like what you are standing in front of…. is that a pantry? your fridge? I love whatever it is.

  13. Rhadonda says:

Beautiful. I may just have to give it a try. And thinking ahead to the after Christmas 90% off sales for next year!! Thanks for the inspiration as usual.

  14. Robynn says:

Thanks for not getting it right the first time! I love that… makes me feel better about my “almosts!” Your final result was lovely.

  15. Leah Larson says:

    Hi Becky:
I loved Mary Anne’s video. It gave me a lot of great ideas for my album. Thank you for adding it.

  16. Beth says:

Thanks for taking some of the intimidation out of crating a large arrangement! I always stick to small stuff, but I think your video has given me a little confidence! Thanks for showing your mistakes, too. We are all human, but sometimes our favorite bloggers seem a little larger than life! Your arrangement turned out beautifully!

  17. Brooke says:

Thanks for sharing! I love it that you didn’t edit out the mistake of not buying enough flowers. It was good to see the holes and how you filled them. Fruit was a good addition!

  18. Brooke says:

Oh yea, did you distress the refridgerator door your self?

  19. Thanks Becky for sharing this with us. I have admired your past arrangements that you have posted photos of and wondered how hard it would be. You are so adorable with your added text comments. Too funny. Can’t wait to see the finished product! It is really pretty so far.

  20. Molly says:

    Becky,

Thank you so much for taking the time to video this step by step. I have done some arranging but used small pebbles instead of foam b.c I didn’t know otherwise. I did make mine symmetrical but didnt’ know about sm, med, large. Thank you for making this seem doable!
    Molly

  21. Karla says:

thanks for sharing! It looks great…

  22. Jodi J says:

As always Becky, you have provided wonderful inspiration to me. I love doing floral arrangements but have never tried one for the holidays. Now, I know what I may be doing over the next few days!!! Happy Holidays to you and your family :)

  23. bdaiss says:

Okay I have a question…and maybe someone already asked and I missed it. What the heck do you do with all of it after the season? Just store it in bags/boxes/totes until next year? I always love the faux florals at the store but I just don’t know what the heck I’d do with it all when not in use. You know, so I wouldn’t have to clean it every year. : ) Do you store them by season? Or just a couple big totes so you can mix it up each season/year/event?

  24. Claudia Davis says:

You make it looks soooooooo easy. For some reason I never seem to be able to make floral arrangements look nice, but I plan try my luck with some of your ideas. Thanks!

  25. Alison says:

I am loving your videos, Becky..thanks for taking the time to share your inspiring ideas with us

  26. AniB says:

Thanks for sharing the video. I’d love to see a pic of the final arrangement.

  27. Please make another video of you filling it in! This was wonderful! I’m cracking up over the person above who had never gone to TJ’s, Ross or Marshalls. Those are almost the only places I shop. She is in for a nice surprise!

  28. Pam says:

Loving the videos, thanks for making them! The arrangement looks great so far, can’t wait to see it when you’re finished.

  29. Heather says:

    Becky:

I noticed your little lines around your eyes have disappeared! :-) It looks nice.

  30. Veronique says:

Thank you for making it look so easy! I went out and got my supplies today – will compose and arrange tomorrow. Can’t wait to try something new.

Can you please post the “reflection” photos from a while back.

    Thank you Becky.
    Veronique

  31. Shawna says:

Love, love, love the music and videos. Way to go and THANK YOU!

  32. Andrea Johnson says:

I too was wondering how you store all your off season things! I have a VERY disorganized storage room in my basement. Any special tips or things you use to store your things?

    Thanks,
    Andea Johnson

  33. Abby V says:

Love the video. Thanks for showing us the basics of creating an arrangement! I am now heading off off to Michaels to see what I can come away with!!

  34. Denise says:

Becky- Thanks for being real & genuine with us. When you realized you didn’t have enough florals you didn’t stop the video, get more and redo the whole thing- you rolled with it. You’re realness shows through the video and encourages us to try it too… it takes away a huge part of the intimidation to know you can recover from something like that.

I think that’s one of the reasons I really love your products, your videos & your blog: you’re genuine & take away a lot of the stumbling blocks that prevent us from starting to be creative in the first place! So, Thank You- from someone who easily can be intimidated & scared off from trying new things.

-Denise (a soon-to-be a Project Life 2011 Turquoise Edition owner)

  35. Jessica says:

Were the fruit on sticks? I’m going to watch that last bit to see if I can tell. If they aren’t how did you attach them. Also how do you clean your arrangements?

  36. Jackie Anderson says:

    Miss Becky-
Is there any chance your sketches book (Best of) will be printed again??? I have been looking for quite some time……..and I am finding it for 90-200 dollars!!!!! I really love your sketches, but I think that hubby would, well, I respect him to much to spend that on a book!

Praying blessings on you and your family,
    J

  37. Christine K says:

    Hi Becky,
Thanks for providing me the inspiration to tackle a floral arrangement. My first stop is to buy a pair of wire cutters!

  38. Karen Peterson says:

Love the arrangement; also love the shirt you are wearing; where did you get it? I like how it is long enought to cover upper arms ;)

Now I’ll also have to look twice at the floral dept in the craft store.

  39. AniB says:

Love the final arrangement. I’m inspired to try this the next time there’s a sale in my area.

  40. Janna says:

I’m loving your video series. I also love the displays created by Kerri Bradford. I have had a wishblade for a long time. I have seen various files for sale here and there, but this was my first time to see Kerri Bradford’s work. It’s amazing! If I win, I’m definitely buying a 7 Gypsies tray and making those for my home! Thanks for the chance to win!

    • Janna says:

Oops…I was reading in google reader and clicked over to comment. Just realized I commented on the wrong post. Sorry about that.

  41. Dyana says:

Is that your refrigerator behind you? If so, I’m in love!! So, if you’re ever doing your question & answer segment, could you tell us about it. Can someone just make new doors for an existing fridge? Not to take away from the video, the flowers are gorgeous too, but my eye was focused in on the fridge.

  42. Debbie from Illinois says:

Becky, I was floral designer and I have a hint for you. After you put the floral foam in your container cover the top with some dried Spanish moss or sheet moss. This can be found at craft stores. They also sell some U shaped pins that will help you secure the moss. Then if you do have holes around the base of your arrangement it is not so noticeable. Hope this helps. :)

    Merry Christmas!!!!

  43. Kim says:

Becky, I love this.. Where did you buy all the flowers you used?

  44. annika de nooij says:

    Hi Becky,

Here in Holland the children makes things like this at school (not that big) with a candle in it and real green and holly. It’s a sort of tradition for years (I can remember I made one too, when I was going to the basisschool).

And it’s not that expensive. The green is from our christmastree, the holly from grandma’s garden and the berries (without holly) sells her grandpa to the flower auction. And the decoration, well she does it every year so after christmas it goes in boxes for next year.

    Merry christmas!

  45. Stephanie says:

I love this! I have never tried my hand at floral arrangments but now this is something I am going to have to try! PS I love your kitchen. And is that your fridge behind you in this video? Would love to see more of it. Maybe a video tour of your kitchen and how u organize it, is in order. I would love to know who designed your fridge.

    Merry Christmas!
    Stephanie
