Project Lifers ROCK.

There are thousands who have embarked on a journey called PROJECT LIFE. These are just a few of those who have trusted that this approach to scrapbooking is truly flexible to meet their needs. They are taking pictures and jotting down memories and putting those things together – with ease, with relief, with enthusiasm. They are using Project Life as a solution for documenting life.

My heart is full. I am overwhelmed (in a good way) by the comments and emails and blog posts that you’re writing about how Project Life has helped you and what significance it has in your life. I am grateful that you’re sharing the Project Life love with your friends.

I know I’ve said these things before. I just wanted to say thanks again.

And I’m pleased to give you an update on the timing of MORE inventory on its way since we’ve been sold out for a week or two. We are expecting more kits to arrive to Amazon early next week. Notice that I said “expecting” … not “promising”.   : )  When they arrive, I’ll announce it here on my blog, on facebook, twitter, and in an eBlast. There are no pre-orders.

***Amazon is for U.S. customers only. Our international distributers in New Zealand and Canada are also receiving more inventory as well — just not quite as soon.

Join me in crossing fingers, toes, and maybe even eyes … that all will go smoothly with the arrival of more Project Life kits this coming week. I am super excited to welcome thousands more to the Project Life par-tay!

    Hi Becky,
I can’t wait to order my Project Life kit when they arrive-thanks for the update.
Weird question for you…how did you get that collage of pictures onto your blog? Did you create it in Photoshop and upload it here or did you do it a different way. I’ve been wondering-thanks! I’m not very techy and I need all the help I can get. Thanks so much.

    • Yep – Photoshop. Just cropped each picture 1″ x 1″ and put them all on a 5″ x 5″ canvas. I know there is a faster/easier way to do this — I’m just sure of it — but this is how I know how to do it.

      I’m techie to a point. But only to a point. : )

Thanks for the Project Life update. I have been checking Amazon twice a day (plus your blog, of course) in the hopes they’ll be back in stock. You could say I’m just a little eager to get started!

Yay, I can’t wait! I am so excited to start this project. Thanks, Becky!

Yipipee! Can’t wait for the kits to come back in stock!! What happens when this batch sells out? Is that it?

  6. Judy Powers says:

Hey, that’s me! Thanks, Becky…this is the most exciting thing to happen to me all week! Actually, I was just sitting here thinking about what my POTD should be…well, problem solved! Thanks again for such a meaningful way to record the everyday!

Back when I used to scrapbook I LOVED everything you did! Yesterday I re-discovered you and saw your site and Project Life for the first time. I am wanting to do a book of my parents married life to celelbrate their upcoming 50th wedding anniversary. Any suggestions on what book would be best? I am hoping to do sometthing digital. I want simple but classy, where the pictures and minor journaling are the focus. Thanks for any suggestions.

I think the digital Project Life kit would be perfect. Instead of thinking ‘weeks’, think ‘years’!
      After the great fact that the kit has all the pieces coordinated, and things laid out, and all the hard [often boring] parts done, the best part is that you can order multiple copies of the final book! {Well, verify that multiple book comment; 99% I’m right.}

  8. Bree Ross says:

Yeah! There I am! Thanks for helping me LOVE to scrapbook again in the midst of a busy life! <3

I’m so glad to hear there are more kits on the way soon. They sold out before I could order one last time :( I can’t wait to get the turquoise one!!

  10. Jennifer says:

Okay, I guess I really need to get my tooshie in gear and finish 2010. I just can’t justify ordering 2011 unless I am at leasr relatively close to finishing last year’s album…even though I can’t wait to get my greedy little hands on the new stuff!! :)

  11. Jennifer says:

Yes! Two on them babies have my name on them!

Yay for Project Life! Mine arrived a few days ago; I ordered the Amber kit and totally, absolutely LOVE it. Its just so me. I am so proud of myself for completing last years (have a history of not completing things). DH sat on the sofa last night and read every single entry; it was fabulous re-living all those moments that would have been lost. Thanks Becky, PL really does ROCK!!!

