……….

We feel the excitement. I think these happy customers do too.  : )

……….

I so enjoy hearing from so many who get it. They get how Project Life is designed to be a SOLUTION. Here is a recent email from Courtney in Florida:

Becky, I just wanted to share a little something I figured out this afternoon. I was on the phone with my very good friend Sally today, talking to her about Project Life and how great it has been for me. This is my second year purchasing PL and I was trying to explain how it has REVOLUTIONIZED the way I look at scrapbooking (and yes, I mean REVOLUTIONIZED!). She mentioned she was not sure if she wanted to get it this year because she hadn’t “caught up” from previous years and doesn’t want to start yet “another” scrapbook.

THAT was when it hit me. I suddenly burst out, saying “That’s what I’m trying to tell you! I feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders… From now on, I will ALWAYS be caught up on my scrapbooking!”. It may sound a bit cheesy, but I feel so free! Not only do I have a plan for all of my future scrapbooks, but I have a plan for all the scrapbooks I feel so “behind” on!! I even know how I want to do my future children’s scrapbooks based on your simple concept. It’s very obvious that your products come from your heart, you put a lot into them and it shows! I look forward to all of your future projects!

Thank you from the bottom of my crafty little heart :)

Courtney

……….

This is an email from Michelle in Woodbrige, Virginia:

I bought the Project Life kit last July and being half way through the year, and being slightly OCD about such things, I decided that I couldn’t start until Jan 1, 2011.  Yeah, I am like that. And then inspiration struck this year and I knew why I was holding on to this book.  I have about 7 boxes of “old” memories.  Life before I was a scrapbooker and the less important life moments since I have been one. Things I couldn’t bear to part with but I couldn’t image doing a whole scrapbook page on.

And that is where Project Life comes in.  Next weekend I will join a great group of church ladies for a day of scrapping.  And my one goal is to use the book to “remember” those moments.  It is my project: Life.  It is not Project 365 (although I wish I was disciplined enough to do that).  It is literally snapshots and momentos of those moments that may not define me, but they are all pieces of the puzzle that is me. Thanks so much for all of the inspiration and for giving me a venue to remember this amazing life that God has given me!

I can’t wait to get another kit to focus on a personal journey as it relates to health, one little word, etc. I love my Project Life. As I started putting these first few weeks together I am realizing how it fits my OCD tendencies to chronological scrapbooking and saving lots of memorabilia. It used to pile up as I waited to put together my 12×12 pages. Now, I just stick my photos in, my notes in, my reciepts, my tags from stuff of colors I like, etc, the quotes the kids say – as it happens. I can still do my 12×12 spreads of events and stories but I am so freed up. Project Life is so simple but it is very complex in its impact and capabilities to help different personalities of memory-keepers. It allows us to get back into the project of Life. Thanks so much Becky.

    • Courtney from Florida says:

That’s exactly what I do! I love using 8×10 page protectors to add other things (menus, receipts, flyers, maps, invitations, etc). I also use the 8×10 photo pages (found mine at office depot!) to add a few more pics for the week! I seriously can’t wait to dig into the rubber-maid container I have filled to the brim with all the stuff I couldn’t bear to toss from previous years! I share your sentiment exactly :)

  17. Susan M says:

just ordered mine, it will be here by Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Angela says:

Do you know how many times I hit the refresh button today? All I could think of last night as I was trying to go to sleep was AH I hope Project Life goes on sale Monday morning, thank you! Can’t wait to get mine!

  19. Sandy says:

I just ordered mine. The family is waiting for me downstairs for dinner. I just had to check before I could eat a thing. I am so happy!!! This will come in time for an event I am going to and this will make a great project to assemble while chatting with friends.

    YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. Ellen McKinley says:

Thanks for sharing Michelle’s email–that’s exactly how I want to use my Project Life! Glad to know there are others out there with the same idea. Of course, I also have lots of other ideas about how to use it. . . maybe I should order 3!

  21. Danielle R says:

Yeah!!! I just ordered mine! After reading all the other posts, I’m glad I’m not the only stalker of Becky’s blog, FB, and Amazon! Thank God for my iPhone to do 15 minute checks, lol! Come on Jan. 27th!!! Now I will stalk my back porch…..

