Wow! Amazing video! I am so thankful I have Project Life to record our everyday. The good, the bad, the ugly, and our many blessings…but most of all us – right now. Thank you! Thank you Becky!!!
Really great video Becky!!! I bought my first Project Life for 2011 back in Dec and now I just bought my second Project Life to highlight the life of me and my husband before we had our precious little girl Addison (who is 8 months now). I really enjoy Project Life! Thank you!
You are amazing and I LOVE LOVE Project Life! So thankful that I was ableto start one this year! I am having so much fun taking a picture a day and journaling! I can’t wait to look back years from now and just smile at all the fun things we took pictures of! Thank you so much Becky!
Really LOVELY video!
Becky
Thank you! Thank you for this video, thank you for Project Life. I am loving doing it this year. It’s helping me remember the Joy of Scrapbooking again!!
Laura
Nice job, well done!
That was so beautiful and inspirational. I am working on your digital project life now and hope to go back 5yrs before my digital camera and complete a “hands on” project life.
Thanks Becky

Geez Becky, I don’t know why, but I almost found myself tearing up watching that video and I am NOT a crier! I just think what you and your vision is helping people like myself do is just so great. I am not a scrapbooker because the perfectionist in me would never even allow me to start. My life is so full and I couldn’t dedicate the time to it to make it ‘perfect’. My Project Life kit has brought me so much joy as I have been documenting my family’s life to have something tangible I can sit down and look at with my children. I haven’t had to stress about the design or aesthetics and have been able to just focus my energies on capturing and enjoying life and those moments. I think that’s why your video was so moving…because I do believe in the importance of capturing those moments. I previously hadn’t been able to do in a way I could physically hand to my children. It’s because of your help that it’s been able to come to fruition. So for that, a great big thank you.
That was beautiful.
This brought tears to my eyes! I had an overwhelming feeling. I can;t explain it, but I bet you know what I mean. Its so hard for me in my household, since some people in my life just don’t “get it”. Its so hard to do this b/c I get so much trouble, or should I say THEY give me so much headache when I try to document…which has forced me to be sneaky sometimes…but maybe just maybe, they are slowly getting the idea why this is so important to me. I put together the books, and they all love to look at the albums….I am so happy with this product. I am such an sentimental person, and this has brought so much joy, even if it hasn’t other people in my life. Thanks for doing this video
We are doing this for us. We who “get it now” know that when it is the future and family and friends look back they will “get it” then. We just have to do it because we know the importance of it. My family always makes fun of me, but they now prompt me to not forget the moment for my album or my husband will give me a napkin or business card to put in my purse. It’s those rare times that my heart just sings. Just keep doing it and they will “get it” too.
simply AMAZING!
I am also thankful for your inspiration. Project Life has helped me to focus on the small moments. It has also given me a “place” for all the bits and pieces of life that help tell the story, like the pamphlets and ticket stubs, etc. THANK YOU!
I am doing project life and doing my best to keep up with it. I enjoy the process and the feeling of having my memories written down and in a book close to the time it happens rather than in 3 years! My questions is I need to go backwards! I need to “scrapbook” or do something with the last 2 years of pictures before project life came into my life! Becky, do you have ideas for this? Any advise would be appreciated! Thanks for you creation of Project Life!
You could buy a 2nd or 3rd kit for the other two years’ worth of pictures.
My mind is mush lately
I should have thought of that all on my own
haha! That would make it SO EASY! My only hesitation is I have so much STUFF that I feel like I should use products that I already have and not spend more money (not that Becky’s kit is not at a GREAT price because it IS!!!!!). Any ideas for an easy (not overwhelming) idea so I can use the stuff I already have (not including pages and album)?
I am adding in a ‘blast from the past’ every once in a while when I come across an old photo that I feel like adding in or maybe on a day when not much is going on. It’s fun to add in some “old” stuff now and then.
Jolene, that is such a wonderful idea, thanks so much for sharing! How about choosing a photo from the same day, but a different year, so it would be a “this is what I did on this day in 20XX, or 19xx. How fun would that be??!!