  13. Simona says:

Hi Becky… do you think that in the future is it possible to purchase the kit in Italy or Europe? I can’t get it in Canada because shipping is very high!! I like these kit so much.. but I give up :(
I hope that it will be possible!!
    Ciao,

Your New Zealand distributers have set up for pre-orders, so I have happily locked in my order for both kits. This is my first year for Project Life, I am planning to use one kit for 2011 and one to go back and complete 2010 while it’s still fresh. I haven’t done any scrapbooking since my six-year-old was a baby, it’s so hard to find time and I feel hopelessly behind. I’m looking so forward to this simplified approach to documenting our lives. Can’t wait to get mine and I’m already looking forward to seeing the designs for 2012!

  15. Ronnie says:

I am very happy to report that my 2010 is now 100% COMPLETE! What a feeling!

I was able to keep up with the photos, but the journalling fell behind from about August. It took a entire afternoon, but I completed the lot and it feels fantastic!

I already have Turquoise PL 2011 Kit set up and the first two weeks completed. I absolutely love this concept.

One of my favourite things – adding little pieces of journalling that don’t necessarily have a photo, but really explore what happens in our house each week. Eg “Bec received the call she had been waiting for – she had the job!” Not every single moment has a piece of memorabilia or photo, but I love that it is captured in the chronological story of our lives…

  16. LAceyA says:

Hey its me among those PL lifers! :) i<3 Project Life!!! I am almost finished with 2010 (I started almost 2 weeks ago!!) and will be caught up for what I have for Jan 2011 so far. Even though its not completely finished, I love going back and looking at what I have so far. If anyone is on the fence about doing this…DO IT! It took me 3 years, and I'm telling anyone that I wished that I hadn't waited this long. I can't wait to show my boyfriend and bonus son as soon as its finished (I'm hoping to have all of the pics in the pages before he comes over for the weekend. He's 11 and he loves looking at his album…I am willing to bet he will look at these albums ALOT!)… LOVE LOVE LOVE! Thanks again Becky :)

  20. Sharon says:

I would love to win a kit. I started this project the last quarter of 2010 and am having a lot of fun with it. I wish I would have done it for the whole year!

  21. Bridget says:

I would love one of these :)

  22. Lynn W says:

Becky, I know you’re super busy but you may want to think about having more PL kits in the future. I’m planning on ordering more kits so I can catch up on my backlog of photos from previous years. It would be nice if there were more choices of designs. I’d order past kits if I could find them. Love this concept!

  23. Melissa says:

Becky, I’m a first time “Project Life” user. I just got mine in the mail. I followed your instructions and did the pre-assembly. I must say I’m really enjoying the freedom of taking one picture a day. Its quite fun. Last weekend my husband and I were out kayaking with some friends when they saw me taking an unusual picture of my husband loading the kayak on our car (usually I take photos of us bobbing around in the ocean). I explained the POTD concept. Well, you just got two new Project Lifer’s. They’ve adopted the POTD theme. Now they need a Project life kit!

  24. DawnMarch says:

I’m a first time user too! I am usually a digital scrapbooker too, but I just feel like I need something a little more accessible for this year — I look forward to just dropping in the photos, notes and little momentos from our daily lives. I am not-so-patiently waiting for these to come in so I can get my turqoise version!

  25. Raven says:

I love this project! This is the first year I have discovered it, and I am hoping to get a copy from amazon when they are back in stock!

  26. Verona H says:

I finished 2009, but not 2010. It is so much fun to go back through 2009, and will mean more as the years go by, so I’m re-thinking 2011–I guess I should do it after all. I do enjoy taking a picture a day. It helps me be more aware of and enjoy my surroundings. Thank you for providing this outlet to all of us.

  27. Sherry says:

I am so excited at all the possible ways to use PL! I would love to get one for my daughters so they can begin documenting their families also……..
I am going to come up with a clever way to document this empty nest season of my life…with the grandangels or just us??? hmmmm…. what shall it be???
