1. Today there are two well-loved blogs featuring us: Tom Kat Studio and Where Women Create. There are a few pictures of our home office on the WWC post, for those who have been asking for pictures. And … I am giving away Project Life in both places. So if you head on over and leave a comment on both posts, you have double chances of winning a free kit. : )
2. Inventory update. As most of you know, we sold out of kits. This is temporary. We are expecting more Project Life kits to become available on Amazon by the end of January.
3. Facebook is not wanting to cooperate with me at all today. Not sure what’s up there. Those of you who get my Facebook feed probably know it’s pretty unusual for me to not share at least a couple ideas/tips/links/anecdotes on a weekday. Hopefully that’s up & running again.
4. I ordered both designs of the brand-new Photo Pocket Pages and Journaling Cards and they came in the mail! Which means … many of you must also be receiving your orders as well. Super excited about the potential with these basic, basic, basic ingredients to simplified scrapbooking. More idea-sharing coming soon.

I have been a fan of yours since your CK days, your always a inspiration. It has been a joy to watch your family grow and your studio!!! I would be thrilled to bits to win the Turquoise kit!!
Got my pocket pages and journaling cards in the mail too! Snow day today, so once my kids were worn out and baby napping – I starting working on my Project Life. Love it!!! Thanks so much!
I can’t wait til’ more amber project life kits are available. I covet you work space!
I just discovered Project Life yesterday and am so bummed that they are currently sold out. I used to scrapbook regularly and like many got burned out on never being caught up. I have a 6 mth old so I am really excited to discover the Project Life alternative to traditional scrapbooking. Please hurry with more inventory!
I became a FAN of your wonderful product just TODAY – and am totally blown away and so excited to purchase some. I would LOVE to win either of them – thank you for such an innovative product! Amazing.
I just ordered my Turquoise kit on Amazon… just now!! I’m so excited to start Project Life 2011 (I’m already taking photos of course) and I can’t wait for it to be delivered sometime between Jan 13 – 15th.
Please pick me. I’m cultivating a good life and trying to record it.
I ordered the vertical protectors also. Thought the variety would be nice.
Love Project Life.
Becky,
Can you please tell me the size of your office/workplace? I have been trying to explain to my husband what I would like in a scrapbook room.

Got my vertical protectors and journaling cards a few days ago! I’m gonna use the journaling cards as well on my layouts! Love them!
I have a problem with my pictures and the page protectors and I’m hoping someone has a better solution than tape or sewing them all tight
My photo printer printed my pictures in a “tru-digital” format which makes the prints 5 1/4 inch wide instead of the 6 inches …. so every time you turn the page in the album the top row of pictures fly out of the sleeves.
Any ideas how to easily keep the photos in their pockets?
Thanks!!
You could use a glue dot to hold down the photos.
You could always mount them on a coordinating double sided piece of scrapbook paper.
Pick another photo printer. If the printer you use doesn’t offer the option to print true 4 x 6 then take your business somewhere else. You shouldn’t have to hassle with mounting it on cardstock or adding glue dots (which won’t work since the photos will be in there back to back).
Just set the size of your print to 4 by 6 rather than actual size – it will cut a bit off (but it is unlikley to matter) but they will be 4 by 6.
You are always an inspiration. I subscribe to your blog and now I’m a fan of yours on FB. Thank you for the chance to win the Turquoise kit!!
I received my pocket pages and journaling cards yesterday! I love them both. I am so excited that I now have the Turquoise kit and the extra set of pages that hold the 6×4 photos. Love this kit Becky. The quality is every thing I expected and more.
Mary
I ordered my extra pocket pages and journaling cards yesterday and I can’t wait for them to get here. I am so impressed with the paper turquoise kit. I have already completely scrapbooked and journaled my first week (January 1-7.) Thanks for all of the inspiration, with such great products and great photo ideas on your blog, I know I can find something great to scrapbook every day this year. Thanks again, for a truly remarkable and very cost effective product.
Thanks for another wonderful opportunity. Have last years Project Life and I certainly could fill the new one as well
Working on this past year has been awesome. Would be honored to win one to have on hand for next October.
