You really don’t want to read much of anything right now, do you? I’m pretty sure you just want to SEE the new designs. So I’m going to let the visuals speak for themselves. I am thrilled to share with you the new 2012 designs for Project Life: The Cobalt Edition and the Clementine Edition.
A quick note: We hosted a design contest earlier this year, which is how we found our two beloved guest designers – Kim Gayton (Cobalt) and Lili Niclass (Clementine). Our head designer, Lori Whitlock, helped pull it all together. It was truly a pleasure to work very closely with each of the designers to pull together these new designs. Please be sure to share your appreciation + compliments with these talented artists, for they truly deserve the credit.

Gypsy, I am so sorry for your loss. My father died two weeks ago today. I cannot imagine the additional stress and pain of trying to save photos from a storm. I am praying that you will find much more to salvage than you had hoped.

Lili Niclass’ Clementine collection is wonderful too – it’s just not a direct bulls’ eye on my preferred style target.
I applaud the efforts both of you put forth. I love how things are shaping up. I simply am awed that two designers have the opportunity to add such work to their portfolios! Becky, you have a heart of gold, the foresight to blaze a new path for recording memories, and the business acumen to achieve great success. (You is you alone and you the collective.)

When I saw the 2011 Turquoise edition – I thought it was made for me. Now, when I look at the Cobalt edition for 2012 – it was made just for me! Both of the new editions are amazing, but it will be Cobalt for me and my house full of boys! Great job Project Life team!

Any chance that you’ll ever sell digital elements for us to use for our own digital scrapbook pages? I’ve been transitioning to digital books lately, and now that I’ve finally learned Photoshop Elements, I’m enjoying the freedom of creating my own layouts. I know that we can buy a digital book from you, but I’d like to be able to create my own layouts using these GORGEOUS papers and elements.

Oh my gosh gravy. I love both editions! But Clementine sends me over the edge with the text paper, composition notebook card, clock and damask. Damask steals my heart every time. And so does “notebook paper”. I’m in love. Cannot wait for these to be released as I have amazon gift certificates banked!!!

I did some piece-mealing (purchased just “The Basics”) for project life this year, trying to use up my stash, but I am 100% purchasing the Cobalt kit for 2012! Love it! and I know it will be so much easier than trying to cut and prep everything myself! Can’t wait!

Oh my gosh, can’t stop drooling. I totally love both new editions. It is going to be hard to decide. Yesterday, I was in love with Clementine but today I am in love with Cobalt. I love the dark and bold colors. And you won’t believe this that I usually side with light pastel colors. But I think it’s something about the way the whole Cobalt edition is put together that I am ready to take that leap. thank you for letting me bold!!!
Hopefully this will be my first year doing Project life. I just fear that I might not be able to keep up but I know I will have a blast putting my memories together.

Love the vibrancy of the Cobalt colors. Having a predominantly male household, I’m normally drawn to the bold/masculine kits.
May I ask why the decision was made to be so year specific with the inclusion of the 2012 card? That’s never been done in the past.
Ended up unable to do a Project Life this year, due to severe illness. But, I adore the finished product of the previous 2 years. Looking forward to compiling a project for 2012.
Nice job ladies! I just love Clementine! I don’t always get enough in to fill a page for every week and feel like I don’t use the week title cards at all. I love the smaller cards. Will you have more than just the grid journal cards available separately? The “card” journal card rocks! Great job!
I love the Cobalt will be mine in 2012! I can’t wait! I have loved my Pl this year, and cannot wait to start a new one with one more family member. It was great to document finding out we were expecting #4 in the same year she will be born. I even printed photos fro last year and used the basics to document it, and will move to 2009 soon.

I want to say a big thank you. I asked a few times for a “kit” (for the school stuff specifically) and I can see that you’re providing “bits and pieces” as well as full kits. Love that! It makes everyone happy!
(I’m in Australia and the preordering tells me that a full PL kit will cost $165 Australian dollars! I have to chose only 1 design for sure! I was VERY VERY spoilt getting some of your old Baby Kits for the bargain price of only $30 each!!!!).

Oh yes … Any great ideas on how to make multiple copies of physical PL albums (as opposed to digital) for multiple family members? Ones that look good and are relatively easy? (gee, I don’t want much, do I!!). There’s photocopying, I guess … Or scanning and printing … Am wondering if anyone has developed some solutions that work for them.

Ohhh…I am a little disappointed. They certainly don’t come close to the Amber and Turquoise designs. What a shame. Nevermind, I will still continue with Project Life, but might have to go without the kits..just plain binders and my own things inside.

I am going to invest in a Kit this year, and try and tackle this project once and for all. But i have a question about the kit. I live in Canada and went on the Canadian distribution website, and it wasn’t really clear on what’s included. can you post a picture with everything that is included in the kit? Based on the pictures i saw it looks like some things are left out? Can you clarify this??

Unfortunately, looking at the craft house website, looks like it’ll be niether, $55 for an album, in excess of $165 for the whole kit and kaboodle..
*sigh*

WOW! Stunning!! I think I will get both, so I can get started on putting all pictures i took into albums. I did Project 365 last year, but have so many more pictures I want to put in an album also, from trips, events etc. This is a great way to catch up and get those pictures in an album. And for 2012 I’ll be using 1 too. Not sure which one though. They’re both so stunning in their own way. I can’t wait to also get the new page protectors. I’ll be using some of those for this year since I think those are coming in October?

Hi Becky, Have you ever thought of bring out a 8×10 size?…On a recent trip to Oregon I brought your journaling cards with me to capture my thoughts but I wanted to scrapbook as I finished each day..I ended up sticking the memories to a page and printed a collage 4×6 at Walmart every couple of days….I thought along the way how great it would be if your system was more travel friendly for me…a little smaller. I managed with a Smash book (not sure which company makes it) but it has scrapbooking paper spiral bound into a composition looking book.
Just thinking this might be a good expansion idea for you???…I would appreciate it for sure!

Is this what the digital version will look like too? I just discovered last month that there was a digital project life, and have been loving the process of getting my whole past year organized. However, it did bum me out that the only background I have is the light gray (I am using the amber edition). Will there be digital cardstock like I see here? And the tags too? I will be sooo excited if you say yes!! LOVE the clementine!

Just catching a look at the new project life editions right now~they are both gorgeous! I’m leaning towards Cobalt, it’s so vibrant & fun! I’m so far behind on my PL 2011 book that I had actually thought might forego it next year, but now that I’ve seen the new editions I’m inspired to catch up on this year & give it a go again next year! Thank you Becky & your wonderful team of helpers for renewing my enthusiasum & providing inspiration!

Oh my I love that Cobalt design!! Can’t wait to see the digital version. I went digital this year and am loving it. I will go that route again. Hoping the journaling spots will be a little decorated this time. But either way – love your books. Every year I think I won’t do PL again until I look back over all I accomplished and there’s no way I can stop now. Even if my friends do get tired of me taking their picture every time we do something.

I noticed that one of the first page cards for Cobalt says twenty12, is there an extra card that can replace this if I want to use it for a year other than 2012?

SO, I really like the Clementine color for the binder and the deeper tones of the Cobalt paper. Does the Clementine orange match the orange hues in the Cobalt line?

I have also purchased a couple of older kits on line and found some old posts with download links that don’t work from 2009. Is it possible to have these thinks fixed or even have the older designs available on the freebie page? would be a nice compliment to the new stuff. thanks for considering this request