  22. Melissa says:

  25. Daisy says:

I blogged about my dilemma and hope maybe to get some guidance here! I’m a digiscrapper but love the Turquoise kit. I didn’t care much for the digital version of Project Life, so I’ve been doing my pages on Photoshop (my favorite program) with kits purchased from digi-stores. However, the more I read about the paper kits, the more I think I’d rather have a book with my handwriting and any extra mementos included. Before the Turquoise kit sells out again, I need to make up my mind! HELP!

  26. Tara M. says:

I was skeptical, I’ll admit. I waited so long to even consider buying PL back in the fall of 2010. I finally made my mind up to find out that after Thanksgiving, they were sold out. So I searched ebay, and was so lucky to get my hands on one. I finally received my “old” PL kit right after Christmas. I had already planned to do 2010, I already take so many pics and knew it would almost be a photo a day. So where am I in completing it, I only have about 4 months to go (with three little ones, that’ a HUGE accomplishment). I’m already in love with it.

Since I was skeptical, only because that’s not my usual way to scrapbook, I didn’t want to jump the gun on the awesome new designs. So by the time I realized how much I loved PL, the new kits were sold out too. REALLY? But Becky assured everyone, there was more to come, and she made it happen. So I can happily report, I have indeed ordered my PL kit and so ready to get cracking on 2011!

I think what has made this a great contribution to the way I scrapbook is that I can stay on top of things. I can also use it as a reference when I scrapbook those larger events later. My kids love to look at their scrapbooks, and I love to see it. So my plan for 2011, the kids will help me so that it’s not MY project, but OURS and we can all be proud of it. So thank you Becky for helping us make our Project Life a treasure!

  27. Sarah says:

This is the best news I’ve gotten all day! I feel as if I have been stalking your website/blog for updates ever since I decided that I wanted to participate in PL and discovered that it was sold out. I placed my order and eagerly wait for it’s delivery. (Hopefully hubby won’t be disappointed in this SPLURGE for me.)

  28. cheri p says:

Yippee!!! I just ordered mine…can’t wait to get started :)

  29. Well I certainly hope that they’ll still be in stock in a couple of weeks…we just can’t afford it right now. :( I’m bummed. Oh well.

  30. Karen says:

I have been in a huge wrestling match….with myself….for a couple years now! I really enjoy the uber creative scrapbooking, but a single layout can take days. And while some of my creative time has been taken over with responsibilities, some has been absorbed with other creative endeavors, and some has been reassigned to a good part of what inspires me, my family. Add (or subtract, depending on perspective) that all up and I don’t have the same time I used to have to scrapbook in that same way. So, I haven’t. I haven’t scrapped at all in a year and a half now. And quite simply, I am missing too many memories. They are getting lost in the daily shuffle. I don’t want that to happen anymore. So, its time to try something new, a new approach for me. And tonight, I ordered Project Life! I’m looking forward to seeing what I can make happen with it!! :>

  31. anna r. says:

    hi ms becky,
i wanted this sooooo badly! i share the exact sentiments of ms karen. i too have been a missing out on a lot of memories because i don’t have the same amount of time to scrapbook with the many things that i do… but i believe that this system WILL work for me….
unfortunately PL is not available here in the philippines. i tried your site in canada but they don’t deliver here in our country. is there any way i can order PL? any help will do… thanks a lot! :)

    anna

    • Hi Anna,

Your wish is my command! I just added the Phillippines to the shipping options at ScrapbookerInnerCircle.com. You should be able to get your Project Life kit now :)

      Tammy

  32. Tara B says:

Have to admit I too was watching all day at work from my blackberry…only to see it pop up that they were available as I was coaching cheer practice last night for my girls who are in Upward. Panic struck me and I couldn’t wait to get home so I could get mine ordered….which I did…and my Amber edition will be here soon!!!!

    Can’t wait to get started!!!

  33. Marcy says:

I’m doing two Project Life albums right now. One is current, and the other is beginning from 1987, from when I was pregnant with my twins. I love to scrapbook traditionally, but it just takes me too long to complete layouts, so if I continue with a picture (or two or three) a day, I’ll have documented the memories from 22 years ago in no time at all. It definately takes the stress off, and it’s so fun going back and reliving the early years. Not to mention having them all in a beautiful album instead of photo boxes! Oh how i wish this concept was around when my children were little! But I’ll improvise. I’ll add journal entries and “guesstimates” of dates and run with it. I Love Project Life! But I’m gonna need about 20 or more albums!