Wow…I love the Amber set! Great idea!
Love the journaling cards and the Amber Kit! Great to see you on TomKat!
i just got my first project life book (turquoise) and want so badly to order 2 of the amber for my girls!!! very excited to get started…even got me to organize my photos! wish i would of known about your products sooner!
I’d love to win a digital kit! Thanks!
I want to say thank you again for Project Life. It is amazing and the possibilities for utilizing it are endless. I just today completed my 2008 annual book using the original digital month at a glance format.
I want an Amber edition to drop photos from 2005 and 2006 into and do some quick journaling. I am doing Turquoise for 2011.
I have visions of people using this format to go back YEARS and get all those old pictures into albums. It just works.
Hi, Becky! I see that several people are doing Project Life differently. (Carrie Colbert and Stacey Julian) Would it be possible to have an area somewhere to show how people are doing it differently?
I’m very into thinking outside the box. I got the Amber edition. I LOVE it! Thanks!
I am a fan ….big big fan of TomKat on FB
Becky… such a big fan… loved your “12 Videos of Christmas” – but I really love your neat and well organized blog with all the awesome tips. Thanks so much. Would love to win a Project Life 2011 Album… Amber or Turquoise please. Can’t wait to see some of your pages for January!
Luv the idea of going back thru the years using Project Life! Thanks for a chance to win the Amber Edition
I LOVE this concept!!!!!!! I enjoy scrapping but I swear there are not enough hours in the day to complete everything. I spent a year in Iraq and have a years worth of photos and so many notes on things I saw and felt. The experience was amazing and what a perfect way to capture it. This would be a perfect way to complete this project. And this will prompt me to finish my other travel albums. I would love to win Amber or Turquoise!!!!! Thank you!!!!!
Prettiest workshop I ever saw! Beautiful kits!
I’d love a Project Life kit, but live in the UK and it’s just too expensive to import. It’d be a perfect way to organise all those photo’s that I don’t have time to scrap with. Jude.x
I just found out about your project life kits and would love to use your products. I have a blog and take lots of photos of my family. I love the way you designed your kits to be so simple and easy to use. It is definitely a great way to track wonderful memories!
Love The giveaways that for the Project Life Kit on TomKat and Where Women Create. Hope to win the Turquoise kit. Do like how your office is a similar color was that a source of inspiration? 2010 was a rough year for my family and would love to keep a record of pictures to track things that are important to me and my family.
Love your Project Life Kits But am disappointed that I am unable to order them. They are out of stock or amazon can’t send them to me. Which is very disappointing as I have recieved other things through amazon. I live in Australia and the connection you give on your webaite for us doesn’t have the different style page protectors or the grid journalling cards. Will they be avaiable to us through this connection along with the whole kits or do I have to miss out this year.
Project Life is the best thing since sliced bread. I love bread. wouldn’t matter which one if I won. they all fill up the same. Both look great.
Hi Becky, I live in Australia and ordered my Project Life through the New Zealand site, but they have run out of stock of the extra pocket pages and journaling cards. Any ideas when they will get some more stock as Amazon wont let me order them and I dont know anyone in the US that I can get it sent to..
Thanks
I would love to have one of these – not sure it is in the cards for this year!!! But hoping soon
Would really like the amber kit – have been to all the blogs, added favorites – done mine thing – here’s wishing me luck
Hey Becky,
I’m just wrapping up my Jan 1-8 documenting for Project Life. This is my first year. I bought last year’s model on Black Friday. I’m loving the intersection of simplicity and possibilty with this project. Just loving it. My plan is to include a weekly mix of ephemera, a few photos and journaling – whatever form that will take for the week. I’m thinking this could easily turn into an inspiration tracking journal for me – what colors, fonts, designs, home dec, foods, clothes, travel. living in my town ideas are speaking to me this week – combined with everyday photos. I’m jazzed to be able to look back at this in December and see what I’ve incorporated, what’s still a dream and what was maybe a passing fancy. Like a time capsule, in a way. Thanks again for creating this opportunity!
Project LIfe! Yeah!
I just love the turquoise! I think it is my new favorite color! Just sending a little hello from Tom Kate Studios.