I love all of these ideas!!! I have a friend who always forwards me pics of her daughter. I save all of them and then the next year I forward them back to her. It is so fun to do! That would be a great bonus for my PL book and I also love the “blast from the past” idea. I am always finding a random picture or taking one out of a frame and that would be an excellent way to do something with it! Thanks for all of the ideas to my comment! I could not reply for some reason on the last post in this little convo so I did it on this one
And thanks again, really helpful ideas!
Kia, there is a group over at Big Picture Classes for Project Life. It is a wonderful resource of ideas. Any ideas or inspiration you need is well organized into different sections on the message board. And it’s FREE to join! http://www.bigpictureclasses.com/projectlife.php
Thank you Tracy, I will check that out. It seems like things are right under my nose sometimes and I miss them!
very cool — love this product!!
What a great video. I posted to my Facebook to spread the word of this awesome system.
Hi Becky
Really love the look of project life – is it possible to get it in the UK?
Thank you for sharing Becky – I love your passion for your product and I am so thrilled that I joined up and am doing the album this year! Its so simple! I don’t think I have ever taken as many pictures or printed as many pictures as I have this year – I love it!
Love the video Becky you are such an inspiration. Would love to do project life but is not available here in the UK and to order through Canada is sooooo expensive. Any chance it will be on sale here ?
Becky, I get Project Life and love love , love the concept. I watched this video adn loved seeing little glimpses into your life. It is a beautiful video ad you have an amazig family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for inspiring me!
Wow…..if I wasn’t already so enthusiastic about Project Life, I certainly am now. People sometimes call me crazy…”What a picture everyday?” but as I look back over my Project Life so far, already it brings such happiness and joy to not only me, my children as well, they see there achievements and defeats, good times and bad along with me xxxx
Thanks for sharing this video. I have been sending links to some friends about PL, and while they were all great, none of them summed it up like this video did. This is a great tool for promoting PL.
My favorite quote – “Pictures are meant to be preserved. Life is meant to be remembered” OUTSTANDING!! I am loving my Project Life kit and have been dedicated to it this year. Thank you for sharing your vision with us all and making it meaningful, but simple.
Such an inspiring video! It really brought home how important and valuable it is to preserve our pictures and memories – and made brought me to tears – in a good way! Thank you for bringing us this fabulous product!
It made me teary-eyed b/c with the best of intentions I am not even started on 2011. I want these memories so bad, but time…time…I need more of it!
LOVE the video….love Project Life!! This is now my third year and I’m still going strong. The project this year has taken on a new life and I am adding 8 1/2 x 11 layouts in between weeks that one picture just won’t cut it! Adding more “stuff” to it is lots of fun…I love that my whole family is on board with me. Couldn’t have done it without all their support…or yours!
Thank you!
xoxox
Love the video! Thanks for including my layout. I’m so thankful that I found this system when I was about to give up on scrapbooking all together. Not only do I have wonderful books to look back on, but it has also greatly improved my photography skills since I take pics every day now.
Great video…truly enjoyed:) It is so nice to see what others are doing with project life. I have my 2010 nearly finished. And cannot wait to start 2011. I feel behind with it all…but I know its ok…I have taken the pics, now just time to sit down and do. LOL
Putting on a crop for a fundraiser this weekend. Project life is the PERFECT to take, everything is right there for you. Won’t have a lot of time to work on it, but LOVE that I can easily pack it all up and take a few minutes here and there to work on it.
If anyone hesitates at all and you have not purchased one do it….its so great to do a pic of the day or a week of pictures. Check out Ali Edwards site…she is a huge fan of Project Life and has a really cool way of doing hers…awesome. Check it out. Thanks Becky Higgens!!!
Like yours, my life is also very full. I am Mom to seven wonderful kids and wife to a wonderful man who’s career and church calling have him running in one door and out the other continuously. I have boxes of photos and a computer loaded with years worth of memories. I am not a ScapBooker and quite honestly have never been drawn to the artistic product filled pages that, to me, seem more about the “stuff” than the actual photos on the page. I bought your project life kit in January of this year and for the past few months have felt guilty because I haven’t even had time to open the box!! Today I took a few minutes and watched your video and made a commitment to get out my Project Life and “get going!” Something you said in the video about not having to take a picture everyday, but to just start even if the album is stretched over the course of years, really resonated with me!