  34. Jennifer Christman says:

Just ordered my kit and extra pages! Can’t wait for Thursday!!! So fun to order my own birthday gift (my birthday is the 31st), now my hubby doesn’t have to worry about a thing!

  35. Kim D. says:

I’m a little disappointed because I was told that I would receive an e-mail “before” the general public was notified about Project Life being in-stock again. This is due to the fact that my first purchase of Project Life was defective and had to be returned.

    • Kim, I’m sorry to hear this. We did our best to notify those that we were in contact with about returning a defective kit … and your email must have somehow been overlooked. I do apologize. The good news is that we’re not sold out.

  36. CraftyCat says:

I love Michelle’s comment, because although I aspire to be a scrapbooker and have many saved momentos, photos, journals I just never seem motivated to scrap a page for each of these. BUT her idea resonated with me and maybe I will give that a try. Thanks for the inspiration!

  37. Carolyn Angstenberger says:

I am so sorry to say that I have had several page protectors torn open at the outside edge. Where should I go to find out about replacements? Thanks, I am enjoying doing this book!

  38. Conni says:

Really loving Michelle’s take on Project Life. I’ve not taken the Project Life plunge because I’m afraid I’ll fail. With this approach, it’s a no fail!

    Great Idea!

  39. Lindi says:

I have been wary of PL but having read all these posts and seen all these exciting photos, how can I remain wary? I have a question though – my ideal would be to do a book for each child – however costwise this is not really practical since we have 4 kids. How do all you converted PL’ers make up your albums with several kids?

  40. Jola says:

I feel happy for all of you! Sad for myself..cant order it because I life in the Netherlands.
Maybe something to think about for next year??

    Have fun ladies!

    Jola from the Netherlands

  41. Shannon says:

I am so excited! Yesterday I stalked just sure that PL would be available again and I was not disppointed! This will be my first PL and I am so excited to try my hand at something other than traditional scrapbooking which I burned out on long ago but still have all my stuff. I have a 7 month old and I could already see time slipping away and nothing actually put into a book yet – thank God for an alternative!! I can’t wait til it gets here – 2 day free shipping with Amazon so I’m hoping that means tomorrow!!!!

  42. Jola says:

Sorry, what is was trying to tell is that the shippingcosts are so high, its 85 dollar.
I think its time that dutchscrapstores are going to invest in this. Iam sure there is a market for it! :>))

Jola again, from the Netherlands ;>)

  43. Karin says:

I am so excited! I just started 11 days ago doing a 365 for both of my children. My 3 year old has leukemia and I want to have a album of his year in treatment, the good the bad the ugly. I pulled out all my scrap booking stuff and knew I would not have time for that. So instead I bought a photo album with sleeves for the pictures but no place to journal, so each days journeling was going over the top of pictures which really took away from the look. This is exactly what I was looking for! I ordered the amber kid for my 8 month olds album and the turquoise for my 3 year old hero.

  44. Karen says:

Today I spent my lunch break ordering the Amber Proj life kit, I can HARDLY wait to get this in the mail! This will be my first time doing project life, I am so inspired by all the sharing, POTD ideas and how many folks have said it is “do-able” — I missed out on the first round of kits because I was really worried about being able to keep up with something like this and waited too long to order! CAN’T WAIT to begin this journey!!!!!!!!

  45. Lida says:

Well, I had not plan of getting this year’s Project Life, however, checking out Ali’s blog and havng photos I have already taken and have any place to put them but in a pile, I ordered my PL amber tonight so I can catch up!! I will be happy when it gets here.

By the way, I can’t figure out what POTD means, does it mean picture of the day? Please help!

I wish I had not held out for so long, I glad it has been restocked.

    • Gypsy says:

You’re right – POTD is photo of the day!

I started my PL in September when my twins started their last year of high school. LOVE IT.
I can write novellas without thinking, so the journaling cards are challenging – fitting everything on one, finding the shorter way to say something. OTOH the cards are super easy to do.
