{ project life tuesday }
We have seen awesome growth and positively fantastic sharing going on over at the official Project Life Community. So awesome! I wanted to let you know of yet another place to share and be inspired. The Mom Creative blog by Jessica Turner, will be resuming “Project Life Tuesday” today.
Says Jessica: “I started Project Life Tuesday in 2010 as a way of keeping up with my photos and encouraging others to do the same. I have found that if you are using Project Life as a Project 365, staying on top of your photos is key! By hosting this weekly link-up, myself and many others were encouraged to keep going all year.”
Each Tuesday, people are invited to blog their photos from the previous week and link their blogs posts on Jessica’s blog. She asks that you link to The Mom Creative and/or post the cute Project Life Tuesday button within their post. It is a fun way to everyone’s photos, get creative ideas, and stay accountable.
Today is the first Project Life Tuesday of 2011 over at The Mom Creative. Check it out and – should you feel inclined – link up! A huge thank-you to Jessica, who’s done an awesome job keeping many motivated about Project Life. I didn’t ask her to do any of that. She’s just a believer like me. She gets it. She uses it. She loves it. And she shares with others.

{ you have my permission }
I was deeply touched with the comments on yesterday’s post about the reminder to BREATHE. I’m so grateful that the message reached the people it needed to reach at the time they needed to hear it. I was asked about permission to print it.
Absolutely. You go right ahead.
I just took that picture on Saturday in Mesa, Arizona. It was an absolutely beautiful day. Awesome weather, yes. But more importantly our niece Kyra and her sweetheart Jason were married. It was such a happy, happy day.
Anyway — Just click HERE, right-click on the image, save it to your desktop, and feel free to print it any size you want for personal use. Or use it as your desktop image. Or share with friends. Whatever.

{ school kits }
I’m just going to be like a classified ad for just a moment, if you don’t mind. Many of you are familiar with the school kit I did a few years ago. Of course they’re sold out. I have a couple of friends who bought them, held on to them, never got around to using them, and would like to sell them … now knowing that I’m working on a new & improved school kit.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t worry about it. They’re not available anymore anyway. The more important thing to note is that I’ve been working on a new school kit that will be even more simplified than the original. I don’t have anything more specific to tell you for timing other than “this year”. I know. Very vague.
Of course you know I’m an updater. If you’re up on my blog, or getting my facebook or twitter feed, you will be the first to get those product updates.
So — if you’re interested in purchasing the “old” school kit, here are a couple people you can contact. I believe they each have 3-4 kits and Marji has 2 of those “bonus” kits with more materials & components.

{ facebook likers rock }
So … holy smokes people. We hit 15,000 “likers” on facebook last night. What!?!? Thank you so much! A few of you might be sitting on the fence. Do I follow Becky on facebook? Is it worth it?
Yep. You should. Because guess what? If you get my facebook (or twitter) feed, you are not only the very first to know of any product updates and get little bits of inspiration like Project Life ideas, and POTD ideas, but I share plenty of other useful stuff un-related to my products. Cool websites & blogs & articles to check out, my latest favorite thing to use or eat or read, great products, a notice every time there’s a new blog post, random tips, and an occasional personal anecdote.
And today, there has never been a better time to like me on facebook. Because I’m giving away Project Life! Because that’s fun to do. And because I like you too. We sold out of the kits just last week but as soon as the new inventory shows up in the next couple weeks (let’s say by the end of January to be safe) … I will personally place the order for the randomly-selected winner so they’re first in line to receive their kit from this next batch.
Just get on facebook like you normally do, click on my page (Becky Higgins LLC), and you see that cute little LIKE icon? Click it. And just like magic, you like me! : ) Then you’ll see my update about the contest pop up on your wall just like all other facebook updates that you get.

Thank you for sharing Project Life Tuesday! I hope it keeps many people current with their Project Life photos.
I love Tuesdays.
If there’s more demand for Becky’s older school kit. I also have school kits to sell — never got around to it either. I have two kits and two bonus kits (never opened boxes).
I would be interested in buying both of your school bonus kits if they’re still available.

