inspired. and another giveaway.

Okay, so seriously. Seriously you’d think I have drummed up some sort of Project Life Dream Team or something. While that actually sounds like a terrific idea — Hmmm. I’ll tuck that away for later. — I am realizing over and over again that there are just amazing and talented and GOOD people out there. Everywhere.

And today I’d like to share a few of them with you. Maybe they’re familiar to you. Maybe not. Either way, they each have really fantastic Project Life ideas to share. And that’s just what they’ve been doing on each of their respective blogs. They each explain their individual approach to the project. I didn’t ask them to; They’re just awesome like that.

And that, of course, is the key to Project Life. Which is … approach it the way you want to. Make the project adapt to you. Have a look at these very inspiring articles by clicking on the links. And if you’ve done something similar (thank you!), feel free to leave a comment with a link to your blog too.

Un-related to Project Life, but I’m super excited for Becki Crosby and her “baby”. She’s put a lot of hard work into making her vision a reality. Did you hear about Whippy Cake’s newly-launched website and the new product line of deliciously tempting accessories? I’m loving. You’ve gotta check it out.

Oh, and pssst. While you’re there you must click on her BLOG because guess what? Yep — It’s a Project Life Giveaway. Enter to win! In the meantime, I’ve got my eye on the “muffy”. Aaaand a few others.

I need someone to let me know if I will be receiving replacements for the items I listed in the Project Life form. I’ve tried several times to leave a comment for customer service and all I get is an error, saying I did not give my e-mail address. Can someone please help me out here. I’m getting frustrated with not being able to start my Project Life kit.

  10. Molly says:

I brought my Project Life binder to work today to show off, and have already emailed a link to the Products page to 3 different coworkers who want to start their own Project Life projects! Thanks for making such a fabulous product, Becky!

  11. ErinK says:

Becki, I would just like to say thank you. You must be an amazing person! I know that alot of giveaways are based on promoting a product (which I am sure is part of your giveaways) but the fact that you are so give is so awesome. I love that you are such a cheerleader for your customers, that you take the time to share their ideas…you ROCK. Thanks for not only awesome products and ideas but for putting all of your goodness out into the universe…GOD knows we can all use it!

BTW your kiddos are too cute!

  12. Katie W says:

Love the posts but sad at the same time. I am going to a weekend crop tomorrow and my PL kit was supposed to be here on Tuesday. Apparently it was “Lost in Transit” Amazon was totally unhelpful and didn’t even want to look in to the situation. Just offered a refund and that was it. I had 600 pics from 2010 overnighted on Monday so that I would have this to work on the weekend and now I am left with nothing but 600 pics. Keep sharing all the cute ideas but very bittersweet at the moment. Any idea when they will be back in stock? (Not that I am excited about having to order from Amazon again!)

  13. Kristin says:

My lif is crazy but not really “fun picture” material. My kids love last years and my kids friends even love last years Project Life. And now that I have looked at all these other peoples albums and stuff I have CHANGED my MIND!! I am totally ordering as soon as they are back in stock!!!!!!! Thanks So Much!!!!

  19. Niki Estes says:

Becky, could we get an update on when the Project Life kits might be available again? I missed out on them and would love to do one similar to how Ali is approaching the kit. It would be a great way to jot down things my baby and older kids are doing this year along with all the family stuff. Thanks!

I wanted to add a couple that I think are inspiring…The first is Autumn- she is sooo inspiring and I love the look of her pages, etc. Her Blog is : http://www.simplyautumn.com … and I heard back from MaryAnn (the Thank you BH video creator) and hers is: http://www.cherisheveryday.com I’ve been putting together my 2010 the past couple of days and it has made me sooooo happy to see my pictures finally in one place and enjoying looking back. I love it so much that I am going to go back a couple of years as well. I keep up a blog so I can go back to do any journaling from there :) THANK YOU so much for coming up with this GENIUS idea! You ROCK Becky! :)

I’ve thought about doing project life. But I don’t have much of a life. I tried the Pic a Day and only made it 100 days. I’m going to try to get a life and then do project life. *sigh*

  25. Ana says:

Love all her stuff so adorable!

  26. Peggy says:

    Becky,
I found out about your books from Mish’s blog recently when she started sharing the one she had started. I too have been discouraged because I haven’t been able to keep up with scrapbooking our family history. I am excited and have been trying to learn out as much as I can about how these albums work. I just love the concept which is a totally different approach than what I have taken in the past but I believe could be a much needed change. I would love to win an album of my own. I also love the name “Project Life”, so appropriate. Thank you for thinking outside the box and making something that can be completed with some effort.
    God bless,
    Peggy Allen