What I am trying to say is Thankyou so much for helping me see that I CAN do this Project Life kit and even if it goes on for along time I will still be contributing to my families story. Thanks again Becky!!
I HAVE to know about the keyboard shown in this video. I take it, it’s an Apple product? It’s so flat!! Was it hard to get used to?
P.S. I love Project Life too, but the keyboard really caught my eye.
Becky! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! That is totally a perfect explanation of what PL is to me! Thank you ONCE AGAIN for your inspiration, friendship, and yay! We made the PL video!
I love mine, just wish it were easier to get them in Australia!
Fabulous video Becky; you have such a beautiful and stylish home too! I no longer feel any pressure about not being “caught up” with my photos. Already I have completed 2010, 2008, working on 2009 and up to date this year. I have to say thought, its certainly worth trying to keep up in real time; I had a hard time remembering why I took some of my photos even in 2009 *gasp*
Oh Becky: Do you no longer do the transcripts for the hearing impaired??
I would love to know the content of this video. Was it Charlene that was doing this for you? I hope you would consider doing that again.
Thank you so much for sharing snipets of your life with us. I still have not purchashed PL but plan to soon. What a great system for memory keeping. I’ve been doing traditional scrap booking for 15 years and look forward to trying something easier.
Becky you are so beautiful and inspirational. Thank you for being you!!!!
Love it! I have a kit that I was going to start in Jan, needless to say, I never did. I kept thinking I had to start with a “special day”. Now I realize they are all “special days”, I’m starting project life today, on March 23, 2011. The best part is, is that I’ve let go of the guilt of not starting on Jan. 1. Thanks for this video!
Becky, I just want to tell you how much I LOVE Project Life. One of the best aspects—which I didn’t necessarily anticipate—is how much my children love it. They are ages 1 and 4, so up to now, they didn’t get to see many of our pictures (since they’re too young to use a computer). We use the kit with the plastic pages, which are nice and durable when handled by little ones—and replaceable if damaged. My boys have spent many a happy moment looking through our “picture book” while I clean up or cook dinner… And to hear them laughing and exclaiming over pictures is priceless. I am planning to get “caught up” with the shoeboxes of pictures I intended for elaborate scrapbooks, that I can now place in Project Life, and I know they will reveal many more stories to share with my kiddos. Thank you for this wonderful gift! Blessings to you and your family, Lauren in Florida
At the end of each video I always think “don’t know if I could get any more inspired by you Becky” but clearly after watching this newest clip, I can. I love the video & the clips of your crazy days and you appreciating even those moments that seem nuts at the time
Kudos to you for constantly reminding us how to appreciate our lives!
You= complete inspiration!
I take my journaling cards with me when I travel for work and I then go to the online picture
gallery I keep and write about the pictures during this time I am away and missing home. It
keeps me connected, keeps me current and most of all it enables me to keep our lives recorded.
Do you travel? Make yourself and nice little folder, take along a few pens and write about what you love when you miss it! jackie
I don’t have PL yet, my budget doesn’t allow me to do it
but I have a question. Many days I hesitate to write my journal because my son has some severe lerning disabilities and the most of the time I receive bad news from school and I feel so sad and worry about his behaviour and his future. Well, the point is that I don’t know if have to write about my feelings and what happen those days because I don’t want him to feel sorry for the way “he make me feel”, when in the future he look back in my albums. Do you write negative things of negative feelings in PL?????
So do you still do any separate albums for your kids?
Love the video! I am doing project life for the 2nd time in a row, and this year I am taking a slightly different approach, not the “a picture every day” approach that I did last year, but pictures from the week go into that week, so some of the pictures are from the same day, but I love the freedom of it, it realeased some of the pressure of needing a pic every day, and I am having SO MUCH fun! Thanks so much for Project Life! It really can be used in so many ways!
I love the new video and new message!
Beautiful and so touching.