I am so glad I found you Becky, I used to subscribe to Creating Keepsakes just because I loved your Sketches. I went from Scrapbooking to card making and other paper crafting, and let my subscription go, imagine my surprise when I picked up a copy last December and you werent there!!!! Where did my Becky go, lol??? I did a few searches, came up with your wonderful blog, love it, your decorating, love that!!! ( Hope you dont mind being copied) I have ‘liked’ you on facebook and it is great the things and links you post there, I also follow your blog now as well. I have ordered a Project Life, and it should be here today, I am in Canada. We just built a new house last year, and I am even thinking about getting a second Project Life, to put all of last years pictures in. Keep up the great work!!
Mine just arrived. I love it!!! Can’t wait to start my project!
I, too, own two of the amazing school kits and two of the bonus kits, both never opened (no reflections on the incredible kits, just a reflection on my time to scrap, I guess.) So if anyone isn’t able to get in on the first offers, please let me know and I can help you out.
I might be interested in those kits. Could you email me, Barbara? jaleyenhorst@gmail.com
I too am interested..sgiacoman@yahoo.com
I have the old school add-on kit that I would like to see as well! Anyone is welcome to contact me @ marneclark@hotmail.com
Thank you for permission to share yesterday’s post. Once I read it, I knew I needed to send it to my friend. See, we are both Cancer Mom’s….our kids, both 10 years old, have cancer and unfortunately, her son’s MRI results are due back today and she knows the news is not going to be good as his tumor has returned. I’ve been reminding her to breathe so she can make good decisions and your post and picture put it in perfect words….
Also, BTW, your Project Life last year was instrumental in following my son’s fight through the toughest year of his life. I wasn’t sure how I was going to do a Project Life with so much of it being Hospital Based but I am so GLAD I did. We look back on it and cherish the memories, knowing we have a warrior in our family. We have come so far and are blessed to be cancer free so far in 2011 (scans are in 2 weeks so I’m a wreck)….
Thank you….from the bottom of my heart. Your PROJECT LIFE BOOKS help document our journey… the good times and the more difficult ones that we still look back on and cherish.
With love and hope.
Karen Borges
Blessings to you all – and many prayers
Keep up the faith – what a difficult journey for you and your friend!
Our family had something similiar, documenting my journey through breast cancer. There were days I wondered how we could take a picture of the same thing. But by taking a picture each day it forced/allowed us to also see our experiences from a different perspective.
Best wishes and prayers.
I reminded myself that Becky says thatnthere are no rules with PL and was flexible with my very first pages. I had super important photos from the last few days of 2010. Even tho’ i’d already decided this was going to be a weekly 2011 album, I used those photos and journaled them.
could someone post photos or a description of the old school kits? I”m intrigued!
I also have 3-4 new kits if someone else is interested in purchasing. I have too many supplies and need to simplify and purge.
Kimmi K – please contact me at wife2jack@yahoo.com about the school kits you have available for purchase.
I am interested too if you still have any.
sgiacoman@yahoo.com
Sorry ladies. I no longer have the kits available but there are other comments below that are offering their kits.
I do have three Becky Higgins baby kits if that is of interest to anyone.
Do you still have the baby kits? Contact me at abishop8@gmail.com. Thanks!
Was wondering if you still had any of your baby kits available? Would love to buy one from you.
I have an old school kit and I believe the accessory kit. I found this website with some of the details

contact me at coynmelissa@comcast.net
I use the old school kits (and add-on pack of goodies) for my two boys & I love them, so here’s an endorsement for anyone out there thinking about it.
I would love to win your project life, have gone onto facebook – I have you selected as like prior to today – but have no feed for your giveaway today!!! Would love to win a kit and will try again later after work is done (working a 12 hour shift and our company computers do not allow us on facebook)
Love your old school kits and the goodies – can’t wait to see your new one!!!
I have 2 school kits and one add on kit if anyone is interested you can email me at: kennedy_mary_ann@yahoo.com
I also have one school kit, and I think a add-on, but I’m not sure. If anyone’s interested, you can email me at schultzlaura@yahoo.com.
The kt isn’t in the original packaging, but I’ll send it out all nice and pretty like. Nothing’s been used in it.
When I originally bought the kit, my husband and I were only going to have one child. Surprise – #2 is due in May! The perfectionist in me wants each kid to have the same kit….so there you go.
Thanks!
I ended up with the school kit add-on. I missed out on the kit… so it’s really not much good to me. If anyone’s interested I love to send it to a good home. chrisemclark@hotmail.com
So excited to hear that you are working on a new school kit! I was bummed to miss out on the first round (kids were just babies then and was using your baby kits at the time!) so I’ll look forward to the updated version!!!
I have 5-6 school kits that are not opened if anyone else is interested in them. I have five kids moving a warp speed which translates into no scrapbooking time for the mom! I still love the school kits and kept hoping I would get to them someday but i have to be realistic now with the fact that I will not get to them in the near future if at all.
Let me know if you are interested.

