I’d like to introduce you to Allison and her little family, including Justus (3), Aisha (2) and Mya (1).
A year ago little Mya was born 5 weeks early and has kidney abnormalities which required long and frequent hospital stays for surgeries and infections.
Allison, a fellow Project Lifer, shared this with me: “I remember you posting about your grateful poster and it was a huge encouragement to me during that time to count my blessings. We have so much to be thankful for! In everything give thanks … what a challenge! Mya is scheduled for her 3rd surgery on March 31st.”

What precious items and what a beautiful thing to do!
I have a special place in my heart for children and adults who need organ transplants. I became a volunteer speaker for The National Kidney Foundation and the WI Donor Network shortly after my beautiful daughter Alyssa Narloch became an organ donor, donating both her kidneys and pancreas after she suffered severe injuries in a car accident in July 2005. Alyssa is the reason I became involved in scrapbooking when she came to me and said “mom, let’s scrapbooking together! It’ll be you & me time!”. Now, she is the reason that I speak on behalf of organ donation. Thank you for letting me share my life story and I will fore-go the chance to enter to win.
