Most artists and designers make a beautifully creative mess when they work. I’ve always admired that. It’s just not me. My best work usually comes when my desktop is clear, my notes are orderly, and there’s not a bunch of “stuff” around. It’s almost like moving clutter physically out of the way creates space in my mind — making room for clarity, my own kind of creative thinking, and better processing of my work-in-progress.
This is what it looks like in the earliest stages of my product design. Notes and sketches. That’s it.
I’d like to share what’s coming up for Becky Higgins products. While it’s too early for all the details, I can certainly give you an idea so you have at least some idea of what to expect from us this year. Remember: Everything is subject to change. Products are just ideas until they actually becomes available for purchase.
…..
{ what’s available right now }
*** This part is for U.S. customers only. International customers: I’m getting to that too. ***
First, an update on current products. We sold out of the Turquoise Project Life kits on Amazon. That’s it. We’re not printing more Turquoise or Amber kits. We do have the last of the Amber Project Life kits still available. I really don’t know how fast these last kits will go. Could sell out this week or next or maybe later. No way to tell.
We also have inventory on the following:
Turquoise binder only is $12.99
Amber binder only is $12.99
Little box of 100 Journaling Cards (3″ x 4″ with grid design) is $3.99
Divided Photo Pocket Pages – Design A (pack of 12) is $6.99
Divided Photo Pocket Pages – Design B (pack of 12) is $6.99
In case you’re new to my products, or in case you need the reminder … the Divided Photo Pocket Pages and Journaling Cards are excellent for scrapbooking in general. These do not have to be specifically for Project Life. They’re the standard 12×12 size and fit in most 12×12 3-ring binders. The 3×4 cards are a perfect fit in the smaller pockets and your 4×6 photos are a perfect fit in the larger pockets.
Pictures + journaling. Simple as that. The easiest scrapbooking ever.
…..
{ what’s coming this Summer }
Expected around July-ish, we will be offering more Divided Photo Pocket Pages in several different designs. Great for use with any 12×12 scrapbooking and of course Project Life. Also: You know those big 12×12 memorabilia pocket pages you’ve been asking for? Something to hold all that memorabilia, papers, art, etc.? Yep. We’re bringing those to you as well. And … bookmarks that will be versatile for all scrapbooking. Very excited about the versatility and possibility with all of these new items.
Shortly following these products, we have more cool things showing up around August-ish. Namely the products that will help you with school & childhood scrapbooking. We’ve been talking about this for a while and now we’re brining it to life. You can expect this to be very, very solution-based and super helpful to you in your quest to organize and document the childhood of the young people you love. You’ll probably even be motivated to go back and do your own childhood and that of your spouse/parents/whoever. Hooray! Plus — more versatile stuff for general scrapbooking. Just trying to simplify the process for anyone who wants to document life, whether you’re already a scrapbooker or not.
{ what’s coming this Fall }
And of course we won’t finish this year until we’ve brought you the new 2012 Project Life products. These should be available closer to October/November … not right at Christmastime. ; )

What I love about you, is that even when you have a great thing (project life), you are always striving to make it even better! Thanks for ALL you do! These new plans sound amazing!
Can’t wait to see all the fun stuff you’ve come up with! Nothing in my life looks that neat and organized – I’m jealous
I’ve been telling new scrappers about your Project Life. I’m hoping that they’ll buy a kit before it’s too late!
So excited about the stuff coming in july! I was so excited i actually yelled out Yes! and applauded you! HA! (wow, i’m so weird!) Anyways, I was able to snag the Amber kit for my cousin who is going to have a baby in July, and I was determined to get her to document her pregnancy and baby’s first year.( I’m the last of all of the cousins in the same age bracket to have a child, or if I ever will be able to- most liekly not.) She doesn’t really scrapbook, and I knew this would be the easiest way and less pressure/time consuming, so I bought her the kit for her baby shower gift
She is super excited after I directed her to your video! Thanks again Becky for creating such an genuis product
Are you no longer making just the binders as well?
Super excited about the new products to come! Wish I could be that organized with my own creative space.
My heart is racing with excitement, I absolutely love your products, they are everything I want and need and didn’t even realize it. Project Life has transformed the way I document my life with my twin daughters. I am never more than a week behind and love being able to toss in a traditional 12×12 whenever I have a chance or get that bug. I have been able to get some of my friends and family in on the fun. Cannot wait for all of the fun new products and since I am not spending all of my budget every month on trinkets and knicks knacks for my pages I always have money for your products set aside. Thank you Beck for all you do and putting so much time and energy into your products!
I love project life. Thank you so much for working so hard on it. Just wondering if there will he any improvements made in the actual plastic used to create the page protectors? I have had a lot of them ripping and I know many others have as well. Many people have expressed a desire to pay more for thicker page protectors. I would certainly be willing myself. Thanks.