Becky -
I didn’t know where to reach you directly, but I shared a post on the chit chat portion of the message board in the PLCommunity at BPC called “Importance of the Project”. It hit home for me on Saturday as to why this undertaking is important, and I thought you might like to read it if you haven’t already.
Thank you for this project. It is so very, very important.
Sincerely,
Beth in OH
Becky – I have a little confession to make, but it includes a compliment as well. Life has been pretty chaotic the last couple of years for me – won’t bore you with details, but lets just say I’m finally getting back on the “organizational track” again. While dragging out the Christmas decorations this year, I ran a…cross a box of unknown origin. Inside I found my Becky Higgins Christmas Card kit from two years ago? or was it 3? I pulled all the goodies out and screamed with delight!! I had completely forgotten about it and was thrilled beyod belief to find it!! I cannot tell you how in love with this kit I was/am!! I still have several goodies out and am planning to use up every little piece of this delicious paper!!! Thank for your amazing, unending creative products. I love Project Life- Love the school kits – the baby kits – I have them all. But will you PLEASE consider doing another Christmas Card kit??? It would make my year!! All the best………Sherri
Thanks for the photo. I used it for my computer desktop picture at work. Beautiful!
Becky, when I saw the breathe picture yesterday I was wishing I could get a copy for myself & today here it is! Thank you so much for always sharing! By the way I gave my daughter & best friend your other 3 quote phrases in frames for Christmas & they both loved them.
Thank you for permissiont to use the picture. I immediately set it as my background.
i bought two of the school kits for my older kiddos…not thinking we’d have a third and i must say…i’m torn between trying to get my hands on an old kit to have it “match” the other kids…or wait to see how great your new school kit will be?! decisions, decisions!!
and i’ve “liked” you on facebook…i’d totally like you again if i could, you’re pretty darn cool!
I too have 1 brand new still in box school kit and 1 that was only used a bit of the preschool section but still complete. Feel free to contact me if you’d like them: snsfan@hotmail.com
Thanks so much Becky for your constant inspiration! I’m amazed:)

I love your ideas and your products! cant wait to see the new school kit!
I have 3 school kits unopened in original box if any one needs them :0)
my email is scrphappy@aol.com
Becky-
I was wondering if you were also planning another “sweet baby” kit? Hubby and I are planning on getting pregnant in the next year or so and I was curious! I will hold off buying the old version if I know a new one may be on the horizon
Thanks!
I also have 1 original school kit. Love it but I now have 3 kids and am very particular about matching. Anyone interested email me at keahig@gmail.com.
I love the school kit! Just wondering if anyone has a source for the pocket pages that came with these kits. They are the ones that have the ETC. on them. I would love to get my hands on more even if they are just plain!
Becky, this post came at exactly the right time! I have been hoping you would update us on the creation of the school kit. Being that the new kit will hopefully come this year, I was wondering if there is anything you can share with us about what items we should be storing away right now to include in the album once we get it. I have a four year old daughter in junior kindergarten. I am in Canada, so we have junior and senior kindergarten. I don’t expect your kit to cover that, but if it does, great! I am just curious to know what things I should be collecting…hand print, her hand writing, anything else? This way, I’ll be prepared when your kit is released! Oh, and will the pages fit in the three-ring We R Memory Keeper albums? I use those, so I am hoping
Thanks so much for all that you do
Sheri
Hey there! I know this is an older post, but I am so looking for Becky’s older school kit and the expansion kit. If you have one and would like to part with it, please email me at wendypetrie@gmail.com. Thanks so much!!!