Hi, another customer/fan living in Australia wanting to know whether more pocket pages will be available to buy through the New Zealand site??
Thanks.
I have a VERY special sister in law who would LOVE Project Life – but it is not in their budget this year. She would be ecstatic to win.
I like many others just discovered Project Life and I think it is amazing! I would love to start one on my own but I saw that all the kits are sold out. Are you going to get more kits in? So excited if you do
Thanks, Trisha
oops…I just saw that these kits will be available again soon, I am so excited. Thanks again
I love the Turqoise one. Have tried to order and have been unsuccessful. On my Birthday I hit the milestone, the big 5-0. I think this would be a great way to document my 50th year. So winning one would be a grand Birthday wish come true.
I just started at the beginning of the year and love the product. I ordered the Amber kit and think if I was lucky enough to win I would want the Turquose one too.
Totally lovin’ doing PL life this year. I actually spend time thinking about what I want to document fo the day. Thanks so much for your inspiration!
Misty
A good friend of the family and of mine, love to scrapbook. She was so generous to buy me a project life and I started in November of last year, which was the start of my wedding week, married on November 6, and have had such a fun time taking pictures and documenting our 1st year of marriage and will be giving it to my husband on our 1 year anniversary. I have an 18 year old cousin, who was in my wedding, who is graduating from high school and going to Knox College in the fall and I’m planning on giving her a Project Life for her graduation! I hope she will enjoy it as much as I do!
I LOVE my project life. I would totally gift it to a good friend!
How awesome does Project Life look!? Never used it yet, but I think it would be amazing. Loving the turquoise one.
Just getting started on my PL kit! And headed to a PL get started party…..would LOVE to win one for a friend to go too! She tried to order, but missed it. (We are still watching for it to come back in stock of course!)
I so so so excited to hear you are releasing more kits!!! When I went to order and they were sold out I was so sad. I thought about just doing it on my own but then got overwhelmed and decided not to. They kit is a huge time saver!
Any chance you will be offering the predesigned 3×4 cards that I’ve seen in the newest versions of Project Life as a separate purchase? I ordered the blank journaling cards, but I really love the designs I’m seeing of the printed ones and have lots of “blank” days to fill in as I catch up on my 2010 album. Thanks!
I love, love, love to have PL but is not in my budget, I tried to put in but no at the moment
I just hope to have good luck and win one of them. Becky love your idea of PL, Thanks.
Becky, I love the idea of Project Life and am so inspired by you!! I am not in a position to purchase a kit at this stage but am taking a picture a day and storing the pictures and hope to “catch up” one day. Meanwhile I love checking your blog daily for inspiration.
I also just checked the links you provided and had a “jaw dropping moment” when I saw your home office. WOW!! It is absolutely gorgeous!!! Love love love it. What a beautiful haven…I know-funny choice of words for a work space -but it looks like such a special place to hang out to me. I’d feel excited and inspired just being in that room lol. You are very talented at creating such beautiful things -be it spaces or keepsakes.
Also wanted to say how much I enjoyed your 12 videos. All of them were treats in the “time outs” I managed to grab between festive preparations this past month. I just caught up on the last one after being away from the Net and WOW! Made me feel so emotional ..After years and years of longing to be a Mama I am a bit obsessive about trying to capture every minute of my precious son’s life to make time stand still…they grow SO fast …and I want to remember everything…I felt the love you have for your family captured so beautifully in your video and understand it as I feel the same. Thank you for inspiring new ways of treasuring every moment – as you would say, even the mundane moment in life is a precious gift when you appreciate and are grateful for what you have. God bless you as you continue to rejoice in the gift of life. ( and sorry this got so long! I DO realise you are a busy woman!!!)
Love,
Alison, Australia
I love the Project Life idea. What a way to catch up on past and future pictures. I am trying to win your Amber edition. Keep up the awesome work with PL. It has been a blast following your blog.

I wish i had a dozen and more to give to the families over here in Queensland Australia. We have had an Inland Tsunami hit the Lockyer Valley/Darling Downs and its been devastating. Would be lovely to give a familes one of these to document in. Or wish i had one to auction or something to raise money to help.
