Thanks for posting this article. This gives me an idea to make my own vacation book. I still prefer printed photos over the ones stored in the computer.

I think that Becky meant that she didn’t want to share her personal info. I agree that she does tend to put the personal info of others’ on her blog. I kind of miss the days that Becky wasn’t all about Project Life but I don’t think that she is so famous that someone would use her personal journaling against her. I think that in the scrapbook world, everything is supposed to be “perfect” all of the time, and so Becky wouldn’t want the not-so-perfect stuff read by others (but yet others’ sad stories are printed here.) I agree: double standard.

I love love love Project Life. My husband knows that his mission is to get the new products for me when they come out. I can’t wait to get them. Thanks so much for this revolutionary way to scrapbook. Now I don’t feel so overwhelmed with all of the layouts I need to complete.

Also, I have a Mac question for you…
I am new to Mac and I am wondering if there is an easier way to upload pics to different sites other than by putting them on your desktop. For instance I have a blog and would love to be able to easily upload pictures from iphoto to the blog. It just seems like it is much harder on the Mac.

thanks for sharing the vacation book! I have so many photos sitting on my computer. I am doing both digital and traditional Project Life books and am continuously finding ways to change them up. Thanks for showing how to enlarge photos, full bleed, etc. I was wondering about that and love how it looks! I will be transitioning to digital more than traditional for our family yearbooks… only because it seems faster and easier for me. I will continue with traditional for the kids School of Life albums… LOVE that I can include so much more in their albums this way. I also include different sized page protectors to include report cards, letters, drawings, etc.

Becky is using the camera on her MAC computer. They always flip everything mirror image. Your book will be normal and open the correct way etc.

I’m sorry if this sounds rude (I don’t mean it to be): I watched your video clip where you mention that you won’t share your personal layouts, journals and that people will need to understand b/c it is personal to your family… I kinda understand EXCEPT you often post others’ layouts, personal stories and so forth in order to sell and “advertise” your product… Isn’t that a double standard?… It certainly seems so to me.

Hi Becky…I have the original Project Life (when they first came out)…but was watching your video on the Digital version and it might be something I would enjoy better…had a couple of questions though…I would imagine you have a Mac version??…and also, how is it printed out??…and how much is both the Digital Version and the price of the printing?? I have been considering trying DPL and I am wondering if with all the new designs coming and so forth will there be an option to mix and match the different editions (ie:use both the turquoise and amber edition in the same book) for more variety? Or will you always have to pick one edition and go off of that?

Hi, Becky. I am thinking about making a DPL album and I have a question about the full bleed page. Can you put one picture across two pages, so it is like one big panorama? I think the full bleed look is cool and would be cool to do it over two side-by-side pages.