I also LOVE my Project Life! I second the idea of thicker plastic for the sheets and would also love to have a fold-over flap at the top to keep the pictures from slipping out the.top. The other slots hold the pictures in, but the ones at the top are pretty loose. I bought 4 this year… one for each of my 3 kids and one for the family! I love to scrapbook, but fell so far behind doing the larger layouts, am loving this way to scrap! Thanks for your great product!
Miss Becky, you are truly an inspiration. I have been following you since way back (1999) when I started scrapping. I was a little tyke, only 19, when I began this endeavorer of capturing life and you have been with me all the way through. Your idea books and projects have helped me scrap my life and now with Project Life, I am caught up through March (of this year)!!!!
Your ideas and products make it so easy and I will be a loyal fan, like-er, follower, oo and ahhh-er forever!
Thanks for all you do!
Becky,
You Are Awesome! I am thrilled about what you have in store for all of us with Project Life!
awesome! the only thing that I would ask for is that the binders are the same spine/binding clip depth as 2010′s kit. I have had to buy a second binder to fit things in for this year (and it’s only April) as I do keep some of the kids’ art, certificates and all reports in the yearbook. thanks for considering it!
is it bad that i’m already excited about next year’s PL kits???? =)
I am SO excited that we will be able to get this in the UK, I have always wanted to take part but couldn’t justify the shipping costs. THANK-YOU!
I’m so excited about the pocket pages!!!
Thanks for everything you create for us; I’m also done with my son’s baby kit album – and he’s still 1.
: )
Have been patiently storing school stuff waiting to see what you designed… Looking forward to that release & perfect timing as my 2nd child will be in school more during the week to give me time to create!
Hurray, hurray, hurray, Project Life is coming to England. I am thrilled!
SWEET!! Can’t wait! So exciting!
you have me on the edge of my seat – can’t WAIT to see what is coming
I have to throw this out there to get my 2 cents in, can I say I LOVE THAT TURQUOISE KIT!!! Those colors work so well with ALL my pictures!!! The girl pictures, the boy pictures…. love love love that color combo and design. Last year I had a hard time trying to get it to “work” Those colors were really hard to make work sometimes. But I’m in love with this one!!!!!! Hopefully your considering similar design and colors for next year
Yay! I’m SO excited too and can’t wait to get my hands on a Project Life kit. I’ve been reading so much about it and all the great feedback. I’ve seen pictures of some great ideas people have used. I want to get my sister in law one too. She will love it. Like I said, I can’t wait but I’m happy to wait patiently for it all to come back out because I’m sure it’s going to be fabulous and worth the wait. Hope you’re going to send a truck (ship) load to NZ because I know it will just fly off the shelves as soon as it is unpacked. Great work Becky!
HI Becky! LOVE Project Life and the fact it has made me scrap more in my busy life – I am eternally grateful. I am keen to see and purchase your new products but find that by being in Australia and going through your NZ distributor that the cost is near double than what it would be by being able to buy directly from the US. Is there any chance in the future of purchasing directly from the US?…or have a more reasonable price from your NZ distributor? Thanks!
My mom and I just purchased 2 of the Amber edition project Life and I am super excited to use it. I am going to a crop on May 7th and I am looking forward to getting a jumpstart on mine!!
Thank you
So excited about all the goodness you’re bringing to us this year! I can’t wait!
Perhaps, like me, you need to start making dinner. But I ask you to postpone that, go sit back down and work on the school album:)
Right now our life is a bit less chaotic because I have your memorabilia semi-clear big envelopes in our kitchen, one with the K for kindergarten tab and one with the 3 for our 3rd grader. Unfortunately I only bought one of your School kits, and have been waiting to see what you release before I commit to anything else.
But my 3rd child will be starting school soon, and I can’t wait much longer. Thanks so much for this update—I can wait until August. I love my Project Life and know the school/childhood kit will be awesome. My biggest request is a really strong album as my boys love to flip through theirs. Thanks again!
Just so excited about everything upcoming! Especially a school/childhood kit!!! Been waiting somewhat patiently and also getting several of my friends geared up for it. We are all holding off on our kids’ books to see what you’re bringing out… Which I’m sure will be fabulous! Thank you Becky for all you do. Truly.
This is the first time I am going to comment on your blog but have been an avid reader ever since you created Project Life. I am primarily a digital scrapper so I have had apprehensions how I can incorporate Project Life into ways I am used to.
For the longest time I wanted to be able to integrate my scrapped pages with keepsakes, especially for my children’s schooling. My eldest in going to be in 5th grade and my youngest will be in pre-school and they just finished school this year (Ours have a schoolyear from June to March). I cannot wait to get the school kit! I hope that it will be big and strong enough. Please make them in both boy and girl colors!
Thank You Becky!
i am interested in the baby kit. . .where can i find those? i saw a blog about it the other day and would really like to purchase a few . . . i looked on amazon, but didn’t find any (i’m from canada). can you help me?
You can buy it on the Creating Keepsakes website. I don’t know about shipping to Canada though. I have one for each child. I love them they are beautifully done and have lots of great embelishments.

Thanks for all the wonderful products you bring to us. I am so far behind but trying. Can’t wait to see all the new stuff. Wish I had your techie bro here to help me sort out some computer stuff. Thanks for sharing him with us, and tell him thanks for helping too.
I am so excited to see all of the great products coming in the future. Thank you so much for providing easy to use products! I appreciate all your hard work.
SO EXCITED FOR THE CHILDHOOD KIT COMING!!!! I was planning on doing a Amber Kit for my son’s third year but I couldn’t get to it before it sold out. SO the idea of a WHOLE kit about childhood is just THRILLING!! Thank you so much!! I can’t wait!! Sabrina
Becky, This is so exciting! I can’t wait to see the new products. Thanks for your hard work. You are amazing. I am also super excited that the Turquoise Kit is still available through some other suppliers…it gives me a little bit of hope that maybe I can still purchase one somehow.
Yay! I’m super excited about all the new products on the way, but mostly I’m excited that they will be available through amazon in the UK. Being based in Europe means I have come up with my own version of Project Life, but I am so looking forward to being able to purchase a ready kit! Thanks Becky!
Wahoooo!!! VERY excited! x
Ah!!! I can’t believe PL is coming to Amazon.co.uk!
(Can you tell?!)
I am beyond excited!!
Thank you Becky Higgins!! You’re a star!
xxx
Woo Hoo very exciting!
You are doing a fantastic job of not only continually responding to the wishes and loves of all of us crazy and enthusiastic scrappers and fans, but also in “raising the bar” as we go along. It keeps our creative juices flowing, our enthusiasm high, and the interest there with you.
I can’t wait for the upcoming products, and for the way you have taken all the stress out of my scrapbooking!!! God Bless You!!
Very bummed I missed out on the turquoise edition!
I was planning on it for 2012! ONE MORE REPRINT! Please!
Becky,
So, so, so excited about all the new products!!! I love your style and can’t wait to see it all! In the past I bought your baby and school kits for my kids and I love how easy it has been to document their lives. The school kit has made summarizing their school year so simple and it has helped me to organize their scrapbooks easily. I do have a question-with the new products coming out for documenting our children’s lives and school, will it be like the old products in organization or something completely different? You may not be ready to reveal all that info yet, but I am so excited about your new products, I just had to ask! Thanks for bring us new products to help simplify this whole process!!! Thanks!
Kim Newton
I am so excited for all the new goodies coming out this summer/fall
Is it bad that I am wishing it was the end of the summer already, and we haven’t bearly seen spring yet? Thank you for all you share with us. You are inspiring!
Thank you for making your stuff available through Amazon in the UK – it will make a huge difference to a lot of UK & European scrappers! Really appreciate it!
Those new products sound amazing! Can’t wait for them to come out!
I love Project Life!
I was so upset to see that the turquoise edition wasn’t available on Amazon anymore:( I’ve been saving and saving for it (my husband is a grad student, and I’m a stay-at-home mom, so income is very limited). I finally had enough for it and went to order…all gone. So disappointing:(
Why have you decided not to reprint it again? I’m sure you have your reasons:) It’s just so early in the year, and with another one not coming out for 6 months…that’s a lot of time that people would surely buy and use it. I’m just so disappointed…
Waiting on pins and needles for the school/childhood kit! Can’t wait to see it!!!
Can’t wait! You have a gift and so thankful you share with others!
Love love love my project life… Thank you so much for creating this product. If I could have anything else to make a project life punch. One that is the size of the journaling cards (3×4). That would make adding the extra pictures and memborilla that much eaiser.
I know I’m a little late to the party…
I bought the Turquoise kit this year and love it! I would have liked to have been able to buy a set of the Amber journaling cards though…that would be wonderful if the printed cards were available separately, too. I was thinking my girls could have used the Amber cards while the boys in the family used the Turquoise.
I bought 4 of your last school kits. Made it so easy to organize everything…
So happy that PL will be available through amazon.co.uk!!!!!!!! Superexcited! Also looking forward to more of the page protectors in different formats. Awesome! Happy Easter from Norway
I have uploaded pictures to the digital project life and they still don’t appear! What do I do?
It would be great if you could find an Australian distributor that is able to handle the orders of our scrapbooking population. Have been very disappointed with not being able to purchase this kit since January and the distributors website being under construction all year. Due to the fact that Amazon will not supply to Australia please find a local distributor. Hopefully I will not miss out next year.
Glad that it’s finally coming to the UK have been very disappointed that i have not been able to join in the last couple of years. Its a shame that you couldn’t do it earlier!!
